Being a Creator means you get some cool powers

Notch is better at creating new life than his brothers, making the most complex of the Minecraftian creations.

Steve can shorten the lifespan of any creature he wants, though he cannot take the life of the creature himself.

Herobrine has control over death. He is allowed to kill whenever he pleases, though he usually just follows Notch's command to slaughter the disobedient and impure mortals. Occasionally he takes the life of those suffering to put them at ease. He can also reverse death, though doing it more than once within a short period of time can kill him. He rarely uses this power. His power over death also allows him to see spirits whenever they are, no matter the dimension.

Notch cannot add life into a dead creature as it is not creating new life, but rather reversing death. Instead, he would create an identical creation with similar traits of the dead creature to reincarnate the creature.

Notch also has the power to wipe memories.

Steve can alter memories, but he usually needs Herobrine for help for the following reason.

Herobrine can read thoughts easily, but he can read your mind with a little more concentration. He usually helps Notch and Steve to alter or wipe memories as they cannot see into the mind of individuals. Herobrine can also create illusions that change an individual's perception of reality (so Herobrine could be juggling but the individual would only see what Herobrine wants them to see).
