Meera's POV

And I was at my mansion. My most favorite place in the world. It didn't change a bit. My rooms were still same. The things were at the same places as I left them. I was in my room and tears were not ready to stop.
"Honeybun. Please stop crying " Abeer said but I wasn't able too. "Honeybun..let me take away all your pain and tears" he said breaking the hug and slowly kissed my lips.
For seconds I wasn't able to respond and he looked at her breaking the kiss.
"Meera.." he whispered sweetly and that's enough for me to kiss him and let my all pain go away. Yes!! His kiss only have this power!! I experienced this last night.
I tiptoed myself as a tear rolled down my cheek and with that I slammed my lips on his. He poured all his love and care in the kiss and on the other hand I poured all my love and pain in the kiss.

And he took away all my pain and tears.

"Honeybun, you okay now" he asked wiping my last tear and I smiled.
"When you take away sorrows like this then how can't I be okay" I Said and he kissed my forehead.
"Meera,how much time child. Your snacks are getting cold" came mom's voice
"Will be back in minutes mumma" I replied
"Your suitcase is there. Freshen up. I'll see you in ten minutes" I said pecking his lips and he smiled.
"Meera, I wanna really have cold shower. Where's bathroom" He asked and I nodded taking him inside the walk in door.
"damn!! It's your walk in"he shouted and I looked around.
I too wasn't shocked will be an understatement.
"Holy.. arrghh!! Mom won't change!!" I sighed and Abeer laughed.
"Finallyy!!! this exactly describes the wife of Abeer Malhotra and off course daugther of Aditya Kapoor!! " He said and I frowned.
"And I can't wear these much clothes and shoes and these accessories in seven births. Mom is just too much. Even if she knows I'm here just for two days,she has filled the two floors like I'm going to live here from now!!! I was so happy with my small walk in in India. Look at this it looks as if its your walk in" I said and he smiled
"Their daughter is back Meera,won't they pamper their daughter with everything they can do and now your walk in in India too is going to change and no denials in that" He asked and I smiled nodding.
"Now go otherwise this time dad will come and throw us outside the room"I said and he laughed going inside.
I took out a comfortable top, jeans and a coat. It's still cold in early spring here. I got ready and walked back to room to only to see this man busy with his laptop.
"Mr.Workoholic shall we" I asked and he looked at me.
"You just move downstairs. I'll be there in ten minutes" he said and I sighed nodding.
I took lift and went downstairs to see mom and dad sitting in living room.
"Mumma.."I squeaked
"so..finally she's here"mom said and I chuckled
"Where's Abeer"dad asked while I laid in his lap.
"Busy with some work,will come in some minutes" I said and they nodded
"Mom.macarons" I asked as I can smell fruit berry macarons. She nodded smiling and I jumped and out from the couch and hugged her.
"I so missed these from your hands mommyyy"I shouted in joy and she chuckled
"And I want to taste them as I can smell the caramel too "came a voice and I looked behind to find Abeer.
He was wearing a white shirt with denim jeans and a casual blazer. He looks hell handsome in everything he wear.
"Yes Abeer. Just come." mom said and he came while homestaff came with a tray having coffee and macarons.
I so love them and my mouth started watering seeing them.

"Your first love"Abeer whispered and I chuckled
"No doubt in that" I said and we ate macarons and spend time with mom and dad. I was so surprised when I noticed that our most of the homestaff was still same.

Suddenly I remembered something and I stood upmoving away!
"Princess! Where are you going" dad asked and I smiled

"To something which I didn't touch for 10 years" I replied and went towards ball room ! I looked at the Piano and sat on the chair! Looking back I saw all three of them standing there!
"She plays beautiful Abeer! Did you ever heard her playing piano" dad asked Abeer
" I would love to hear it today" He replied and I smiled wiping my tears and started playing it for my Abeer but stopped in seconds!
"What happened baby" Mom asked and I looked at Abeer who was standing there with his hands in the pockets of his trousers.
 "You know right I'm a bad singer! Will you sing on my behalf" I asked and he smiled coming near me!
"Which song"He asked and I smiled saying nothing and started playing again looking at him while his smile widened!

