Meera's POV

"You didn't change a bit" Jay said kissing my forehead and I smiled.

Yes Jay was here!!!

But all of a sudden some banging sound came and I looked in front of me.
Abeer was standing there fuming in anger and kicked the door.
"You...how dare you kiss my wife" he shouted  and came pulling Jay's collar

Shit!! Is he mad or what !!

"Abeer...what are you doing " I yelled while he punched Jay and I looked shocked at him.

Oh God!!!

"Ouch!!! Are you mad" Jay hissed and he kicked him one more time.
"Abeer!!! Stop it please" I shouted but everything in vein!!!
"How did you kiss her!! I can tolerate that hugs Meera but I can't tolerate this kiss. You knew it still. Then you would tell me It's my fault. I'll not leave this bastard" he shouted and punched his nose that started bleeding

He Had Gone Maaad!!!!
"Abeer!!! Stop it" I shouted on my peak and came in between pushing Abeer aside.

He'll kill Jay !!

"Are you out of your mind Abeer Malhotra!! Get away from here before I push you out!!" I fumed in anger and he looked at me angrily
"For someone else you're pushing me out" he sniffed 
"Who someone else !! Do you even think anything before you do something. He's my brother. Jay " I shouted angrily and he looked at me shocked !!  

"The son of that bastard!!! Then he must be surely killed" He roared in anger and was coming near me when I again pushed him away.
"Just shut up Abeer!! Be in your limits otherwise go away from here  if you don't want to listen anything" I shouted and he looked at me a bit hurt !!  
"I'll surely not leave you if a scratch comes on her" He glared Jay and then looked at me.
"And you know what your problem is !! You yourself invite your enemies to harm you! You're that much stubborn" he accused going away banging the door and a tear left my eye.

He don't even listen to me and creates stories in his head!!

"Meera di !! Please don't cry !!" Jay said while I called Divya from her cabin.
"What happen..Oh My God !! He's bleeding !! What happened. And Meera !! Did you cry" Divya panicked
"Divi !! Give me first aid box" I said and she nodded and went away coming back with box.
"Who did this Meera"She asked
"Who else will do !! I don't know why he never listen before jumping on conclusions" I whispered wiping my tear.
"Abeer!! " She sighed
"It's okay Meera di! He think I'm just like dad" Jay said  
"But you're not " I replied cleaning his wound. 

Flashback 

I came office and as soon as I entered office I saw someone. The face seems similar and when I asked the receptionist his name,  I was shocked!!

What the hell is he doing here !! Offcourse Rajeev uncle would've send him here !!
"Who's he Meera " Divya asked seeing my clenched fists
  "Jay Kapoor" I whispered       
"Di" came a voice and I looked at him.

Di !!! I craved to listen this but you killed the relation Jay !
"How are you Di. I missed you so much!" He said hugging me while I was standing as it is !!

That's it !! No fake now !!
"What are you doing here Jay" I asked
"I want to tell you something di. Something very important" He told  
"Say" I replied
"It's personal " He said looking at Divya and Divya was about to go when I grabbed her hand.
"She's more then family ! " I replied and she looked at me while he nodded
"But in your cabin." He told and I nodded.
We all went to my cabin on my floor.
"How are you di" He asked as we settled in our chairs. 
"Jay ! Directly to the point" I told and he nodded
"I know who tried to kill you." He said  and I eyed him !

Is he trying to say his dad's name !! But why!! They're all behind my life right!!!!  

