Meera's POV

You will never understand me Meera!!

His words were ringing in my ears constantly.

I know this time I was at mistake.
What the hell was I doing.

I was behaving like a jerk.

 I hurt him this time I know. He already told me that even if I don't share still I should not pretend that everything's good.

I did that again.. and that hurts Abeer.. and now hurting him is hurting me more!!!

Hurting me much more then I could ever think. It's killing me from inside. I feel like choking!

I'm in love!!

No doubts now. I'm in love with this man. I've fallen for him..I know feelings aren't mutual but still I can't keep denying myself now that I love him.

What a time to realize that I love him.. but may be that's what we call love.

When some day on some moment you miss the warmth of the person. When you fall slowly but deeply..
Love is unexpected and I never thought I'll find that I'm in love when I'll be in tears standing out of the mansion at midnight one.. craving for his hold and wanting to hug him tightly.

I love you Abeer!!!

This thought is enough for me to smile. I wiped my tears and went inside.
When I reached living room I saw mom and dad looking at me.

"What happened Meera" asked mom coming to me

"Dad.. firstly you tell me. What happened to you ? You and your son are doing a loss to your business. What was the need of this. It costs millions of bucks dad." I freaked and he looked at me smiling

"Oh my God. You're looking so beautiful Meera" dad exclaimed and I looked at him

"Dad!! I'm serious!! " I said sternly

"You deserve best" He replied like a kid!

You deserve best!!

His words came in my mind.

"But dad.. " I was going to say when he stopped me

"You're looking very beautiful Sweety" Scarlett aunty said and I smiled

"Yes..like a princess and Indeed you're the one" mom told kissing my forehead.

"Mom.. where's Abeer" I asked

"I wanted to ask you about same. What happened to him. He looked in a bad mood. What happened Meera" Mom asked concerned

"Mom.. don't worry. Nothing had happened. He's just not in a bit good mood..emm due to me. But you don't worry I'll see him. He'll be fine" I said and she nodded

I hope I'll manage it!!

"Dad.. it wasn't still needed and next time I'll not accept anything like that.. otherwise I'll deny it in front of media too" I told narrowing my eyes and he frowned

"What's the problem if I shower something on my daughter" he asked

"Your daughter has the best gift. A beautiful family and your love. I don't want anything else. Nothing is more better then that" I told and he smiled

"No one can win in front you Meera.. okay now go and sleep.. and yeah see on what happened to him" dad said and I nodded

"Yes dad don't worry" I replied and after bidding good night to everyone I came to the room.

He was not there around.

Must be in the walk in changing .

I sat on the bed and sighed.

This time it's my mistake.

How to tell you Abeer, I'm not afraid of you..I'm afraid of thinking those things.

Right now I'm feeling so tired. I took my hands back to remove necklace.

Damn where's the lock now!!

Suddenly I felt a cold touch on my back and I know the touch which is enough to give me goosebumps !!

"I-I'll.. do that" I said without turning because I know I'm blushing.

His touch affects me a lot!! Aaaa lottt!!

He didn't say anything and was busy opening the lock only.

Abeer is not talking to me?

Of course he's not!!

And I can't afford that. Not after knowing that finally what I feel for him!!

He opened the lock and removed the necklace carefully keeping it on the bed and started moving when I held his hand.

"Abeer listen" I said and he looked at me

"Go and change. You're tired. You should sleep" he told and left my hand.

I can tolerate anything but not his silence!

"Abeer..Please listen" I whispered as tears were ready to come out anytime.

"Meera.. go and change. I'm in balcony" He stated and I nodded like a kid.

I went in the walk in and changed into my night suit.

I came out and looked towards the balcony.

He was standing holding the railing and looking up in the sky.

I went towards the balcony and stood near him.

We both didn't say anything.

And he will not even say because this time you're at mistake. So open your mouth and say sorry!

"I'm sorry" I whispered but he didn't look at me.

Continue Meera!!

"I know I'm at the fault. I'm trying, But I'm not able to. I'm sorry. You know you told me that you're my friend before my husband.. Will my friend give me a little more time to open up. Please" I whispered and he sighed looking at me

"You're playing it emotionally now" He said frowning while I smiled as a tear rolled down my eye.

"Don't cry please." He sighed wiping that tear and I smiled

How am I this lucky!!

"Abeer..I'm sorry. I know I should share everything with you, But I have my own reasons and some demons need to be fought alone. You can't drag another person in that." I said

"And what if that someone wants to get dragged in" He asked

And I don't want to. Not till the right time at least!!

