Abeer's POV

I don't know if it's right to trust Jay or not but yeah Meera's trust on him made me trust him.
We went back to India and Meera wanted Jay to come with us and a good thing was Jay came with us. He was going on his next project after three months in India itself on Himalaya and that's why we told him to come with us.
Honestly I'm really very happy for Meera.
After Jay came she always has a smile on her face. For a time she even forgot that Rajeev Kapoor is still left !!

It's two months and some ten days since we came back and everything is going smooth!!
And that's what is troubling me. It's been three months and he has not done anything and it seems to be the silence before storm.

"what happened now" Meera asked on phone  
"Where is that idiot brother of yours" Divya shouted and I chuckled as phone was on speaker 
"What he did now" I asked   
"I was told to send a brand new professional camera to Jay Kapoor's pent house by your dear wife Abeer Malhotra  and when I come here the flat is locked . Now tell me am I her personal secretary or her brother's" She fired and Meera suppressed her laughter.
"I'm telling you Meera! I'm fed of you brother and sister!! That man never speaks nicely and here I'm standing in front of his house with a camera" She shouted
"Calm down lady don!! Just do one thing keep the camera with you!" Meera said
"Correct ! I'm made for this only" She bickered 
"Jay's not that bad Divya" I told
"Yeah!! He's worst" She shouted and I looked at Meera!!
"You know what Divya!!! Meera used to say me same!! And now you know ..." I was saying when she whined.
"Yuk Abber !!! Never!!" She shouted and I and Meera laughed
"He's not that bad"Meera teased
"You know what Meera Malhotra!!!  Fuck it off!! I'm going keeping the camera there only " She shouted and cut the call and we both bursted out laughing.
"Well, Abeer honestly they look sweet togather fighting like cats on small things" Meera said an I nodded

"Oh I forgot to tell you one thing again!!" She smiled 
"What" I asked 
"We are again on magazine cover" She said kissing my neck handing me the magazine.

Yeah since last two months we are on magazine's front cover.

"And that's going to continue sweetheart !!" I said pulling her in to a kiss.
"Oh God!! Shit!! Shittttt!! Abeeer!! Dad's going to kill me" she shouted pushing me away and I looked at her
"What happened" I asked irritated
"Dad told me to be in office room just in ten minutes" She told
" What!! Why" I whined
"The hell I know Malhotra. Let me go" she said while I grabbed her waist tightly
"Abeer!! Please let me go. You know right dad don't like when we're late in works" she told
"And what I'll get if I leave you" I asked and she huffed
"Whatever you want" she replied
"Sure!! Promise, wait no promise! Pinki promise " I asked raising my eyebrow
"Yes. Promise" she replied and I loosened my hold on her
"I very well know you garbage minded man." She giggled and I smirked
" Oh my sweet wife that I'm going to get already but now I'll keep this promise with me and will ask when time comes" I smirked and she giggled
"You're impossible. Okay bye. I'll see you afterwards" she told and I nodded
"Come soon. I'm waiting here only" I shouted and she chuckled

It's six pm and I also have a video conference to attend.  
Thinking this I went to table to take my Mac book.

Oh shit!! I forgot it in office yesterday!! And the details of presentation are also in that only!!

Joseph!!

He's also not here. He has went to pick mom from airport.
George is also not here. He has went to office due to Meera's work.

It means I myself have to go !!
I reached office when I suddenly got Jay's call!

"Hello brother in law. Where are you " He asked   
" Right outside the office but What happened" I questioned back
"Okay! Get inside please! I'm coming. Have to tell you something very important" He told
"Jay! Are you okay!" I asked
"Yeah!! I'm coming" He said
"Okay! Just come directly to my floor." I told and he hummed hanging the call.