"What you want to say !" I asked
"Di ! I don't even know how to say this. It feels so shameful to tell you but it's important. Dad is the one who tried killing you ten years back . He was the one to kill you" He said with his head low.
"And how are you so sure" I faked even when I know. 
"Di. You remember ten years back when you and me were in the park and suddenly our three bodygaurds were shooted" He asked and I nodded.  
"How can I forget that ! The three bodygaurds were killed and you said me to run away from there and go to the park's underground ware house" I sniffed glaring him.
" Dad told me ! Before that day dad told me that you were attacked by your personal bodygaurd. I told him that I want to protect my sister from all this. That time he said that ever if I find danger near you I should tell you to run inside the park's warehouse. I thought if dad's saying then it's safe place for you. But I was wrong. I didn't know dad's the one who's behind all this. The main culprit is my dad Meera di. Rajeev Kapoor ! May be I would've never come to know this if I wouldn't have heard him talking to that Saxena !! The day, when I came from school and I was told that you met an..accident" He said and wiped his tear !!  
"Dad told me you..you're no more. I cried whole night because my only best friend,my sister and on top of that my second mother was snatched away from me. I came out of my room  because I wanted to go to mansion to Big mom but before that I heard dad on phone." He said
"What"I asked
" We wanted to kill that girl still we couldn't. But our good time came. God's with us and see even without doing anything she met an accident and burnt!! She's dead. I can't tell you how happy I'm  feeling." He sniffled repeating Rajeev Uncle's words!
"I asked dad that how could he do this. How can he be so cruel !! I told him that I'll tell big mom and dad about this when he threatened me with their lives. Being a kid I was afraid so I couldn't tell anyone anything.  I'm sorry Meera di.  I'm your culprit. I still curse myself each day to believe that man and take you to the warehouse!!   I curse my fate to be born to him. To be his son" he gritted and I looked at Divya who held my hand tightly
"I'm sorry Meera di! I'm really sorry!! I never went back to him ever. Slowly as I grew up I came to know how worse he is. I went out to study and I never went back to him.Never and I'll never even go back to him. He's not even a man to be called " he said angrily and wiped his tears
"Jay!! Stop crying. " I said standing up and gave him water.
"So it means you want me to believe you were never included with your dad" I asked and he looked at me
"You can think what you feel right di. But just ask your heart for once. I'll not say anything in my defense because I know I don't need to.I did two mistakes. Believing that man and thinking he thinks good for you and not being able to tell big mom and dad anything. And you can punish me for that. Because as much he's culprit. I too am a culprit." He whispered and I hugged him tightly

My baby brother!!!

"I'm sorry di!! I'm sorry I couldn't protect you" he cried and I wiped my tears
"Sush!! It wasn't your mistake. See your di is all good in front of you. I must be sorry that till today I thought you to be a culprit too.  To think that you're just like him but Today I can say.. You're not a bit like him.  You're the exact copy of her! Your mom." I replied patting his back.
"Di. From start you knew right that he's behind all this" he asked and I nodded
"Why didn't you get him arrested then" he asked
"We didn't have any proofs against him.We still don't have" I told
"I'm a witness di. I'll give my statements " he said

And here all the time I was thinking him to be a culprit too!!!
He wasn't at fault at all. He was also one of the victim in this dirty game of Rajeev Kapoor!!