I looked at Abeer who was already looking at me and his eyes were glistening.

I can't play something more then this. This depicts my all love for you Abeer!!

I completed and looked at him while he turned wiping his tears and I wiped my tears!
"You never told that you're such a pro in playing piano" He asked and I smiled
"But I know you're pro in singing" I grinned and he kissed my forehead!
 "It was very amazing! I loved it very very much" He said and I hugged him!
 "It was very amazing princess! Just the way you used to play! This piano craved for your fingers on it!" Dad said and I smiled while mom kissed my cheek wiping her own tears !
 "Okay now I am hungry!!" I announced and everyone chuckled !

Today we didn't talk anything about Rajeev uncle or anything. We just spent our happy family time. We did our dinner at some hwhat 11 and sat in living room because my amazing mom and dad were hell interested to know how love blossomed between us.

Abeer told them everything!!

Yes,everything!! Whatever happened in NY too and dad really glared him angrily.

"I don't really know what she's loving in you Mr.Abeer Malhotra after you did that" dad said frowning
"I said I'm sorry Mr. Kapoor" Abeer said looking at him now pissed off!!!

Emm, I'll not say anything in between because dad loves me much more to imagine that and as of Abeer if someone says you same thing in every ten minutes then you'll surely be pissed off!!!

I looked at mom for help and she nodded.
"Meera, why don't you take Abeer to your secret place" Mom said and I smiled at her
"Yes Abeer,come"I said pulling him towards the front door.
"Meera,wait" Dad said and I looked at him while he was looking at Abeer.

Not again please god!!!!

" Whatever you did was off course wrong and maybe I'll say this every ten minutes,still when I look at you both I'm assured that you can do anything to protect her. My daughter is in safe hands" dad said and I smiled
" Dad, I know I've been stubborn but I love your daughter. I'll not say more then you but off course not even a bit less then you. I'll not let her happen anything,ever" Abeer said dad and I looked at both of them smiling.
"And now don't tell me you're taking me to eat desserts" he said looking at me and I chuckled.
" No, just come with me" I whined and we went outside.
"Mommy we'll be late. So just don't wait for us. I hope security pin to enter have not changed" I asked and dad chuckled.
" Not at all" Dad replied
 "Mom,dad. If you don't mind can we go to my penthouse. I promise we'll be back at seven tomorrow" Abeer said and dad nodded.
"Okay but be aware. You know right" Dad said Abeer and he smirked.

" Mr.Kapoor, it was nice to spend a pleasant evening with you both. We'll take your leave now to go to my penthouse" Abeer said and we all chuckled.
"Oh! Mr and Mrs.Malhotra hoping to see you soon" mom said dramatically and I chuckled
"What mom. Stop being so dramatic" I said and we all laughed.

We bid them bye and Joseph was already there.

"Where Sir"he asked and I laughed
"Your sir isn't aware of that" I said and he nodded
"Where mam" he asked and I smirked
"Give the car keys" I told Joseph and he looked at Abeer who nodded. He gave the keys to me and I glared Joseph.
" As if he would've refused and I would've agreed. I'll complain about you to dad in India Joseph that you don't listen to me" I said and he smiled lowly to which I laughed.

" You look great when you smile Joseph. Try this on girls" I said and Abeer chuckled
"Done giving advices then shall we" Abeer asked and I Nodded sitting on the driver seat and Abeer beside me. I looked at my back and front and sighed. Four cars were surrounding us.
" Let's go" he said and I nodded.
I started the engine and soon we were on main streets of Paris. Night life in Paris is much more beautiful then Day. And here comes my place to find serenity. Saint louis island.

I parked the car away from the banks of Seine River and we came out.

"Wow,it's beautiful" Abeer exclaimed and I smiled.

The darkness of night fading away with moonlight and the street lights were making the Seine look more beautiful.