  I was in my office attending the conference and till that he came. After half an hour my conference got over and I looked at him.
"What happened" I asked 
"Something's wrong. Something is very very wrong" He told
"Jay!! What happened ! Tell me clearly" I asked 
"He's here ! Rajeev Kapoor is here" He whispered and I looked at him.
"In Mumbai!"I asked and he nodded
"When!!!" I gritted
"Today only and, he met me" He told and I looked at him.
"What!!"I asked
"He told that he's guilty for what he did ! He realized this much before when I broke all my ties with him ! He's regretting everything and he wanted to tell me that he'll not harm Meera di now " He told and I fisted my hand. 
"Bloody lier" I cursed
"I know he's lying and that's what is bothering me. He has not done anything since di became CEO. He's planning something different this time Brother in law ! I know him! He's a greedy man ! He'll not leave a whole Empire this easily ! And guilty!! Not at all" He reasoned
"He can never be guilty. When that person didn't feel guilty while trying to kill his own brother then he can't be guilty for anything ever" I chided
"I know brother in law and that's what I'm saying ! He's upto something !! And this time he's not alone!"He said and I looked at him.
"What do you mean" I asked
"Do you know Emma Ahuja!! I mean is she related to di in any way" He asked
"Don't you know anything  about this" I asked and he denied !
"Emma was..my ex !" I told and he looked at me.
"I..I didn't understand.." He said
"Do you know in which circumstances I  and Meera married " I asked
"I don't know much because Di never told me and moreover I didn't ask her ever" He replied
"I was going to marry Emma Ahuja ! I came India with her only but she ran away on the day of wedding and I was tied to Meera in those circumstances. And you know your sister right!" I said and he looked at me with a feeling of hurt ! 

Fine!! He'll feel like that!! After he's her brother!!!

"And she married you for the happiness and reputation of Malhotras" He completed and I nodded
"I know many things are running in your mind Jay ! I was not at all ready for this ! Neither was Meera but circumstances tied us togather ! I never thought we'll ever end up like this " I told and he nodded
"I too never thought"He muttered
"Still we're" I shot!!
"So Emma don't like Di because she married you" He asked
"This is one of the reason" I told
"You mean something more happened" He questioned and I nodded.  
"Ever seen advertisement of MCD" I asked and he gasped
"Oh Shit!! Emma Ahuja!! Are you out of your mind!! You got her only after what she did to ruin your life" He shouted!!! 

This whole Kapoor Family is Stubborn family!!

"Shutup ! It wasn't me !! It was your Big Dad!" I gritted
" He must have not known about this" he defended  and I nodded
"On the day of it's launch she was also there and she tried to manipulate Meera by showing herself kissing me" I told and he rolled his eyes at me.
"Don't even give me that look!! I loved your sister even before that and I didn't kiss her" I told and he nodded.
"And I slapped her" I told and he grinned
"Bitch deserved that" He said and I smirked
"And her life ruined more when Meera became CEO" I told
"She took away the MCD contract from her" He asked smirking and I nodded
"My Sister rocked"He grinned
"And it was her mistake in a way" I told and he looked at me
"What do you mean" He snapped
"The same day she received black roses with a note hope you die soon! Emma was the one to send them" I told and he looked frightened at me.
"And I saw Emma Ahuja today going inside the hotel asking the same suite number in which I went. In which he called me. It means they both are.." He was saying when I cut him off
" Togather in this" I completed and he gulped !

"Di, will be fine ! Nothing will happen to her ! I'm with her. You're with her! " He said and I nodded  
"Nothing will happen to her. But I'm still having doubt" I told
"What" He asked
"I can now understand why they've not done anything ! They just wanted us to forget this a bit so that they can take advantage of it.. But he's not that mad to come to you and say that he's guilty " I explained and he nodded
"He wants to catch our attention to them only Jay!! We are missing something" I focused
"But what" He asked 
"That's what we've to find out " I told
"Please take care of her ! I know Rajeev Kapoor very well ! He's very vicious man " He sighed and I tapped his shoulders. 
"Don't worry !! Nothing will happen to Meera till she's with me" I assured

"By the way!! Someone was there at your home freaking on you" I smirked and he looked at me. 
"Divya!!" I told and he looked at me.
"What happened. Why she was at my home. She fine" He asked and I smiled 
"Very fine. Just go home you'll find out" I told and he nodded.

Suddenly my phone rang and I smiled !
"Where are you" She asked
"Office" I replied
"And what are you doing there" She asked
"Came to take Mac book. I forgot it yesterday in office itself" I told
"Okay now come soon!! I'm waiting for you" She sang and I smiled
"On the way ! Don't cut the call" I told and gestured Jay to come with me !
"No way!! Cut the call while driving" she warned        
"Meera please! I'll use bluetooth" I whined and she chuckled.
"Fine"She said and I did as I said.
"Baby hold for a minute" I said and put her call on hold
"Don't tell Meera about this. Not a single word okay!!" I told Jay and he nodded going towards his car.
"Take care" I said and we drove off !
"Yes love!! " I called
"You were with someone" She asked
"No ! I got Patrick''s call " I lied and she hummed  
"Why dad called you spoiling my quality time" I asked and she giggled 
"Actually dad was busy with any meeting in Paris only so he asked dad to take me with him in the conference video meeting" she replied
"Okay ! So basically your dad and my dad are playing villians role in our romance"I said and she laughed
"You're idiot" She said and I smiled
"Abeer!! Come home safely okay" she added 
"Offcourse Love don't worry ! I don't drive that bad  " I said
" I know how you drive, Please slow okay" she told  
"Honey!! You fine right" I asked
"Yeah!! Just come soon! I'm waiting for you at dinner"She said
"Yeah baby! I'm just going to.." I was saying when suddenly a truck came and was about to hit the car when I turned my car and it hit barricattes!!