"Just witness can't prove anything. We don't have any solid proof against him." I replied and he sighed
"Jay. Why are you helping me when you know your dad will be rotting in bars if he is arrested" I asked
"Someone who backstab isn't family right. Big dad always said this. I don't call him dad. I don't have any relation with him after what he did to my family" he said looking down
"Didn't you ever wish to be CEO of K. Empire" I asked and he smiled
"I always knew who deserves this and moreover I was never interested in business di." he told
"That's true. I too never found anything about you in these years. Mom and dad too didn't know about you and you aren't any part of K. Empire... then where were you all these years Jay and What were you doing " I asked
"After my schooling got completed in Paris...the time till which I developed a sort of hatred towards my so called father. I decided I'll not longer live with him. I knew I couldn't even go to big mom and dad. With which face I could've gone to them because I was the son of their daughter's attacker. So I decided to leave Paris" He told and I and Divya looked shocked at him
"Jay!!Where were you all these years then" I asked and he smiled
"The place where you lived initial months of your marriage" He told and I looked shocked at Divya
"New York" she whispered and I nodded
"You were in NY" I asked and he smiled weakly
"I got scholarship from NY college of art  and I went there" he told
"So...you weren't in contact with Rajeev Kapoor after that " I asked and he sighed
"No! I broke all my ties with him. Because of just that one person I wasn't even able to raise my eyes up and talk to Big mom and dad ever. And they too never tried contacting me because according to them I was also one of the culprit and they're not wrong at their place" He told and I hugged him tightly
"I always thought I've suffered. But this all made you too suffer a lot. " I sobbed and he ruffled my hairs
"No di. My suffering is nothing infront of yours. Not a bit. But I'm so so much happy that you're back. My di is back" He said and I smiled
"Your di was back before one month and you're coming now. " I frowned
"Since two months I'm not in contact with anyone" He replied
"And why so" I asked
" I Was in Savannah from last two months" He told and I rolled my eyes at him
"You're not coming anytime soon in K. Empire it means" I asked frowning and he denied
"Business was never my cup of tea di. And after what he did, not at all. I'm a wildlife photographer and I was interning under World's most renowned wildlife photographer" he grinned and I smiled
"Baby bro grew big huh!!" I said ruffling his hairs and he smiled
"I'm sorry di" He again said and I wiped his tears
"I'm sorry! I've hated you all these years thinking that you're also...Please forgive me" I sobbed and he hugged me tightly
"I missed you so much" He cried
"I missed you too Jay" I whispered wiping my tears.
"Meera.. Jay Water" Divya asked and I looked at her.
"Why're you crying" I asked and she hugged me.
"Because you're crying " she replied and I smiled
"Idiot!! Today I'm really very happy" I said and she nodded
"Di, you know when nine months back I saw you with Abeer Malhotra, I looked at you and somewhere I felt that you're much similar with my Meera di but then again my mind would remind me that you..you're no more" He said and I smiled
"And what reminded you of me when you saw Meera Malhotra" I asked folding my hands and he chuckled
"I couldn't notice you much but I know that you married him in bad terms right" He asked and I nodded
"And how you know.. " I asked but before which he spoke
"Some habits don't change di. Like supressing your tears by biting lips, or crossing all your fingers with each other when you're nervous or you want to supress your laughter. Or tapping your foot all the time when you're nervous, or looking at food.. especially desserts like they're your babies" He said and we all chuckled
"So this can be anyone right..why you thought it to be me" I asked
"Don't know. Connection by heart may be. It felt as if it's you but I never raised any hope. You know I came back yesterday night to NY from Savannah and I got to know about this all.  Whatever happened in this one month and di from then I was just waiting to see you for once and tell you everything. And my good luck you came to NY" he said smiling
"What a life right!! You were in NY and me too.  Still I never saw you " I told and he nodded
"Di! You're happy with him now right" He asked and I looked at Divya and she chuckled
"I can't be more happy" I replied
"I'm happy that I've one more family member back in my small little family" I squeaked happily and he smiled
"I'm with you Di. Always!! And I'm ready anytime when you need someone as a witness. Atleast we can be sure on this. He might kill  all the witness aginst him.. He'll not kill me" He said smiling  painfully.
"Meera ! It's eleven twenty."Divya reminded and I nodded
"Jay ! I'll meet you after some hours here only okay ! Right now I've to attend a meeting" I told and he nodded.

Happiness is this ! I got my baby brother back !!

Flashback Ends !!!