"I loved this spot from start. I used to come here with Dad at these times only. Late nights. We used to come,sit there under that tree" I said pointing to the tree on the banks.
"Want to join me there" I asked and he smiled nodding.
"You know I also have a place like this in NY. Just me and Advik know that. Since our childhood it was our spot.Whenever we wanted to talk something important ,or we were sad or when we wanted to spend alone time we used to go there." He said and I smiled.
"Which place"I asked "Eastern banks of Hudson"He said and I smiled nodding.
"That day you went to meet Advik there only right" I asked remembering the day when he went to talk about our divorce.
"Yes and I told him that I realized how much I love you" He said and I smiled

Joseph and all other bodyguards stood there only. There was no one else then us .We went there and sat under the tree.
"So, it's your and dad's place" he asked and I smiled
"I and dad used to come here for our personal time you know. Where we used to talk about everything. How I got less marks in maths or good marks in french,or how in the midnight one day I secretly ate the whole tub of ice cream and next day lied mom about ending up with sore throat due to very low AC temperature. Or how he forgot to come home early on mom's birthday and he had to repay her by taking her on date with I'm sorry written on the car's back" I said and he laughed
"That was really hilarious. Mom rocked" he said laughing and I smiled.
"You know once my maths teacher scolded me in front of the whole class and then dad came to knew something's wrong with me so he took me here. And then I cried telling him how he scolded me without my mistake" I said frowning remembering that day.

"What.How dare he scold you" He said gritting his teeth and I chuckled.

"Dad's words were same and you know what.. next day dad came to school and talked to him saying how he didn't listen the whole thing and scolded me. Then you know he said me sorry in front of dean " I said giggling and he laughed
"So basically this place have all your memories" He asked and I nodded
"All till that day. Last time I came here was the same day I ran way from hospital, mom saved me and was taking me to India with her .That was the last day I came here with dad. " I whispered as a tear rolled down my eye.
"That day Dad told me everything about him. His life, the Kapoor empire, it's existence ,Rajeev Uncle..everything" I whispered looking at him and he held my hand tightly.

10 YEARS AGO

I was sitting under the tree with dad holding my hand. I was terrified with what happened just yesterday and today with me. I would've died today if Aditi aunty wouldn't have saved me .
"Dad, you always said bodyguards are to protect us." I said looking at him
"Yes. I still say they're princess. But when your own people are behind your life then say what to do" Dad asked and I looked at him
"Those who stab you aren't family.. you said that" I said and dad nodded
"Exactly... and we're surrounded by some such people. Back stabbers" dad said and I looked at him
"You know who he's dad!! " I asked shocked
"Rajeev.. " he whispered and I gasped.
"Uncle.. " I said and he nodded
"You know Meera..everyone wants a son in their life. A son whom the parents would raise with all the pamperings so that after growing they'll take their throne and will rule their kingdom. But I and your mom always wanted a girl. A sweet baby girl. Kapoor empire wasn't built in some days or months. It took years to built.Your grandpa was the one to make it with a very small business and before his death he assigned me the duty of making Kapoor's name come into the existence of world. I was twenty three then. I tried very hard. I and your mom poured our days and nights to built first successful name in France. It was some three years after your grandpa passed away we were one of the leading industry in France. Rajeev uncle was always there but never paid any attention to it. Still I knew he's my brother and that's why I made him one of the board members. He still didn't pay attention till that time.When people slowly started talking about Kapoor industries he became conscious. He had his own greed.The greed of money,properties name and fame. I wanted to expand our business in more directions. We put our hands in other industries too and after five years Kapoor Empire was built. We were one of the leading automobile industries of this world. And I know the reason of this...You were going to come into existence my baby. We cracked a deal with US internationals and the same day Neeta gave me the good news. It was you who was growing inside her womb and our business growing outside. When you were born i.e. on second of April we were leading the automobile world and were leading the whole Europe. You were and you're my good luck my doll" He said and I frowned
"No. It were your hardcore efforts dad that you and mom put. Not me " I said and he chuckled. "You're."He replied
"Then,what happened" I asked
"Rajeev didn't say anything till you just entered thirteen. He always thought that you'll not be able to run such a great business which is expanded in whole world. So once he thought to ask me the same. He said me how he'll maintain the same position after I'll quit the job of CEO and he'll take my position. But that's when I told him that you'll take my position. My daughter will rule my kingdom. He told me that how a girl can rule such a big kingdom but I didn't care. I knew you have genes of your mom and dad and you're best for this. I wanted you to prove that girls are no less then man in business field.That's when everything changed. I was once or twice attacked. I didn't have slight idea who did that. I thought it might be some business rival but your mom didn't sit quiet. She hired the best undercover detective and he came with proves that Rajeev was the one behind this. I couldn't believe it that my own brother would do anything like this. But before we could prove anything we found the detective did suicide and all the proves against Rajeev vanished" Dad said and I gasped putting my hands on mouth.

