Abeer's POV

She's just amazing!! The way she shouted at media and zipped their mouths in one go was just out of my imagination. And that was for me!! How happy and loved I was feeling at that time.
In the office too she was damn good. But Meera is always Meera !! Being friendly around employees is of no use !! Because they misuse it!!
Let me see how she change the history of bosses!!
Well, Abeer Malhotra!! Whom are you challenging ? She's the Meera who makes impossible also possible !!

See yourself you idiot !!!

I came to my office with Joseph!! George is with Meera now all the time. George is Joseph's best friend and I know him since last 20 years; the time since I know Joseph!!

My Meera is as safe as she would've been with Joseph !!
Everyone in my office was looking at me shocked and amused. I know the reason very well !!

Ah!! I feel proud to be her husband right now !!

"Good morning Sir " Came Mr. Sinha's voice
"Good morning" I said and he smiled
"My best wishes to madam" he said handing me a bouquet of flowers.
"Thankyou from her side" I smiled.
"Sir, Can I say you something" He asked and I nodded
"The videos and Photos of Paris were amazing." He said excited and I looked at him.

I knew they'll get viral!!!

"Thankyou and now come to the work back and tell me schedule for today" I said and he nodded telling me the same.

Don't know when time flew. After attending three meetings, a conference and a presentation I was free till eight thirty.

What she must be doing right now!!

Thinking this I called her.

No answer!!
I called again but again no answer!!
I sent messages to her but still there wasn't any reply!!

What has happened to her. Is she fine!!

It's first day of her office. She must be busy with some work. But I'm sure she'll call before nine.

I waited for some time and at nine I got out of my office to reach her office.

It's just twenty minutes away from my office.
"Pick Meera then home" I said Joseph and he nodded starting the car.

I called Meera.

The number you're trying to call is switched off. Please call again later!!

What the hell!!

I again called her!!
Same reply!!
Is she mad or what!!

I sent her some messages still no reply!!

Divya!!
I called Divya and unfortunately got same result!!!

God!! I just hope they are fine!! These girls!!!!

I sent few more messages to them and called them some more time but I got no reply!!

And now I'm getting panicked!! God!!

"Are we going to reach tomorrow Joseph " I asked irritated
"Sorry sir. But traffic" He replied and I sighed

Why aren't you answering Meera!! I just hope you are fine. Please call me back !!!

It took thirty minutes more then usual and those extra thiry minutes tensed me thirty thousands time more!!!

It's ten and still no reply.

I reached office and went directly to her floor.

Lights were on she was freaking taking my name!!

Wow!!! She saw all the calls and messages so early!!

Here I was worried like hell and she doesn't even care to atleast message me!!!

"He told you to be free till nine and call him and it's.." Divya was saying when I cut her off
"And it's ten" I completed angrily and Meera looked at Divya. Her back was facing me.
"Are you both mad" I shouted and they both flinched.
" Divya ! Being a personal secretary you should know when the schedule of your boss is going to be over !! " I gritted glaring her and she looked down.
" George will drop you home. You may go " I said and she looked at Meera
"Now Divya" I chided and she nodded.
After she went away I looked at her. Her back was still facing me.
"Turn Meera" I said still no response
"Meera!!!" I commanded and she turned hanging her head low.
" Where was your phone" I asked not wanting to shout!!
"It..was switched off and.. was in charging" She replied
"And before that !" I asked and she looked confused at me.

This is not the way to work!!
"I'll tell you. It was on silent mode! And you didn't even have time to just check your phone for once that someone is tensed for you since last three hours!!! You didn't care a bit ! And what an amazing maintainance. Wow!!! If you wanted to work more then you could've worked at home or even would've informed me. But no ! You want to give tension to me !And the cherry on the cake!!! Your amazing best friend also had her phone swtiched off !! You both are useless!! Like seriously Meera!! Behave like matured people. You know how last one hour went for me !! You've no idea how tensed I was !! You can't work like this loosing and forgetting everything !! Better don't work if you can't keep your phone on ! " I yelled and she looked down.

