Meera's POV

My birthday was just going awesome. Abeer accompanied me everywhere from temple to slums to orphanage.

I know he didn't like all these but still he did it for me. I really didn't like the way he behaved there but the best thing is when I made him understand all this he understood it very well and what can be more good then this!!!

Dad was so excited for his daughter in law's first birthday party in the mansion. And who'll not be when I'm officially part of their family.

Family!! I miss them. Now the first thing I'm gonna do is meet them as soon as possible!!!

I don't like these parties because I know half of the world will be invited today evening but then too I can do anything for those smiles on their faces. Abeer also told that he'll steal the last two hours of my birthday for himself and I'll gladly give him each hour of my life!!

It was four in the evening. I was yawning in my room sitting on the bed. 

Why??

Because I'm locked in the room till the party start!!!

That's not fair at all right . I mean can't I help in the decorations of my birthday party!!

And all this idea was of that Hitler!!!

"Madam are you there" came a voice and I gritted my teeth

"No. It's my ghost locked in this room." I shouted

Why I'm taking out my anger on her!!

"What happened. Open the door from outside. It's locked" I said

Soon the door opened and the house staff was there.

Good chance to run away!!

"Don't even think that Sweety" came Scarlett Aunty's voice and I frowned

"Spy of the Hitler" I muttered and she chuckled

"Get her ready" she said to the beautician

"I'm back Mrs.Malhotra" she said

"To paint me with your paint colors" I joked and she chuckled

"Happy birthday" she said and I smiled

"Thankyou." I replied

"Meera..take this. It's for you" aunty told handing me big paper bag

"What's this aunty" I asked

"Open and see and yeah this one is also for you" she replied winking and went away handing me an envelop.

Strange!!!

What's this now!!

I opened the envelop and found a red heart shaped paper and on it something was scribbled.

Happy birthday cara mia !

I smiled reading this. It's him!!!

So you must be thinking that I could've talked to you coming in the room which is just 20 steps away from me. But..I like my choices..hope you like yours!!

Idiot!! He's repeating the dialouge of Augustus Waters!

I know I'm copying but I didn't find something else!!

And I laughed reading this!!

So, today is my sweetheart's birthday and I'll do whatever I want for you...and you'll not stop me from doing anything.. Understand. I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing this for my wife,my love!!!

So now...just do one thing..open the door of walk-in and there's something for you...
And then, you can open this paper bag in your hand.

I smiled widely reading this. I looked at the beautician and she smiled walking in the balcony.

I ran inside walk-in and as soon as I turned towards my side of closet I saw a very big box with a ribbon on it.

I untied the ribbon and the box opened.

And my eyes glued on the mannequin infront of me.

It was a very very very beautiful baby pink coloured princess gown.

I looked at it from near.

It was just amazing. It was a strapless princess ball gown with roses on the bottom and a thick layer of roses at the back too !!

"Wow..it's just very beautiful Mrs. Malhotra" the beautician said and I nodded

"It will suit you perfectly.." she said and I smiled

He himself chose a strapless gown for me!!

"Yeah just five minutes more" I said and she nodded

I ran outside and opened the paper bag when I saw another paper bag inside it.

Stuart Weizmann !!

I took it out and opened the box inside it when I saw the most beautiful stilettos.

Cinderella stilettos. It's just amazing!! Just beautiful!!!

I took out them when a paper fell from it.
I picked it up and opened it.

I wanted to see if Cinderella in real fitted in these or not!!

P.s - there's much more.

He's idiot !! These shoes causes a hefty price!!! After all it's Stuart Weizmann !!

I looked into the paper bag to find some more small paper bags.

I took out another and opened it to find very beautiful diamond set. It had three very beautiful diamond rose cut rings, a beautiful heart and bow shaped small pendant and bow shaped beautiful earrings.. with a note!!

Was thinking if you'll shine more or these?? 
Let's see !!

P.s- I purchased all these very early for you..wanted some special occasion. What can be better then this!

I chuckled reading this!!

I unpacked the next bag to find out a crown tiara in it.

Damn!!! It's real diamonds and pearls !! He's just mad. Wasting money like water.

But it's damn beautiful..

How can a princess be ready without her crown right?  So I guess that'll complete your look!!

Now get ready as soon as possible..because downstairs someone is waiting to see his queen!!

I smiled and went inside walk in.

"Get me ready." I Said smiling and she nodded

She did my makeup first and then helped me in wearing that long and heavy princess ball gown.

Then she did my hairs in a beautiful bun with multiple braids and baby breath flowers !!

"Put this too" I said handing her the tiara

"Oh my goodness. Queen crown tiara.
This is so beautiful" she exclaimed and I chuckled

She fixed that in my hairs and then I wore the jewellery.

After I was all ready wearing those beautiful Cinderella stilettos I looked into the mirror from top to bottom.

