Meera's POV

And finally I'm going to my office!! Abeer was sitting beside me holding my hand!!

"You're looking very beautiful. I mean it dosen't look as if you're the same Meera who used to roam around in Kurties, shorts,palazzos" He said and I chuckled
" You'll get used to it now" I replied
" So!! First day! What's the plan" he asked
" First of all addressing the staff and then meeting the heads of every department. Then reviewing the deals that are pending and then.." I was saying when he cut me off
" That's it ! You can't do everything in one day. So don't exaggrate yourself on the first day" He told and I nodded.
Soon we reached office and I stepped out !!
As soon as we stepped out the media surrounded us!
" Damn" I cursed and Abeer looked at Joseph and George.

All the bodyguards surrounded us from all sides.

"Mr.Malhotra!! This news has spread today morning as fast as viral!! What you will say on this" Asked a reporter
"Where you were these all years Meera Kapoor. Why didn't you come in front of the world" Asked another.

 Abeer held my hand tightly and  we walked towards the gate.

" Mr.Abeer Malhotra,is that the reason you married her. After all she's today the richest person of Europe and you of Asia" shouted one of the reporter and I stopped .

" Meera!! Don't !! They're useless!" Abeer said but I turned to that reporter.

" Why did he married me or I married him is none of your concern. You might  not understand the meaning of something called love and I pity you that you don't !! He too didn't know anything when he married me still loved me as Meera!! Not as Meera Kapoor but you people will not understand it because you want a gossip from our lives and I'm really sorry that you won't get anything from here that will raise the TRP of your channels. So now you may get lost" I growled and everyone looked shocked and a bit with fear at me.

Yeah!! It included  Abeer too!!

But he looked more amused!!

We went straight inside the office and as soon as we entered each and every staff member stood up from their seat wishing good morning! 

"Good morning madam" came a voice and I turned back smiling.
" And she looks perfect " I whispered to Abeer and he chuckled.
I looked around and everyone was looking at me as if I'm a ghost!!

" Take your seats everyone!!" I announced.

" So for the first time in life on time!! " I said to Divya and she smiled.
" Abeer! " I whispered calling him towards podium.
" Go!!  Its your call" He said and I smiled going to the podium.

" A very good morning everyone. I'm Meera Kapoor Malhotra! Your new CEO!! I know you all must be thinking very much that how all of a sudden a Meera Kapoor came in sight who died ten years before and what she's doing here now!! So everything has reasons and my dad wanted to provide me the safest environment so it had to happen. Now the thing is I'm your CEO and it will not change even if you like or not !!I know all of a sudden if a position is taken off by someone else it takes a bit time to adjust but trust me I want a very friendly environment in my each office and each branch. Moreover Mumbai is head office of K. Empire now so responsibilities increases. So I'll try keeping the atmosphere light and friendly till you're reciprocating the same being in your limits!! The day I see opposite of it..I'll make sure that employee really regret it !! Don't think I'm a Hitler!! I'm not " I said looking at Abeer and he chuckled looking down !!

"So guys!! Work hard and smart!! Give your more then hundred percent to the work. No time pass when working. And other then this time you'll not find Meera Malhotra!! You'll find Meera who's just like you!! " I said and everyone looked at me nodding.

"So!! Are you with me in making Kapoor Empire rise more high and high" I asked
"Yes madam" Came all the voices and I smiled.

I'm  really not that bad at addressing!!

"So back to work people. But before that I want some people in my cabin in five minutes " I announced and everyone nodded

"The senior corporate communicator, head of the intellectual property, head of campus resourcing and employer branding, senior team lead of corporate strategy, senior  sustainability manager, senior manufacturing heads and tech head,  IT team leaders, head of digital team design centers and head of chemical centers and rest heads of other departments.
Everyone in my cabin in five minutes. Thankyou You may continue your works" I announced and everyone went to their places.

I walked down towards Abeer and Divya who were smiling at me.

"You rocked it love" he said and I smiled
"Abeer!  I think I'll manage here. You should go." I told confidentially and he smiled.
"Yes. I can sense that. But what was that friendly and all!! You know you can't be a boss if you're friendly with your employees. That's history " he said
"If that's true then I'll change history" I smirked
"No one can win from you. Both of you take care okay " He said looking at Divya and me and we smiled.