"Ahh" I shouted  

"Abeeeeeeer!!" She shouted 

Meera's POV

I was talking to him on phone when suddenly I heard a screeching sound followed by a hitting sound.

"Abeeeerrr!! " I shouted  
"Ahh" came voice from another side.

"Abeeerrr!! Abeerr!! Are you there" I shouted on the verge of crying

"Yeah!! I'm..I'm fine!" He said and I denied.
"What happened Abeer!! Where are you right now" I asked as I ran out of my room to downstairs.
"I'm fine Meera don't worry" He said
"Shut up Abeer!!! Where are you tell me and be there only till I come" I shouted wiping my tears.

"Meera what happened" Mom asked but I denied and ran outside
"George car" I shouted and he nodded.
"Abeer!! Are you there" I asked
"Love don't worry and don't cry! I'm really fine!! " He said and I gritted    
"Abeer !! Address right now damn it!! " I yelled 
"Near Marine drive" He said
"George. Marine Drive fast!!" I commanded and he nodded.
"Meera!! It's just ten minutes from Almount. I'll reach" He said

"Shut up Abeer!! I'm just coming. Wait there and don't cut the call" I warned wiping my tears.

I reached there and I saw him outside the car. His shirt was crushed and I looked at his head !! I ran near him and hugged him tightly.

"I told you not to drive rash" I yelled and he looked at me.
"Sush!! See I'm alright." He said.

I looked at the car !! It was completely  smashed from front !

"Abeer!! You don't know what would've happened" I sobbed as I looked at him.    
"Meera see I'm fine. All good infront of you" He told wiping my tears and I touched his forehead where there was a wound.        
"Come inside the car" I said .
"George first aid" I told as we settled and he was already ready with it. 
"Thankyou" I said
"My duty madam" He bowed and started car.

I wiped the blood coming from the wound by antiseptic wash and applied bandage to it.

"It was so small Meera" He said
"Stop it Abeer!! This was small!! Did you see the front part and headlights of the car. How they're smashed. What if..something..something have happened " I cried and he hugged me ! 
"Nothing has happened and nothing will happen love" he whispered and kissed my forehead.
"But my Lamborghini !! How much I loved it" He frowned and I hit him. 
"Shut up moron. Car's more important or you" I yelled while he chuckled 
"You will not drive now" I said
"What!! Meera it wasn't my mistake ! I was driving slow and in right direction. Now what's mistake if that idiot truck driver drove in this lane and that too without even a horn !! Bloody idiot!! I don't know who the hell give such people license !" He gritted     

"I'll not leave him! George ask the traffic head of Marine Drive to take action against that truck driver or otherwsie I'll surely take action against him!!" I ordered and he nodded

We reached home and as we entered mom came.
"Meera where did you ran like this from mansion. What happened Sweety" She asked and I looked at the entrance from where Abeer came.
"Abeer!! Oh My God. How did this..." mom asked concerned while dad too came.
"Meera where did you ran like this and Abeer how did you get injured" Dad asked and I told them everything.

"Oh my God Abeer!! Are you alright son" asked mom concerned
"Nothing has happened to me mom. Don't worry. It's just a scratch " He said

"No mom! It's a wound and I'm sure it's because his left side of the forehead hit to the steering with force" I told glaring him
"Meera!! It's nothing"he repeated  again
"It's nothing for you but it's much more me. Mom he don't care a bit about us. See!! Is it nothing" I sobbed and dad came and hugged me
"Meera!!  See he's fine and good in front of you right! " he said and I nodded
"Okay now you both just freshen up and come fast" mom told and we went upstairs
"Honeybun ! I'm fine !!" He said and I nodded
"You go and freshen up ! I'm very hungry" I said and he chuckled !!
"That's my Meera! I'll be back in minutes" He grinned going inside walk in !

I was going downstairs when suddenly my phone beeped !!
I opened to see a message from unknown number !!
I opened the message !!! And it shook me from head to toe !!!
