In Minecraftia, the black market is controlled by one of two groups, the Kivuli or the Shetani. Occasionally, the Minecraftian demons will take control of the black market, but humans are not generally allowed to use the black market during that time.

The Kivuli is primarily composed of humans. Few other species are allowed to join as they are wary of the motives of any nonhuman individual.

The Shetani is a widely diverse group of species, though the highest percentage of individuals in the group are humans. Though wary of other species, they allow them to join due to the special abilities they possess.

Both groups have been at war with each other since the time they were formed. The reason? Simple: they want control of the black market.

The success rate of the black market determines the success rate of the market economy. If the black market stumbles, the market economy falls and Minecraftia experiences a shortage of goods. Not many know this, including the gods and Creators. Ash only knows because he attacked the black market and discovered that there was a sharp decline in the market economy after each attack.

The black market has many different locations, typically in hidden underground bases. All locations are kept secret from nonmembers, and only the leader(s) of the controlling group knows the location of every base in use. Locations change fairly often due to the number of attacks from the non-controlling group and gods 'illegally' interfering.

In 3347, the leader of the Kivuli passed her leadership to Alphonse Capone*. The Kivuli were the controlling group at this time.

In 3350, the year Notch was found, the Shetani took control of the black market. The leader's name was Kufa Cheboi. A year later, he took a young man under his wing. The young man eventually became the coleader of the Shetani. The coleader helped arrange the covenant that allowed the Minecraftian demons to trade in the black market. Kufa was murdered by the Kivuli in 3354, and his coleader was forced to now lead the black market in his own.

Ashton.