"Here !! Look at me when I talk " I demanded and she looked at me frowning.
"You're not going to work from tomorrow if you work like this" I ordered and she looked at me
"I'll. You can't stop me from working in my own company" she replied
"So it means you'll make the work priority now ! I'm no more your priority right ! " I asked
"Abeer !! You're taking it very wrong way " She said
"Then tell me the right way ! Promise me that you'll not work like this " I asked
"Abeer ! I can't promise something which can break" she replied
"It means you don't care about me" I told stepping back and she sighed
"Abeer !! Listen" She said when I cut her off!!
"I'm waiting for you in the car " I replied and left the cabin banging the door behind !!!

What am I to her ! A joke! I know what my condition was for last hour in the car !! And she don't care about it !! I don't say I never overwork but I always informed her about my whereabouts because I know she'll be tensed !! I know She'll cry and I can't see her like that !!

Shit!!
Damn it!!
She'll cry!!!!

I ran inside the cabin and I was right !! She was picking her things wiping her tears.

Fuck !! Why I can't control my anger !

"Meera!! " I called but she didn't even look at me

"Meera listen to me " I said again
"And what was I doing since last fifteen minutes Abeer Malhotra!! Wasn't I listening to only you" she shouted and I sighed
"I was angry Meera ! I was tensed for you" I said
"And that means you'll say anything in your anger! I don't care about you ! You're not my priority !! Like seriously Abeer !! You can accuse me on anything in you anger. I know it was my mistake that I couldn't tell you about my whereabouts but it doesn't mean that I don't care for you !" She said while crying and I went near her and hugged her while she was protesting.
"Go away" She yelled juggling to get out my hug!!

"I'm sorry !! I know I blurt anything in anger !! I'm an idiot" I said still hugging her but didn't get any response from her.

"Meera!! I'm sorry !! I don't know what happened to me ! I, I am afraid of.." I was going to say when she looked at me.
"Loosing me! " She asked and I nodded.
"Even if I'll ever be away from you, you'll never loose me! I reside there Abeer" She pointed towards left side of my chest
"And you here" She completed pointing towards her left side of chest.

" I love you and I'm sorry for behaving like a jerk again" I said and she looked at me.
"I too am sorry. I'll keep in mind next time but please next time don't say that I don't care about you or you're not my priority Abeer. You don't have a slight idea that what you mean to me ! Before anyone and anything in this world, you're important for me. You're my utmost priority that will never change" She whispered and I wiped her tears.
"I'm sorry. I always make you cry" I said kissing her forehead and she smiled.
"And I don't mind it till you're the one who wipes them away too!! " She replied and I smiled pulling her more near me.

"Abeer.." She glared and I smirked

"Repay for ten messages and thirteen missed calls wifey!! " I said and she chuckled.

Her lips came near mine and before I could taste my favorite dessert my phone rang.

" What the..." I cursed
"Stop swearing on everything Abeer" She warned and I looked at the phone.
"Yeah mom" I said
"Where are you Abeer!! Are you both alright!! Meera is also not home yet. It's 10:30 " She asked concerned.
"We both are alright mom and are at Meera's office. Don't worry. We'll reach in half an hour" I replied
"Come soon Abeer." She said concerned
"Mom! What happened ? Is everything alright" I asked
"You both just come home as early as possible "mom said
"Yeah!! We're" I said and cut the call.
"Abeer ! What happened. You look tensed" Meera asked
"Mom was tensed" I replied and she panicked "Is she alright!! Abeer please let's go home as soon as possible" She quavered and I nodded.

We went towards the lift and I pressed the button. For the whole time she was tapping her right leg. She do it when she's tensed. I held her hand and she looked at me.

"Don't worry ! Everything will be alright" I said squeezing her hand in assurance and she nodded.

We reached home as soon as possible and entered living room.
"Mom,dad are you alr.." I was going to ask when my eyes fell on something
"Mom.. Who..sent these" Meera whispered looking at the giant black rose bouquet in front of us.  
"Don't know. The security guard came and gave this saying that a delivery boy left this outside the mansion." Mom told 
"That's the reason we're tensed! It's Rajeev Kapoor or his son off course " Dad said fisting his hands.
"I'll not leave those bastards" I fumed
"No dad. This time it's not him" Meera spoke this time and we all looked at her.
"And how can you be so sure " I asked
"Because I've already received his gift" She said
"I didn't get you Meera " Mom asked and we nodded.
"In the morning today when I entered my cabin, the whole cabin was filled with bouquets. You sent me the red rose bouquet, you both sent me a Bonsai plant, Mom-dad sent me orchids and lilies and with them I received a bouquet of Petunia and aconites too from.. Rajeev Uncle" She said and I gritted my teeth.   
"Bastards!!" I Cursed
"Then who sent these black roses" Mom asked and I looked at Meera who went near the bouquet and touched the base of it from back !!