Is this me??

"Oh my goodness. Mrs.Malhotra you're just looking drop dead gorgeous. It feels as if this pink gown and all this accessories were made only for you" she exclaimed and I smiled

"Thankyou for the magic. I feel as  I'm one of the Disney princess" I said

"Not one..you're looking mixture of every princess" she said and I laughed

"Okay I'll take your leave mam" she said

"Not like this. You'll be here only in my birthday okay" I said and she denied firstly but couldn't say no to me.

She went downstairs and I looked at the time.

It's 6 pm. The birthday party will start. Everyone will be there.

How much I hope them to be here. Unfortunately which is not possible!!

Suddenly there was knock on the door.

It must be Abeer!!!

I ran and opened the door to see mom.

"Mom you" I asked

"Why. Expected someone else" she said winking and I smiled

"Oh my God. Meeraaa... You're just looking beautiful just like a princess" mom exclaimed

"Thankyou mom and look at you.. It feels as if the Belle has taken Indian form. This yellow saree and this retro look. You just looking gorgeous" I said and she smiled

"So..shall we go.." She asked

"Where's Abeer mom" I asked

"I don't know. May be somewhere. You come" she said grabbing my hand

"But before that you'll be blind folded" mom said

"What..why" I asked

"I don't know. It's an order from Abeer Malhotra" she said dramatically and I sighed

You've troubled me a lot today Abeer. I'll see you later!!!

"Fine. Do other wise Hitler will eat me" I said and mom chuckled

"Saying bad about a son in front of his mom" mom said faking anger and we both chuckled

She blindfolded me and took me to lift.

Mom pressed button and I guess we went downwards. The lift stopped and mom took me out.

"Can I open this now" I asked

"Wait Sweety and come here" mom replied taking me don't know where.

"Now Sweety sit here" mom said making me sit on something soft.

It's..a soft cushioned chair.

"Open your eyes Meera" mom added removing the blind fold.

As soon as I opened my eyes I was shocked to see the garden.

Yeah it was one of the gardens but it didn't look like that!!

"Whose this pretty girl" came Scarlett Aunty's voice and I turned around to see her.

"Oh my God aunty..you're looking like show white" I said

Wait a minute!!!

Mom Belle..aunty snow white..this fake snow flakes..fairy lights..feathers..clouds...
It's a fairy tale theme.

IT'S FAIRY TALE THEME!!

"Took you a bit long to understand Sweety" dad said coming near us and I smiled

And he isn't looking less then king!!! A modern day king in his wonderful yellow tux matching mom!!!

Words weren't forming from my mouth. They're doing so much for me.

"I...thanks to..to you all" I said controlling my tears when mom smiled kissing my cheek.

"Say thanks to the one who gave this idea..your Abeer." Mom said and I smiled

"But where is he" I asked

"Don't know. He's vanished after giving me that bag which I gave to you" Scarlett aunty said

Where are you Abeer. I'm dying to see you!!!!

"Doll. You're looking a total fairy. A beautiful fairy" dad complimented and I smiled hugging him

"And you're just looking so handsome matching with mom" I said winking him and he chuckled

"Come now" he told taking the mic from side and made me stand in centre while all the guests surrounded me.

Everyone of them was in beautiful fairy tale theme. I feel as if I'm not in a garden. I'm in a fairy world.

"Ladies and gentleman.
May I have your attention please. So here is the star of the show. My daughter in law and more precisely, My daughter Meera Malhotra" dad announced happily and I smiled while everyone clapped.

"So..this is her first birthday as Meera Malhotra and it definitely calls for celebration. So enjoy friends. This is the fairy world on the earth, just grab your dance partners and come on the floor" Dad exclaimed happily and I chuckled

He's really very very excited!!

But where's he!!!

Abeer!! Where are you. My eyes are searching for you in all these people!!!

"Meera, oh sorry birthday girl will you please join me for a dance" dad asked bowing his head and I chuckled grabbing his hand.

"And mom." I asked looking at her when she chuckled

"Oh dear, would you mind" dad asked and mom laughed

"Carry on" she said and dad took me in the centre while we were surrounded by many couples.

"So liked this" he asked

"Loved this. I thought it'll be like your boring business parties" I told and he chuckled

"It might have been. You know I was going to call each and every business associate but Abeer denied and said to invite only close business associates other then friends and family" dad said while we danced and I nodded

"That's the reason I hate buisness parties" I sighed and dad smiled

"You've to attend them soon if you forgot Mrs.Meera Kapoor Malhotra" dad said and I nodded

"I know and I will. I said I hate them..I didn't say I'll not attend them" I said smirking and dad chuckled

"You very well know how to play with words. And that's a plus point in buisness" he smirked and I smiled

"Dad..where's Abeer" I asked finally getting impatient.