"He..tried killing you..Dad you never told me.Why?"I asked as tear left my eye and he caressed my hairs lightly.
"I thought he'll not do anything after I made my will" He said and I looked at him.
"What was written in that" I asked
"It stated that if I die before you become CEO of Kapoor Empire other then any natural death then my whole property will be passed on to charity" Dad said and I nodded
"And that's why he couldn't kill you and he aimed me because I was the one who would be the CEO ultimately." I said and he nodded
"My personal bodyguard didn't let me happen anything ever. Your personal bodyguard was working for us since just three years and he betrayed us for just some more money given to him. You couldn't understand this because Rajeev always played from backfoot and from infront was showing as if no one more then him cares about us. He was the one to kidnap you too " Dad said as tears rolled down my eyes.

"when you knew about him why didn't you tell police" I asked

"He's very clever Meera. We didn't have any proof against him. That's why you know we didn't let you go anywhere out of the mansion because it's the safest place for you." Dad said and I Hugged him.
"Princess,you're going away from me now..for ten years you know and it's only for you. I know here you'll not be safe now. You're small, innocent and you don't understand this world. You've to go away from here. Complete your studies and have to be safe"dad said and I denied

"I'll be safe here. I'll not go out of mansion dad but don't send me away from you and mom" I said crying and he wiped my tears.
 "Meera,I don't want you to be a caged bird ever. You're a free bird and if a free bird is caged they die from inside. You've to take my position. You've to be the ruler of Kapoor Empire. I and your mom want to see you sitting on my place. It's our dream Doll. Will you Promise me Meera, you will make this only dream of your dad and mom come true" He asked as his voice became heavy and I nodded wiping my tears.
"I promise dad. I promise to make your dream come true and I promise I'll not leave Rajeev uncle. He'll repay for everything he did. I'll make him rot in jail forever. I promise " I said taking his hand in mine.
"Meera,one more promise, You'll not let anyone get to know who you're.You'll not reveal your real identity till you're twenty four. The age in which you'll become CEO. Till then no one, No one means no one other then Dev and Aditi will know who you're and who your parents are." he said
"Pinky promise"I said and he chuckled
"Meera, you're going India. Our country. You've never seen India right. Go there,you'll love India." he said while I sobbed.
"You're my strong child right. No crying. Make them cry who do wrong with you. Be like your mom. A strong lady who can do anything for the people whom she loves and will not spare people who try to mess with her." He said and I nodded

"One more thing Meera..never let anyone hurt your self respect. The most important thing in this world is your self respect. If your self respect is snatched from you,you die from inside. You become a body without soul. Never ever let anyone take your self respect away from you. It's either you or the person in front." Dad told and I nodded
" You'll not talk with me now" I asked
"we'll not be able to. I said right Rajeev is very clever. We'll show an accident though in which we'll prove that you died in an accident but we've to make that man believe this. We'll still be in touch. Malhotra industries is associated with us in business too!! Dev is one of our board member also. We'll talk once in month. This way if our call is traced then too no one will come to know because the number will be registered from Dev's name."Dad said and I nodded