That's my love!! Cares not only about me but my loved ones too!!!

"Bye. Je'taime. And anyhow be free before nine okay. I'll pick you both by then.  " he said kissing my cheek and I smiled
"Bye. Je'taime Aussie " I replied

After he went away I looked at Divya smirking.

"Want to make my male employees drool over you" I chuckled and she laughed
"Not more then you but you know everyone knows you're taken by someone who'll beat them up if they try on you so no one would dare to look at you madam and now you're boss too" she said and I smiled
"That hulk will eat them raw if they try and you bitch stop calling me madam" I said

"Ok madam. Ah! By the way what was that.. je taime " she asked and I blushed
"I love you in French " I replied
"Awe. How romantic. I too wish for someone who would pamper me like Abeer pampers you" She replied and I laughed
"Hope you get someone soon babe" I told as we both moved towards the private lift that opens directly on my floor.

51st floor!!!

" Dev uncle told me about Rajeev Kapoor" She whispered and I stopped in midtrack.
"I'm there with you Meeru ! I'll kill him and his son if they come in my sight ever" She said angrily and I held her hand.
"We'll surely but I don't want to just kill him without any pain. I want them to suffer ! Rot in jail" I sneered
"Meera !! Right now let's go !! We've much work" She said and I nodded entering the cabin.
As soon as I entered the cabin there were so many bouquets.

"Oh my god. The whole cabin is occupied with these. There's no place to even move. Mrs.Meera not bad !!! Congraatulationss" Divya squeaked happily and I chuckled.

"Call office help and ask them to pick them and arrange them anywhere else" I said Divya and she nodded.
The office help came and one by one took all the bouquets out.
"Wait!!" I exclaimed
"What happened Meera"Divya asked.

I didn't say anything and went near some bouquets. I took the orchid and lilies of the valley bouquets.

"Dad! Mom!" I whispered as a tear rolled down my cheek.
"Meera.." Divya held my shoulder
" They can never forget what I like. When I was small, I loved lilies of Valley and these orchids so much. And see they sent the same." I whispered smiling and she nodded.
I took out the small card from that and read it. 

God bless you Princess!! Rise high and high!! We're always there with you!! 

I smiled reading that.

"I want to meet them as soon as possible" She said
"And they'll love you" I replied and she smiled 

I took one more gift out of them. It was a bonsai plant.

Wish you prosperity, good luck and achievements Doll!

"Dev uncle and aunty" Divya grinned and I nodded keeping the Plant on my table.

"And give me that red rose bouquet too !! " I said blushing and Divya chuckled
"Someone's blushing seeing the roses" She teased and I smiled picking the card with the bunch !   

I love you so much Wifey ! Congratulations!!  

"Whoa Meera!! 27 red roses!! You know I read somewhere that gifting 27 red roses means showing your wife the immense love you feel for her!! God !! Abeer is so romantic " Divya exclaimed and I nodded  smiling
"Don't take them away. Let these three be here only" I told and he nodded. 
"Uncle wait!!" Divya shouted and I looked at her
"Divi!! What happened" I asked
"Do you like these too" She asked and I looked in the direction her eyes were pointing.

It was Petunia and Aconites flower bouquet.

Flowers that symbolizes hate and anger!!

" I know who's this" I whispered and she looked at me.
"Throw it out now" Divya said to office help when I stopped.
"Go"I said and he nodded going away.
"Meera but.."She was going to say when I cut her off.
"Let it be here.This will never let me forget that there's someone whom I too hate the most just like they hate me!! Rajeev Uncle and Jay!! I'll not spare you both !! " I cursed .