"Don't know. Late today" dad smirked and I chuckled

"He's Abeer dad. That's the thing. Time freak Abeer Malhotra is Late. Very bad...." I mocked and we laughed

Soon the song changed into a fast beats and dad was swirling me around for somewhat 4-5 rounds.

And thud!!

I collided with a hard chest.

"Ouch..." I said but as soon as my hands rested on the shoulder of the person my heartbeat increased.

I looked up to match his eyes and that's it. I want to sink in those beautiful eyes.

"Abeer.." I whispered and he smiled

"Missed me baby girl? " He asked and I smiled

"Thanks dad" He said and I looked at dad

"Never mind young man" dad replied and I was looking at both of them.

That's called plotting!!!

"Dad." I said glaring him but before I could say anything he cut me off.

"Oh my lady is waiting for me..excuse me" he smirked and took fast steps away from us.

"Sweetheart..." Abeer whispered and I looked at him

Damn!!! How couldn't I notice him till now!!! Matching matching!!!

Pink !!! I in a pink ball gown and he in a pink blazer.

God!! He's looking so handsome.

"You're looking breathtakingly beautiful and gorgeous Meera" Abeer whispered in my ear and pulled me more closed to him to which I gasped!!!

"Thanks and you're looking just drop dead handsome" I replied and he smiled

"So..liked this.." He asked

"Liked??" I said making a face to which his face was falling when I kissed him on his cheek

"Loved it!! Thankyou , thankyou and thankyou" I exclaimed happily

"Oh my god. Am I getting this every time I do something like that", he asked faking innocence and I smirked

" Not at all. Never " I said when he smirked

"And I'll get it every time I'll want it" he said kissing my cheek to which I blushed.

Soon the lights went dim and a soft melody started. Abeer smiled and pulled me on him.

My one hand was resting on his shoulder while the other around his neck.

"Dil diyan gallan( feelings on heart)" Abeer whispered singing in my ear and I smiled

"Karange nal nal beh ke( will do sitting together)" I completed him and he smiled

"Will do always right? " He asked and I smiled

"Always" I replied and rested my head on his chest while dancing.

I could hear his heartbeats...

"They're beating for you Meera" He said and I looked into his eyes to find just purity.

How am I so much lucky to have him in my life!!

"Thankyou Abeer." I said

"Thankyou for what " he asked and I smiled

"For..everything.From marrying me to not leaving me. From scolding me when I behaved as an idiot to pampering me when I needed it. From understanding me to making me understand things. From dealing me with utmost patience to handling my anger. From wiping my tears to making me happy. From, start till end" I said my voice becoming heavy and he hugged me tightly

"And yeah, from hugging me tightly to holding on me even after I never told you anything about me." I said and he smiled

"Feelings mutual tesoro" he replied

After some time the songs stopped and I frowned.

"I want to be like this only." I said and he chuckled

"Just a bit more time. Then be like this. I don't mind" he said and I smiled

"Ladies and gentleman..as you see my son and his wife are really very busy.." Dad announced on mike and I looked down blushing

"Dad.." Abeer said and everyone chuckled

"So..now it's time for cake cutting. But before that, every one is requested to have their dinner. It's eight. We'll be meeting you all again in half an hour" dad announced and I looked confused at him

"Why is he announcing all this today. Aren't we having a host" I asked

"He's the host today" Abeer told and I nodded

Amazing!!!! He's really hosting it well.
But he said we'll meet him after half and hour. Where he's going!!

"Don't look at him like that Meera. He's not going any where. We're all going inside the home" he said

"What. Why" I asked

"Patience baby patience. Okay now close your eyes" he said

"I'll not" I said glaring him

"You will" he said putting his hands on my eyes.

"Wait ...let me take out those stilettos. My legs are hurting badly" I said and removed them taking them in my hands

"What are you doing. Keep them here only" he said

"What? You want me to keep Stuart Weizmann Cinderella shoes here. No ways.." I replied making face.

Of course I'll not keep them here like to get lost!!!

"Who'll believe you're daughter of Mr.Kapoor" he muttered and my face fell.

"Now come" he said putting his both hands infront of my eyes and I closed my eyes

He took me inside the house.

"And surprise...." He said removing his hands.

As soon as I opened my eyes I was shocked to see the sight in front of me.

Tears came out of my eyes. I froze at the moment. I don't know till when I was standing like that when a warm hand touched my cheeks wiping my tears.

"Go Meera. They're waiting for you" he said and I nodded running in their direction

"Mom..dad.." I cried and ran in their direction

10 years!!! After ten freaking years I'm seeing my parents infront of me!!!!

I don't know that should I cry or be happy!!! I'm happy..and crying.
My mom and dad are here.
That's the bestesttt gift I've got today.

A daughter got her parents!!!
What can be more big and good then this!!!