"I'm fighting my own demons Abeer; And they need time to fade away. You need to know about me right, I'll tell you everything. Just give me some more time. Please" I said and he wiped my tears away.

And I thought I'm not crying. I can't even remain strong in front of me.

"In the car also.. I was fighting my own fears. I swear that was nothing related to you. It's just you unknowingly hit that spot and you thought it's due to you. It can now never be due to you. Because I know you'll not do anything like this" I added and he nodded

"Why you try to show me that you're fine. I don't like that.. when I know you're not. You give your share in everyone's pain then why you don't share the part of your pain" he asked and I smiled

"Because I can't share a part. I'll share my life which I'm not ready to share right now. I know I'm judging your patience and I'm crossing my limits in this...But trust me I don't want to hurt you in any way." I said and he hugged me.

I needed this badly!!!

"I'm sorry for my behavior. Just bear this for some more time. I hope I'll fight all my demons soon. I really hope that I can fight all my fears. " I whispered and he nodded still hugging me.

"You'll!! You're lioness... and you will fight. Meera in some people's life there is a small corner which is known only by that person... and no one is allowed to enter in that corner till the one approves. You have that corner and I'm waiting for that time when you will allow me to enter that. I want to enter that part. Just don't lie next time. I hate lies. You know that and I trust you" he said and I looked at him

"You trust me Abeer" I asked

"Yes I do" he said without a blink and I smiled

"Will you listen and agree with me in some thing " I asked and he nodded

"If someday you feel as if I broke your trust.. you'll not make up your mind yourself.. you'll always clear everything with me first.. and in return I too promise the same. I'll not believe anything which will break my trust in you.. if someday it happens then I'll ask you first " I said and he smiled

"Sure" he said kissing my forehead.

It feels homecoming!!!!

"Thankyou for understanding me once again when I again behaved as jerk" I said and he chuckled

I love his laughter!!!
His smile!!
His face!!
Him!! I love him!!!

"Now when you're behaving as a jerk then I've to behave obviously as a matured man right...otherwise we will eat each other raw " He told and I laughed

"Mom, Scarlett aunty and dad are okay right. I behaved a bit rude there" he sighed and I smiled

And how foolish I was to think him a ruthless and heartless man!!
He can never be!!!

"I told them not to worry. I'll handle it" I said and he smirked

I love his smirk too!!

"So..now my wife will handle me. Not bad." He smirked and I chuckled

I want us to handle each other in every situation Abeer. Hope.. ever I'll be able to tell you that I don't want to handle you only as a wife. I want to hold and handle you as a wife who loves you very much!!

"We should sleep. Tomorrow's a big day" I told and his lips twitched into a smile

"It surely is. You know you'll love MCD"He said and I nodded

"I'm sure I will. Now let's sleep" I replied and we went inside.

He made the boundary of those pillows.

Why? Was this necessary!!

Meeraa... come on. You love him.. not he.. and he's doing what you told only right!!

Agreeing on this was my foolish mistake!!
And I can't even tell him to remove it.. because he'll ask me the reason and I can't tell him that!!!

"Good night Meera" He wished and I smiled laying down.

May be that's the best good night till now when I'm sleeping with a feeling of love!

"Good night Abeer" I wished him back and slept.

Don't know when sleep overpowered me.

When I woke up I found Abeer sleeping soundly.

He was tired last night and then I too did all that.

I looked at him and smiled.
I love this man!!

I woke up from the bed and moved inside walk in closet. After bathing I got ready in blue mid rise culottes with a white solid ruffled top. I left my hairs loose for letting them dry and after applying moisturizer and cream I went out of the walk in.

He's still sleeping.

I saw the time. It was eight. I slowly stepped outside the room and went downstairs when I saw mom with Scarlett aunty.

"Morning peeps" I wished and they smiled

"Morning sweety" they both sang in unison and I chuckled

"What's the matter Meera. Glowing a bit more today" Mom asked and I smiled

"I glow everyday mom" I said dramatically and she chuckled

I've got the reason mom. I'm in love with your son!!!

"Where's Abeer and is everything fine. Last night he looked at bit irritated" Scarlett aunty asked

"Don't worry. He's fine now and sleeping soundly" I said and they nodded

"Scarlett aunty I forget to ask you. What are you going to wear today " I asked and she smiled looking at mom

"A saree I guess" She replied

"Really.Whoa. You gonna look so beautiful and hot" I told and she smiled shyly

"Okay mom.. our outfits will come till noon." I told her and she nodded giving me a cup of coffee.