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"In"I commanded sitting in my chair and soon head of every department was there.
"Hello everyone. Glad to meet you all. First of all I would like to make you all meet my PS Divya Sharma. From today onwards my all the meetings, conferences,  schedule, etc all will be seen by her and before contacting me all should contact her. She's by fault my best friend too" I said and everyone chuckled.
"So that was introducing her with you all and now you all can tell her tomorrow's details so that she can make a schedule for me. Moreover dad's PA will guide her for rest. Now coming to you all.First of all thankyou very much for shifting India all of a sudden from Paris. I know it was really quite fast but was necessary. You all work very hard for our company and I want you all to maintain that. But! There are sudden changes that I would like to make!! Who's working directly under you." I asked  Mr. Reddy, the Executive head of Accounts
"Mr. Anthony" He replied
 "I would want to meet him as soon as possible" I dictated and he nodded
 "He's in Paris madam. Will be there till tomorrow"he replied and I nodded
 "Every decision that was taken by you all went to whom firstly" I asked
 "Some to Mr.Kapoor himself and when he was busy then to Mr.Rajeev " One of them replied and I looked at them.
"From today, now onwards each and every decision taken by you all will pass to either me , Divya or dad. No one else!! Is that clear" I asked and they all looked at each other
"But madam,"They wanted to say when I looked at them

"Am I clear!!" I thundered and they all nodded their heads.

"Good for you all. And let me clear myself on the very first day!! Ever if I find someone cheating on the Kapoor Empire, I'll surely sew him or her without thinking twice. I'm very good when I'm good and once I'm bad ,I'm worst. Keep that in your heads and fix that in the heads of employees working under you all. Everyone may go except the account head, Advertising head and automobile sector head" I commanded and they nodded going.

Mr. Arora glad to know that you were head of MCD car from our side."  I complimented and he smiled
"Thankyou madam. But the whole idea and model was of Mr.Malhotra. We just helped from our side " He said
"Yeah, and that bit includes much and I know that. It's hitting the market amazingly. So congratulations. Your team and Mr.Malhotra's team did a great work" I told and he smiled
"Thankyou mam. We'll give our best in next upcoming projects" He replied

"I want that only. We've upcoming six projects with six different companies across the globe and I want you and your whole team to give best. If we want to recruit some innovative minds then do that. Rest you know the work. But yes!! Before starting to work on anyone of them I want all the details before anyone else. Clear!!" I asked and he nodded

"You may go!! " I announced and he nodded going away. 

"Ms. Nicholsan. You're executive advertising  head. Which work was your last" I asked "advertising for the Platinum collection of our Infinity Jewels. " She replied
"And before that" I asked
"MCD"She replied
"Who's advertising model for later " I asked
"It's Emma Ahuja" She replied and I clenched my fists at her name!!
"And didn't you find someone else" I asked and she looked shocked at me.
 "Change the model " I said
 "But madam" She was going to say when I glared her
" I hate to repeat " I said and she nodded looking down.

Yeah!!  I learnt this from him!!!!

"Madam contract?" She asked
" I don't want her to be anywhere near MCD. That's it ! You may go now" I commanded and she nodded going away.
 "Personal grudges!" Divya whispered and I nodded 
" Someone needed to pay for crossing their limits in front of my husband" I replied in her ear and she smirked !! 

"How are you Reddy uncle" I asked
"I'm good madam. How are you. So happy to see you  again.  " He said
"Who's madam here uncle. I'm Princess for you right and I'm good uncle. Thanks for giving me the copies of important files all these years" I thanked and he smiled
"It was my duty"He replied
 "I wanted to discuss something very important. Please have a seat" I said and he nodded sitting "Reddy uncle. You're dad's very old friend and working for K.Empire from the day it was established. And there are very few people whom I can trust and it includes you" I told and he nodded
" Sure princess." he replied
" There are some transactions that are being done inappropriately. I want to know all the details of that till tomorrow. No one else should know about it. Not even your team because there are high chances of Anthony being included in all this. So only you've to do this. Take even two days but I want smallest details. Okay" I told and he nodded
"Will be on your desk in two days" he replied and I nodded smiling
"Uncle ! Didn't you ever paid attention to this thing" I asked
"I'm sorry princess but if you're right about Anthony then it will be my fault to choose him to work directly under me." He said hanging his head low
"And who suggested this to you" I asked
"Rajeev Sir " He replied and I looked at Divya
" I knew it !!" She hissed
"Anything wrong madam" he asked
"Uncle. You know half the thing. But now you've to keep one thing in mind. Not to believe Rajeev Kapoor" I said
 "But,why"He asked
" He's a traitor. One to attack me and dad " I whispered and he gasped
"Oh! Now I understand that's the reason he and his son didn't know that you're alive" He said and I nodded
"And Anthony might work for him" He added further
"Yes! So I want every detail in two days " I said and he nodded
"For sure" he replied and I nodded

