Abeer's POV

"Prepare divorce papers Advik" I whispered

He looked at me as if I was joking.

"Are you kidding me Malhotra" He asked

"Do I look like that Khanna" I glared him and he blinked his eyes

"Are you Mad Abeer. What are you even saying. I know you did wrong but you're guilty and now when you know that you love her then how can you let her go" He shouted

"That's the point Advik!!!  Because I love her!  She doesn't !! She hates me. Do you understand that. She hates to take my name from her mouth too. All she is doing is for mom and dad. All she did was for Malhotra's and all what she'll be doing will be for Malhotra's only.. and she'll compromise with her life once again because I'm a Malhotra. I'm son of Dev and Aditi Malhotra. I really don't know anything about her. I don't know why she can't see even a slight frown on the face of mom and dad and that's the reason she married me. You know she still don't want to tell mom and dad anything in haste just because she can't imagine them sad and here I.. I'm the bloody reason of everything what's happening." I seethed all in one breath and Advik looked at me

"You know Advik.. Meera is a free bird.. Who can't live caged. Who knows just one thing. To fly in open. I tried to cage her. I didn't realize that I was caging her soul in my heart.. all I thought was I'm caging her because she's my wife.. but now I've realised that I was caging her because I was afraid.. afraid to loose her.. and see!!  What I did. I've lost her." I told as tear rolled down my cheek and he looked at me sadly

"You still haven't lost her brother. Just try and convince her. I'm sure she'll be ready to give you another chance" He told

" Who'll be more happy if she does so! But she won't and I don't want to force her for this even emotionally!  She's an amazing person Advik.. and I'm a ruthless person. She deserves someone who would coo her.. pamper her.. look at her tantrums.. who would let her fly freely.. I can coo her.. pamper her.. but you know me better then me right!!  You know I can't let her fly freely. You know the reasons" I told

"I know Abeer.  But she will also understand this. Just ask her for one chance. I know why you can't let her fly freely. I know why you can't trust everyone around you and near her. I know how big name Malhotras is!!  Business is an amazing thing. It brings money and fame with itself but what it brings is rivalries too!  I know you can't let her fly alone in outside world because you're afraid.. " He said

"Yes. I'm afraid. Afraid that people out there can do anything for money. And my life resides in her Advik. If something happens to her I'll die.You know before also she went alone outside without any bodygaurd.  You too can understand what would've happened" I sighed

"I know Abeer. But she'll understand everything. She'll understand your concern too" He said and I smiled painfully

"For her, I'm faking everything. According to her I should stop faking and better leave her alone" I told

"Abeer you can't loose so easily" he said

"If my defeat makes her win... I'll be the happiest" I told

"No one can love her more than you Abeer.. I can see that" He said

"She can't ever love a monster like me" I retorted back

"Will you be able to see her with someone else" He said and I fisted my hand closing my eyes.

Can I !! When I can't imagine then how can I see!!

You've to Abeer.  You have to.  For her happiness. For her smile.. For her laughter that you took away from her. A one chance to you Meera... And A one chance to our fates... If You're written to me mine... You'll be!!  And if you're not.. I'm letting you go!

" If you love someone.. love them selflessly. So selfless that for them you can sacrifice anything.  Anything means anything.. then even if it means sacrificing your love too" I whispered

"When did you grow up so much Abeer" Advik asked and I looked at him smiling

"Since when I came to know what's true love" I said

"Abeer....Think very nicely" he warned and I smiled

"Anything for her" I whispered and he hugged me

"I can't say that everything will be fine soon.. but yes.. I'm always there for you.  You know that" He said and I nodded

"Prepare the papers Advik" I said and he denied.

"Say someone else for this.. I can't ruin your whole life by my own hands!!  I can't do that Abeer. I can't " he whispered

"Don't leave my hand for now Advik please " I said

"I'll talk to her" he told

"You'll not tell anything to her" I glared him

"I can't see you like this too" he stated

"And I can't see her like this Advik.  Not every love story is meant to be completed. Some remains uncompleted too. Not everyone in this world has the fate to cherish the fullest form of love. some are born  ,just to experience the abbreviation of it." I said

"Abeer... " He was going to say when I cut him off.

"Prepare the Divorce papers.Since its a mutual decision no processing will take time" I Said

"Hmm... but as a lawyer I've to talk with her too for once" Advik told and I nodded

"Talk with her tomorrow.  Come home but remember you'll not say anything that I said you today" I asked

"You know right that you're sacrificing yourself" He told and I smiled

"It's better then she sacrificing herself for me..again" I said

"Abeer." He called and I hummed

He didn't say anything and just hugged me tightly.

"Take care" he said and I nodded

"Bye" he whispered and I bid him bye and drove back home.

Your fate is really good that you got Meera. Don't ever do anything stupid that you might regret later because if you'll loose her for once na you'll realize her importance but then it might be too late.

