Herobrine has a Nether dragon named Lilah. He is rarely seen without his companion.

Nether dragons are the symbol of the Nether.

Description: They are small, long dragons that can easily blend into the surrounding Netherrack due to their dark red color. They generally don't reach a height higher than that of the average housecat. They do have wings, but cannot fly. Instead, their wings are used to glide around the Nether. Mostly they just run, jump, and climb. They have long tails that are prehensile*. As most dragons do, they have sharp claws designed to grip, either to prey or the Netherrack cliffs they seem to enjoy. Nether dragons are a gentle breed of dragons, generally docile around humans, though they have been known to attack if one gets too close to active breeding grounds. The best way to capture a Nether dragon is to grab one by the tail and dangle it upside down for a moment before allowing the dragon to climb onto your arm. This disorientates the dragon temporarily, giving the (likely) poacher time to put the dragon wherever they want. This action does not harm the dragon. Leather gloves that reach the elbow are recommended for humans and inexperienced magic users and gods (the claws hurt like hell). Nether dragons are never found naturally in the Overworld as they cannot breed outside the Nether.

Herobrine has a Nether dragon named Lilah. He is rarely seen without his companion. If one is to see a Nether dragon anywhere outside the Nether, run. Herobrine is nearby.

Psst Herobrine also has private breeding grounds for Nether dragons near his castle, allowing him to easily care for the creatures during mating season without having to go too far.

Lilah enjoys running off, starting a 'game' of chase with Herobrine. The Nether god always wins, and Lilah will then climb up Herobrine's arm and curl herself around Herobrine's neck, appearing to look like an odd boa.

Herobrine has special connection with Lilah, allowing him to call out for her simply by calling her name.

As mentioned before, Lilah has a habit of running off. Normally she runs to Steve when he is near, confusing both the brothers and any surrounding mortal. The reason for this is unknown, though Herobrine speculates that he and Steve have similar auras that Lilah can detect and track.