" Arhh!!" She cried in pain   
"Meera!! " I shouted and ran towards her.

She pressed her thumb with fingers when I looked at her hand !! The thorn of the plant prickled her thumb and blood was oozing out of it !
"Shit!! " I fretted and put her thumb in mouth trying to lessen the pain while she whimpered.
"Meera!! Are you okay!!" I asked after some minutes and she nodded
"I'm okay. Don't worry" She said
" What's in your hand " I asked and she showed me a piece of paper.

You know what it signifies right! You're still a bitch to me and you'll always be!!
I hope the thorn pricked you and remember that's me!! The thorn of your life!! You ruined my life!! I'll ruin yours!! You snatched what was mine and I'll snatch it back!!!

I wish you Death!!

My hands trembled reading this and I looked at Meera who looked at me!!

I wish you death !!

Chills ran down my spine even thinking that !!

"Mary!! Throw this out right now" I shouted and she came running and took the bouquet with her.

"Emma" Meera whispered and I looked shocked at her.
"What are you even saying" I asked
"You remember Abeer what she did that day in the launch" She asked and I nodded
"Will you both tell us what's going on! This isn't a small matter. Give me the paper." Dad commanded and I handed him the paper.

He looked at both of us shocked!!

"What happened on the day of launch" He asked and I narrated everything.
"And you think that's why she's doing this" dad asked when Meera denied.

"I.. I cancelled the Advertising contract of MCD car with her today" she said
"What!! Why?? " dad asked
"I can't tolerate her dad. Not at least after what she did that day.Can you imagine dad what could've happened if I would've believed her instead of Abeer!! Our relationship was just mending and it would've been on the verge of finishing! And moreover she's a bitch and I knew she'll not let me live in peace " She sniffed
"And you think now she'll let you live in peace" Mom spoke this time
"I.. I don't know mom. I'm ready to face her too if she tries to create complications between me and Abeer" She stated and I looked shocked at her.

Isn't she becoming my lady version!!

"We shouldn't take this lightly Meera. I know Emma! This time she'll not just sit like this. She'll definitely do something to harm you" I said
"I don't care Abeer" She replied
"But I do care Meera !!! Listen! You'll not leave the office without informing me ever understand" I demanded
"But Abeer.." She wanted to protest
"He's right this time Meera.Your safety is more important then anything else." Dad told this time and she nodded
"Okay now leave such morons. I have you all right!! That's it. Now tell me you both had dinner" she asked and mom nodded
"Come I'll serve you both" Mom said
"It's okay mom. Go and rest. I'll do that. And don't stress yourself please. Okay. " she said they nodded.
We bid them good night and then she looked at me.

" Go and change. I'll come with dinner " She said kissing my cheek and I nodded

I came to the room and took a cold shower!!

I'm not getting a very good feeling by this all !!

" Abeer!! How much time more " came her voice
I closed the tap and went outside wearing a towel around his waist!

" It took you long" she asked and I denied
"You freshened up !! " I asked
" Yeah! It was taking you long so used my old room" She replied and I nodded
"I'll be back in few minutes after changing " I replied and she nodded going out from walk in.

After changing into my T shirt and PJs I went outside only to see Meera taking the food tray to balcony.
I went there to see she has shifted the extra mattress and pillows on the balcony floor.
" We could've used the couch of the balcony " I said and she looked at me
" You wouldn't fit on that " she replied and I smiled
" I'll be back in second "She said and I nodded.

I stood there and gazed at the sky.

I wish you death!!

The only words ringing in my ear.

If something happens to Meera I swear I won't think twice before killing you Emma !!

Suddenly I felt two warm hands on my chest.

" Nothing will happen to me till you're with me" she whispered and I turned to her
"Meera !! You'll take care of yourself right. I can't bear to loose you." I whispered
" Feelings mutual Love ! I too can't bear to loose you. So don't worry. I'll take care of myself. And you tell me na, Why fear when Abeer is here" she mimicked and I smiled

I hid my face in the crook of her neck and she hugged me.