"Dev uncle and Aditi aunty are very good Meera. They'll treat you like your own daughter. And Meera,always remember today someone has put their life in danger just for saving you.And you and we owe to them for lifetime." Dad said and I nodded
"Yes dad,Aditi aunty and Dev uncle have saved me today and I'll never be able to repay them but I promise I will do anything for them. If someday I've to choose between myself and them I without thinking twice will choose them." I said and he nodded smiling
"From today you've someone else on the place of your parents. Your Aditi aunty will be step above from your mom now and Dev uncle will be step above from me for you. I know you'll always respect them and trust me they both are just amazing. You'll like their company" Dad said and I nodded
" Dad,are they alone there"I asked
"They have their son Abeer. They live in NY Meera but just for you they're going to Mumbai. They're sacrificing for you then always remember if they need you someday sacrifice anything for them." he told and I hummed.
"This is the last time I'm meeting you princess. Now I'll meet you after you're 24. I'll meet The CEO of Kapoor Empire. CEO Meera Kapoor !!! " Dad said kissing my forehead and I nodded
"I'll not disappoint you ever dad" I promised and he smiled
"I know. My princess can never do something which will disappoint anyone. Remember Meera just till 24 then you'll be here back as CEO and we'll surely send Rajeev behind bars" he said

 "Dad,you too have to promise me one thing. You'll take care of yourself and mom. You'll not do anything which may harm you in any way. Promise me" I said forwarding my little finger and he shook his smallest finger with mine.
"Pinky promise"He replied smiling and I hugged him crying.
"I'll miss you and mom very much"I sobbed
"You'll have mom and dad there" He said and I sobbed more
"Your mom and dad love you Meera. You're our life. Keep yourself safe princess" he said and I nodded
"And if you find someone who makes you your queen then do tell Aditi and Dev. They'll help you" Dad said and I frowned
"Dad..you." I whined and he chuckled
"You'll get a prince who'll make the princess of this king his queen" He said
"Don't you think dads don't behave like this. " I asked and he smiled
"I won't be there when you'll be making your first boyfriend in high school "dad said and I frowned
"I won't. I'll not do anything like that when I know I'll not be able to answer someone who'll ask me who I am. Won't I be lying him" I said and he hugged me.
"You're copy of your mom you know" Dad whispered and I smiled .

I was sitting with my head on dad's shoulder. We didn't say anything for sometime. These were the last moments I was having with dad for 10 years now.

"Dad,will you come here without me" I Whispered
"Never " He said and I hugged him tightly and tears flowed down my eyes and his eyes too were wet.

 For the first time in thirteen years I've seen him this weak.

Rajeev Kapoor you'll pay for these tears.

"Shall we, it's time to go princess." dad said in heavy voice and I wiped his tears.
"These should not flow from your eyes"I  told ordering tone and he smiled
"See,who's saying!! The one who herself is crybaby" Dad said and I smiled wiping my tears and we both looked at eachother
"Ham bichad rahe hai. chand palo ke liye ! Ham beshaq phir milenge.... Hamesha ke liye !!( we're separating for some time but no doubt we'll meet again..for ever) " He said and I hugged dad tightly.

Our last hug for next ten years.

"See you soon Meera Kapoor." Dad said
"No dad. Now for ten years Meera Kapoor dies ... And now only Meera is alive" I replied and dad smiled tapping my shoulder.

"Situation is the biggest teacher. My small princess is behaving like a mature girl" dad said as we moved back towards the car.

Today is the last day I'm seeing my parents. A girl leaves her parents home after marriage and here I'm leaving my parents today only. A father can do anything to protect his daughter and my dad is doing the same. My mom's morning start by me kissing her cheek. I know she'll not show this but she'll miss everything badly and of me, I'm already missing them. The thought of going away only is making me feel like hurricane forming inside my soul then how I'll live without them. Dad I've promised you. And mom always say promises are meant to be kept!! I'll keep all my promises dad. I'll come back to you both. I'll come back to destroy the life of that person who tried to mess with my family.

Close to very few people but those few means world to me!!!!!!