"How's aunty !! I miss her masala dosa and Rasam rice very much." I said and he smiled
" She missed you so much and right now not talking to me because I didn't tell her about you being alive for these years. She cried very much when she heard about your fake accident and she did the same yesterday when I told her everything on the way to Mumbai" He told and I smiled
"Don't worry ! I'll make it up to her by coming home" I replied and he smiled
"I'll take your leave now." he said standing up and I nodded.

After he went away I looked at Divya !!

"This is all so messed up. You know I'm sure Abeer will kill Rajeev Kapoor and his son if they come in his sight" She said and I sighed
 "And that's why I don't want them to encounter with each other badly." I replied
"Meera!! What about his wife. I mean your aunty" She asked
" She died when I was two. At the time Jay was born. She was very good you know. Very different from these both " I replied sadly. 

She and mom were just like sisters !! That's what I say ! Blood relations are not everything !!

"I loved Jay very much !! He was always my best baby brother!! But he betrayed me just at the age of eleven. He was the one to take me to that dark black underground place! I'll never talk to him. He's just like his dad. Traitor" I said angrily as tear spilled out of my eyes

"Hey!! Meeru!! Don't cry please!! See it's two pm. Let's grab our lunch. Mom made Fruit cream for you" She said and  I smiled
" Then what we're waiting for. Come" I said and we had our lunch.

After lunch I again got busy with some files and presentation while Divya was busy preparing my tomorrow's schedule while talking to dad's PA and other staff members.

 "Madam may I come in" Asked Ms. Nicholsan 
"Yes" I replied
"Madam, The contract with Emma Ahuja have been dismissed by paying her the compensation. It was written in the contract which we signed with her that if their comes any issue then we have legal rights to do so. She shouted a lot on phone but we said that it's strict order from you"
She told and I smirked
"Thanks a lot. Now choose a model who's more good and with less attitude" I said and she smiled nodding.
"She really had a lot of attitude mam. We dealt with her with utmost difficulty and madam.." She was saying but stopped hesitantly
"What happened" I asked
 "She was shouting on phone saying, she'll, not leave you" She told
"Let her ramble. I don't care" I said
"Madam,any personal grudges ?" She asked
 "Thankyou Ms. Nicholsan. You may go" I commanded and she nodded going away !!   

Time was running like a Cheetah. It was ten in the night.

"Meera !! Everyone has gone as you said them to leave. And now I think we should also leave. Even receptionist have also left. It's ten" Divya said
"It'll take me some more time. You go ! George will drop you home" I told still engrossed in work.
"As if I'm going to leave you alone. Come on Meera you can't do everything in one day. We're late. Even Abeer must have told you many times till now" She said and I looked at her

"Shit!!!!" I stood up and checked my phone.
"Battery dead!! I'm gone" I cried
"What happened Meera" Divya asked
" Phone!! Where's your phone " I asked
"In my poc.."She was saying when she looked at me
"Shit !! It was in charging before two hours and I forget it there only" She said and I put my hand on forehead
"We're gone Divyaa!!!! Bring your phone fast" I quavered and she nodded running out towards her cabin meanwhile I plugged my charger in.

"Meera!!! 10 missed calls from Abeer!! " She said horrified and I switched on my phone to get ten messages and 13 missed calls from him !!

"He told you to be free till nine and call him and it's.." She was saying

"And it's ten" came a thunderous voice and I looked at Divya horrified .

  I AM DEAD TODAY !!!!

Hola guys!! Hope you all are doing amazing!! So first day of Meera as CEO😁 She's no less then lady Hitler when it comes to strictness right!!!😅 Well I personally loved this version of our Meera !! Hope you too😊 !!

But ! What was at the end!!  She's really gone!!!!😅😅😂