"Meera ! I think you should go to Abeer!" Divya told and I denied
"His anger is just unjustified this time. He don't even think before he do anything" I said.
"But Di. He's not at fault. He must have thought same what you thought before I told you everything" Jay told 
" Yes Meera ! And you know him very well ! I just hope he's fine" Divya told and I nodded
"Come let's go home" I told and she nodded. As we started walking Jay grabbed Divya's hand !!  
"What the.." Divya was going to say but stopped herself !
"What" She snapped at Jay 
 "It's her matter.Why do you think you're going with her" He gritted  
"Mr.Jay  Kapoor. I'm living with her only and moreover she's my bestfriend !" Divya answered
"So ! I'm her brother. Still I'm not going because I think I should not poke my nose in between them and so you too" He said and Divya looked shocked at him.
" I'm not poking my nose" She gritted
  "Sush!! You both! Stop your cat fight ! Divya ! He's right now correct ! I'll go alone because I myself isn't sure that in which state I'm going to find him" I whispered remembering what happened last time in NY !!
"But take care Meera" Divya said and I nodded 
"Come home till eight okay. Till then roam around the city if you want. After all you're in NY" I told smiling and she denied.
"I'm here only.I'll come afterwards.Till then I'll set the schedule for tomorrow" She told and I nodded
"Jay be with her here only and then you too come home" I told and they  both said No in unison.
"I'll not come there di. He'll be freaked out " Jay said
"And I'm good alone here " Divya told glaring him.
" Divya!! No arguments in this!! And Jay!! You'll come there. He has to know you're not at fault" I told and he sighed.
"Fine" he replied
"Bye and please don't fight" I told and they both gave cold shoulder to each other !!!

I came out of the office and went straight to the mansion.
"Joseph!! Where's he" I asked
"Gym madam" He replied

Gym!! What is he doing there at this time!!

I ran to the lift and went to the gym floor.
It's one hour since he left from office and what is he doing here at this time !!

As I reached near I heard sound of punches. I went inside to see him all wet in sweat and he was punching the bag rapidly !!
"Abeer!!" I called but he didn't look at me.

God!! Is this his new way to take out anger by hurting himself !! He's not even wearing gloves!!

"Abeer!!Stop it " I shouted but he didn't listen!!
"Abeer!! If you don't stop I'll come in between the bag and you" I shouted again and this time he stopped.
"Get away from here and leave me alone" He said and I looked at him going to the almirah and pulled first aid kit out.
"Are you out of your mind Abeer" I asked and he stepped back from me !!
"I said go away"He shouted and I flinched
"Your hand's bleeding Abeer !You're not in your senses. Please don't harm yourself please"I whispered as a tear left my eye.
"I'm in my all senses Meera ! And that's why I've harmed not you ! Better go away from here before I harm you" He raged.

I didn't say anything and took his hand in mine !

"Don't you understand Meera !! Leave me alone because there are people out there who are more important to you" He growled while I cleaned the blood from his palms to which he hissed in pain!

"Harming yourself won't give you peace. And if will cause much more pain to me." I said wiping my tear and he looked at me.
"And harming you will cause pain to me better I'll harm myself ! Go away ! Your so called amazing brother must be waiting for you" He scoffed.
"He's not at fault Abeer" I told wrapping the bandage around his hands.
"Yeah!! And that bastard must have narrated you a story which you believed" He shot
"Abeer!! Mind your tongue! You're talking about my brother" I snapped
"I am talking about one of the culprit !! But don't know what that snake told you that you're not even ready to listen" He growled
I narrated him the whole story!!
  "And you believed this shit" he chuckled humourlessly
"Abeer!! He's not lying. Believe me! After all he was also just eleven year old when all this happened" I reasoned
"And why you think he'll not want K Empire after which his dad is running" He asked
"He had broken all the ties with him Abeer! Why can't you trust him for once" I asked
"Because I think by mind not by heart like you" He shot back angrily  and I looked at him.
"Just meet him once Abeer ! You yourself will believe him. He's even ready to be the witness" I told and he looked at me
"I'll not believe him this easily" He told
"Abeer!! " I was saying when he cut me off.
"Don't believe anyone so easily Meera!! May be he's not at fault but in future too believing someone just like that may prove to be your biggest mistake" He said looking at me
"I don't trust people so easily Abeer! You know this very well!!" I told and he looked at me
"Yeah!! I forgot it took you months to believe me and an hour to believe him" He said smiling painfully and I looked at him.
"Abeer!! You're taking it very wrong way." I said.

He closed his eyes in frustration and opened it after some minutes.

I saw his nerves relaxing.
And I sighed in relief.

