Before Betrayal and Chaos come out, I have a little challenge for you.

Why did William, James's little brother, try to overthrow the Creators (circa 995), just to be banished to the Void?

And why does James suddenly turn on the Creators over twenty thousand years later?

Keep in mind, these two were the only gods Herobrine created and were some of his best friends.

I have NEVER said the reason behind these betrayals, not publicly at least, so good luck!

To be honest, I completely understand the reasoning, but I wouldn't have reacted in the way these godly brothers did.