"Thankyou. Where's dad" I asked

"It's Sunday Meera" mom stated and I smiled

"Yes. How I forget that. It's gardening day. Bye both of you " I told and completing my coffee, I ran to the garden.

"Dad" I shouted excitedly and he smiled

"I thought you won't come" He said looking at me with pruning shears in his hands.

"I know we missed it for a long time but I can never forget it" I told and bent down

"Waitt.. waitt...worn white and came for gardening " he said and I bit my lips.

"Sorry.. but it's okay. We'll wash it afterwards" I replied and he denied

"Take this. Trim the leaves" he said giving me garden scissors and I nodded smiling.

"So..you did it after I went NY too" I asked

"I missed you and I knew I'll miss you more doing this.. so no" he said and I looked at him smiling sadly

"And you" he asked

"Feelings mutual dad... and moreover that Hitler would've not let me do it. He didn't even let me go to grocery shopping alone. Can you imagine two body guards in a normal grocery shop" I said while trimming the rose leaves

"And he's right in that. You should not go alone and you know it very well Meera. You're Meera Abeer Malhotra child... he was protecting you" dad told  and I nodded.

I know he was protecting me but I hate bodyguards!!

"Don't make faces Meera. I know you hate bodyguards" dad said while digging the soil by hand trowel.

"Your dearest son never allow me to step out without a one" I mocked and he chuckled

"I see. So high thinking about me" came a voice and I bit my lips.

God!! Why This happens with me only!!!

I looked at dad with pleading eyes to save me and he nodded.

"Morning Abeer. Come I'll teach you how to sow seeds" dad said to Abeer and he raised his eyebrow at dad.

This man I tell you!!

"That's a thing of kid." Abeer tol and I and dad looked at each other and started laughing

"Whaat" He snapped at us

"Abeer. Everything has a technique okay" I said and he huffed

"Fine. I don't need to do all this. Even you both don't need to. For what our Gardener is" Abeer asked and I looked at him

"Heard of a thing called happiness Abeer. It provides happiness to us spending our time with nature" I said and he nodded and went inside.

He won't do it!! And it's okay! Everyone's different!!

"You saved me" I whispered dad and he laughed.

Day passed like this only. We did our lunch and were sitting in living room.

"So..excited about today" Mom asked and we all looked at her.

"Mom" we all shouted at the same time and she frowned.

"Okay fine..." She said and we all chuckled

"You're asking the same thing 15th time from the morning mom" I told her and she smiled

"I'm so much excited today that I can't tell you" she exclaimed and I smiled looking at Abeer.

He was already smiling ! He's so happy since morning and I hope he remains happy like this only. I don't know why I'm feeling something weird but I still hope god everything's fine.

Our outfits came and we all went to our respective rooms to get ready.

And as usual mom had already sent a beautician to my room and Abeer went to the room next to ours for getting ready

Hope he likes what I've chosen for him today.

And hope he likes what I've chosen for myself today !

I took a warm shower again and the beautician blow dried my hair and applied makeup.

"Mam you must change. I'll then set the outfit" she said and I nodded.

I changed myself into the outfit with her help and smiled looking at myself.

My hairs are already straight so she let my hair loose in center partition.

I completed my look with an extravagant heavy layered choker and earrings.

"You're looking just gorgeous in this shimmery golden outfit mam." the beautician said and I smiled mouthing her a thankyou.

I took out the vermilion box and filled it in my hair partition with happiness.

Suddenly there was knock on the door.

"Abeer must be there. You may go thank you"I told her and she nodded

"Meera.. are you in" Came voice from the room

"Yeah.. Just coming in a minute" I replied from the walk in closet

Where have I kept that!! I'm not getting them!!

I opened another bangle box.

Here you're!! Was finding you since so much time!!

 Taking the bangles out I looked at them and closed my eyes sighing!

No Meera! Don't think about that day! Just wear them! It's not like that you're marrying today! You've married and they're the sign that you're Abeer's wife!!

I wore bangle set and wore my golden heels going outside.

"Finally you ca..." Abeer was saying while I was adjusting my outfit.

What happened to him. He stopped in between!!!

I looked at him and... I was just spellbound.

He.. he's mesmerizing. He looks ravishingly hot and Greek god in the outfit.

I can stare him like this all my life.

Abeeeerr!!! What have you done to me!!!!!!
