Isla is a servant to the King of vampires, a cruel man with a pattern of bringing new young women to his castle as lovers only to kill them within a few days, or worse. Only a handful have managed to escape. After meeting his latest subject of interest, a woman named Luciana, Isla realizes she can't stand by and watch her die. Using her years of expertise and observations of previous captives mistakes Isla guides Lucia around the King's moods, but as the two work together something more than friendship begins to bloom.