"Call him. I want to meet him" He said standing up and I looked at him.  
"Really" I asked 
" I hate to repeat"He said and I smiled kissing him on lips and he looked at me.
"Just remember! If I found anything about him which harm you,  I'll beat him up without thinking twice" He warned going away
"That time won't come" I yelled and stood up going to pick his coat of tux when I saw the punching bag.

White punching bag with red spots  !! And this tells how badly he hurted himself in anger!!!

You're hurting yourself Abeer in your anger and this pains a lot !! 

I wiped my tears and went out. I went to the room and heard the water flowing. He's mad!! I right now did bandage and he went to bath !

I waited for him to come and he was back in his towel and water dripping from his body !!

Shit!! Control Idiot!!

"You don't need to" He said and I looked at him.
"What" I asked
"You don't need to control" He smirked and I smiled !

Abeer Malhotra is back !!

"Why did you bath.I just now did the bandage" I told and he came near me.
 "Then do again" He whispered from behind and I closed my eyes.
"I...I'll bring ..fi..first aid kit" I spluttered and ran to side drawer.

 He too came back wearing his black Tshirt and  Cargo pants.

"Come" I said and made him sit on the bed.

I did his dressing again and looked at him.

Suddenly there was knock on the door.

"Dinner is ready madam" Said home staff
"Coming" I replied. We both went downstairs.
"Where's Divya" Abeer asked
"Here" She replied from the main door.
"I guess you both are fine" She asked looking at Abeer's hand and I nodded.
"Punching bag died" I whispered in her ear.
"Thank God it was punching bag. " she told  
"Where's.."I was asking when I looked at the door. 
"Let's have dinner" Abeer announced glaring him 
"Jay come!! " I told
"Thanks di but you all continue. I'll be going to penthouse"he told    
"Join us" Abeer told looking at him and went towards dining area and I smiled looking at him.  
"Come" I told and he nodded.

We all settled in our chairs and Abeer was glaring at me and Jay !
"So! Where were you all these years" he asked like he was a CBI head and my poor baby brother a criminal.
"here only. NY" Jay replied 
 "Under whom" He asked 
"Nick Bartum" Jay replied
"Really!! Whoa Boy!!He's the best"I replied and Abeer glared me.
"So you don't want to join business" Abeer asked
"I never wanted to. It's not something made for me. I always was fascinated by animals and their photography! I know sir you won't believe me. I too will not try for it ! All I want you to know is Meera di is as much important to me as she's to you" Jay said and I smiled. 
" Listen! I don't have any problem with you ! If you're honest as she believes, I don't mind it ! But ever if I find that this was all a lie , I swear I'll not leave you" Abeer warned and he looked at both of us. 
  " I can just assure you. Rest depends on you whether you trust me or not sir" Jay said and Abeer looked at me and then at him.
"Welcome to the family Jay" Abeer said standing up and I looked at him happily.
"You sure Sir" Jay asked
" Yes I'm and moreover stop calling me sir ! I'm not your Teacher!" Abeer said and I chuckled
"He's your brother in law Jay. Jiju " I told and he nodded.
  "Guys!! If your sentimental talks are over then please sit back and eat "Came Divya's voice who was hell irritated.

After dinner Jay was going when I stopped him and said him to stay here only ! He wasn't ready but once Abeer said he nodded.

I mean come on from last ten minutes I too was saying the same!!!

I and Abeer too came to our room and the first thing I did was to hug him tightly.

"I love you so much. Thankyou for believing him" I said kissing his cheek and he looked at me.    
"I believe you Meera!! And that's why I'm believing him" He told
"And I promise this time your belief won't break" I replied and he looked at me.
"I hope so" He said and hid his head in the crook of my neck.
"Are your knuckles hurting" I asked
"Not much" He replied
"I'll just change and come "  I told and he nodded.

I changed into my night suit and opened the door of walk in o find him standing resting his head on the wall near it.
"What happened Abeer! You need anything " I asked and he breathed and looked at me intently.
" You! I need you" He replied pulling me near him and kissed me carrying me to bed making the night more beautiful !!!