"Nothing will happen to me Abeer. I promise I'll not keep my phone off and I'll come and leave office with you and if it's very much important then you'll always know where I'm, with whom I'm and when I'll be back" she said and I sighed.
"That's what I want" I told kissing her forehead and all of a sudden her stomach grumbled.
"Shit" she cursed and I chuckled
"Food's calling" I said and she laughed

We had our dinner and were sleeping hugging each other in the balcony itself.

"I love you.. " She whispered and I smiled pulling her into a kiss.
" I love you too " I said planting soft kisses on her face.
" Be with me like this only" I said and she smiled
"Forever yours" She replied.

It's been one month after that incidenct. Thankfully Meera didn't receive anything like that. And honestly I'm impressed the way she's stuck to what she said.

She always leave mansion with me and comes back with me. If she has any meeting outside her office then she calls me or messages me to tell the same. And even if she's late she calls me and inform.
She didn't take Emma seriously but I know Emma's not going to stay quiet. Moreover that Rajeev Kapoor is also quiet since month and I'm not able to digest this thing at all!!

He's not the one to stay quiet!! I'm sure something big is running in his mind and I've to look into the matter.

This month was very hectic. And finally today my wife got time for me in the night too. Otherwise she would've been busy with her mac book and Bluetooth attending conferences or preparing presentations!!!

Yeah!! She has become more busy then me.
And no blames!! She has to put a lot more efforts and her efforts are clearly visible!! In just one month the shares of Kapoor industries have rose high!!

I so love this businesswoman too!!
Her dedication level is just outstanding and No doubts She's Meera!! Genes of Kapoors!!!

My trail of thoughts was broken by the sound of closet's knob.

The door opened and she came out in her T-shirt and shorts!!

"Want to kill me by looks" I asked and she chuckled coming and sat beside me on bed and laid down putting her head in my lap!!

This has become her habit in this month!!

"So, finally free and having time for husband" I asked caressing her hairs
"What free Abeer !! Dad called today!! I've to go New York" she replied frowning
"What. But.. " I was saying before which I got call.
" Hello" I picked irritated
"Sir, sorry to disturb you at this time,but it's urgent" came Patrick's voice
"What happened Patrick " I asked
" Sir, we were handling the deal with Simmons but they told that they need you here anyhow. I tried convincing them but they're calling off the deal if you're not present during it" he said and I smirked looking at Meera
"Patrick. It's a God's sign" I chuckled
" I didn't understand sir" He replied
"I'm leaving for NY tomorrow Patrick " I said and Meera looked at me shocked
" OK sir. I'll tell home staff to be on duty tomorrow and clean the mansion before you reach" Patrick said and I smiled
"Sure Patrick. Thank you. See you soon." I told and hanged up
"What you said you're going NY tomorrow. You can't pause your work here just for my sake Abeer" Meera whined standing up
"Oh hello! I'm not that mad Mrs. Malhotra that for the sake of your one project I'll leave my work here. It's that I'm needed urgently in NY because Simmons are not ready to even see the presentation without me" I told her and she looked at me
"Abeeer!!! Same pinchhh" she jumped like a kid on bed
"Whoa!! What happened "I asked
" These Simmons!! They aren't ready to sign off the deal with Kapoors too without CEO. You know Mrs. Charlotte Simmons herself attend each and every meeting and that's why she wants that each CEO should be present while cracking the deal with her" she said and I nodded
"So basically we're going to meet same person at different times" I told and she nodded

" Kapoors have signed many deals with Simmons in past too so I can't even deny to go" She told
  "And since this is just second time we're putting our hands in Jewellery we've to be in good terms with her" I told
"She's a jolly lady. Mom knows her" She told and I nodded
"So it means we're going NY tomorrow " I declared and she looked at me for a second and then nodded smiling
"I thought I'll spend my night peacefully with you but no one let me leave in peace" I groaned and she chuckled kissing my cheek
"Aah ahhh!! Not this one baby. Compensation with full interest " I said and pulled her into a kiss.

She responded with equal passion and love.

We broke the kiss when we were out of air!!

" I love you" I said pecking her lips and she smiled hugging me
"I love you tooo" She replied and closed her eyes.

Don't know when sleep engulfed both of us!!