Her best friend Divya was so much right!!

I've done the stupidity Divya!!  And I'm regretting it!

I came home and I saw Scarlett aunty. Seeing her face tells that she knows everything.

I looked at Meera who was looking at aunty gesturing her no!! 

No for what!!

"Aunty..." I called and he looked at me fuming with anger and came near me.

"I leave your job right now Mr. Abeer Malhotra" she said and I looked shocked at her

"Aunty what are you even saying. No.  You can't do like this to me. " I told

"And what you did huh. Are you for real. Are you even a human or a devil" she shouted and I looked at her.

I've never seen her so angry.  She'll be of course. She has to be. 

I was going to say before which I saw Meera. Her eyes were getting closed and she was stumbling.

Damn!! 

"Meeraa" I shrieked and ran and held her on time.

"Leave me Abeer Malhotra" she said in low voice still her eyes closed.

I didn't listen to her and picked her up going towards room.

I made her lay down on the bed.

"Meera sleep. " I whispered

"Did you talk to Advik" she asked slowly and I nodded.

"Sleep for now" I said and she looked away from me.

You don't have to worry Meera. Soon you would not be seeing my face.

I came out of the room and went downstairs.

"What happened to her" aunty asked

"Side effects of medicines aunty" I said

"Why did you do this Abeer" She asked and I didn't say anything.

I don't have anything to say.

"I'm sorry aunty" I whispered

"What will I do with your sorry Abeer. You made her so vulnerable that she cut her wrist. How could you Abeer. She didn't commit any crime" she said

"She didn't aunty.. I did crime. I did mistake.  But don't worry. I'm correcting it. I'm giving her what she wants" I told

"Say clearly Abeer" She asked

"Divorce" I whispered while a lone tear escaped my eye.

"What.. " aunty gasped

"She wants to get free from all this aunty and honestly I don't deserve her. She want to go away from me. She said that I should stop faking all this concern and yeah whatever I've done with her ...  I don't think she'll ever want me to come near her. I know she'll be very happy away from me." I Said

"Abeer...Do your parents know this" aunty asked

"You know your sweety right. She didn't let me tell anything to them. She don't want them to get hurt..even if she herself is getting hurt" I said

"Abeer..you really did wrong.  You can't ask anyone anything before you're morally right and you were never.You said her everything that a husband would've never said to his wife. How can you question her character" she accused and I looked at her.

"I'm very bad aunty. I know. I don't deserve anything in this world. I'm already loosing her.. My heart is still not ready to let her go but I'm doing this... But  you please don't go away from me... please." I said and wiped my tears.

"You remember aunty you used to tell me the stories in my childhood and I used to ask you one question. Do you remember that question  " I asked and she looked at me nodding.

"Do angles exist?  " she said and I smiled

"They do aunty. She's an angel... it's just I don't deserve angles in my life because monsters don't deserve anything" I sobbed and she looked at me

"You love her Abeer!! " She whispered and I smiled painfully and told everything to her. 

"You did wrong Abeer.  That you too know and if that's your last decision then let it be. But will you be able to live without her" She asked wiping her tears

"I'll live by seeing her happy. That's enough for me" I told and she hugged me.

I missed this motherly hug!!

"I'm sorry aunty.  Due to me your sweety is going away from you" I cried

She didn't say anything and wiped my tears and stood up.

"Go and sleep Abeer. Good night" she Said and went to her room.

I know Aunty isn't saying anything but I know her very well. She's angry on me but still she must be feeling sad for me. I know she's very angry with me but as Meera said...

she can never hate me!!
A mother can never hate her child.

I wiped my tears and washed my face.
I went to my room and looked at her.

I love you Meera. How much I hope I could tell you this!!

I went inside the washroom and after taking a long warm bath I changed into my night wear.

I came out and saw Meera sleeping hugging herself.

I looked at the temperature of AC.

16!!  Damn!!  And she's sleeping without covering herself with duvet!!

I took the AC's remote and increased the temperature. I then went towards her and covered her with the duvet.
She moved a little in her sleep and held my hand.

Tingling sensations!! Knots in stomach!! 

But this all happens with girls and that too only in novels!!

That's happening with you Abeer Malhotra and that too in real!!
This has never happened!!

How it will because that's the first time you're loving someone!! 

I looked at her.

How much I want you to hold my hand like this forever. How much I want you to stay like this with me forever.  How much I want you to be with me forever.

But the thing is I can't!!  I can't even tell you my condition. I can't even tell you what I feel for you.

I love you Meera.  I love you and I'll love you forever. Neither you or anyone could change this feeling now!

I can't tell anyone but yeah I'm in pain...Pain of loosing her forever and honestly it hurts !!

It hurts very very much!!

But someone has said it very right....

That's The Thing About Pain...It Demands To Be Hurt !!!!
