"MEERA'S POV"

I know my life's going to be like this only.
Daily waking up and staying in my room. But I can't live like that.

I've always been a free bird. I'm not used to this life style. I'll die in suffocation.

God listened to me but in a very wrong way.

I wanted to go out but not with this jerk !!!

But after all I don't have any option. Huff !!

After lunch I decided what to wear and I decided a shimmery golden formal evening dress.

Mom bought it for me and I didn't wear it till now.

I completed my look with minimal makeup small golden studs and left my hair in middle partition.

I looked at mirror and it was perfect. Just one thing was missing.. Smile which I've to soon plaster on my face.

I went down and looked at Abeer. He looked at me sorry if I'm not wrong he stared me.
He changed into a grey tuxedo and no doubt he was looking good.

Okay. I admit Great!!

We went to the venue and I don't know why the hell he suddenly tightened his grip on my waist.

I so hate it when he do this but I can't say anything here.

And another shock he asked me for dance.

I so hate that listening from his mouth !!!!

I told him so many times that don't call me that but he did it for irritating me and no doubt I was getting hell irritated.
We danced and when the song stopped I tried going back but he didn't leave me. I tapped him twice when he listened me and left me.

He's not in senses even without drinking!!

We came back home and without even glancing at him I wishing aunty good night went to my room.

I changed into my night suit removing makeup went to sleep but many questions in mind.

Why did he stare me like that?

Why he held me and didn't leave me for once?

Why he was dancing with me?

Why he didn't leave me even after song was over?

Good night.

Days were passing like this only. I eating.. sleeping.. roaming in the house and so on. I didn't step out of the house for once till now.

It's been four months!!! Four freaking months.

Abeer and I were not talking to each other without any work. I usually used to come out of my room when he was not awake or either when he went out. At night I ate and went to sleep before he came.

Hopefully there's no scene created by him after that night of drinking.

I woke up and after having my breakfast I went to the balcony.

I want to goooo ouuuuuttt!!!

Ideaa!!

I smiled and ran out of the room when I tripped on the carpet and was about to fall.

"Aaaahhhhhh" I shouted and closed my eyes as I was on the first step and was going to fall down but suddenly my hand was pulled and I hit a hard wall.

Sorry Body!!

I opened my eyes and looked up when I saw him

He glared me dead serious.

"Are you out of your mind" He shouted and I flinched looking down.

Okay! It was my mistake!

"I'm asking something. Are you deaf" He shouted again

"I.. I'm.. " I was saying but words were killed inside

"What the hell. What were you doing. Have you lost your senses. You would've fallen right now from stairs " he yelled and I looked down

"Abeer. What happened. Why are you shouting? " came Aunty's voice from ground floor.

"Ask your dear sweety aunty. She'll tell you" He said glaring me deadly.

"Meera. What happened child" She asked

"I.. I was coming down but I.. I was not paying attention and I tripped "I mumbled looking down

"What. Where were you looking sweety" She asked and I looked down

"Now she's deaf too" He shouted and I looked at him frowning.

"What. Huh. What. Didn't you see this big carpet or you were in so much hurry that you didn't pay any attention. " He asked

"I'm sorry" I whispered

"What if something had happened to you. Do you even think you would've fallen damn it!!! From second floor!!!! Don't you have a little sense in you Meera" He shouted and honestly for the first time I saw concern in his eyes.

He called me Meera without any taunt too!

"I said I'm sorry. And why you're worrying if anything happens to me. Why do you care" I asked and he looked at me and his caring emotions again changed into anger.

"I don't care a bit even if you die. If you're so eager to die then find another place. I don't want anyone to die in my mansion and then police coming here everyday " he warned and I looked at him.

"Don't worry Abeer Malhotra. Even if I die , police will not come to this mansion ever due to me" I said smiling painfully and I don't know why tears left my eyes.

Mai dard dikdhana nahi chahti...
par ye aankhe daga kar jaati hai!!
(I don't want to show my pain but these eyes betrays me ).

"So open your eyes and then walk" He growled and moved past me.

I wiped my tears and went back to my room.

I'm getting suffocated. I'm not that brave. I can't listen to the same thing everyday.

"Sweety" came aunty's voice and I wiped my tears.

"yes aunty" I asked

She didn't say anything. She just hugged me.

I needed this one so badly!

"Today I'm happy" She said and I looked shocked at her.

"Why aunty" I asked and she smiled.

"I don't know whether you noticed or not. Today I saw concern for you in his eyes. A good step" She said and I chuckled humorlessly.

"Didn't you listen what he said after that. He doesn't care even if I die" I told and she looked at me.

"When you're taking these words so seriously then Why aren't you taking that caring emotion in his eyes seriously " she asked

"Because they weren't real" I said and she smiled

"What if I say that what he said at end wasn't real" She replied and I sighed.

"Aunty. I'm already fed up with all this. Honestly I don't want any fake hopes." I told and she sighed

"Okay fine. But think about it. By the way why were you in so hurry to come down" she asked

"Actually I was getting suffocated. I don't know where to go and what to do so I just thought I'll bring groceries from outside. This way I'll get some air & space " I said

"Sweety. If you want to go out then go anywhere. Why grocery" She asked and chuckled

"I don't want to roam around like zombie anywhere" I frowned and we laughed.

"But then bringing grocery is not what wife of Abeer Malhotra will do" She said and I huffed.

"Why. Ain't I a human. Can't I buy grocery" I asked

"But it will not suit you" She said

"Aunty. No work is big or small. It's just your thinking...and believe me for me doing household chores is same as doing a job in any company. I feel no difference in both work." I told

"Abeer's thinking is totally opposite to this. He doesn't even let me buy groceries so how he'll let you do this" She said and I chuckled

"He doesn't care for whatever I do. So don't worry" I replied

"But then too.." she was saying when I cut her in between

"Aunty. Your financial status can never decide your work neither happiness. I'm happy even if I'm penny less but I'm having real happiness with me. Similarly I'm happy if small things give me satisfaction" I explained and she smiled

"You're very different child. I hope Abeer realize this soon" she said

"Now can I go for groceries." I asked

"Sweety. It's already near noon and grocery have arrived. So go tomorrow and bring whichever veggies and fruits you like. " she said and I smiled widely.

"Thankyou aunty" I said hugging her.

"But on one condition" she said

"What" I asked

"You'll not run senselessly. Today you know , if Abeer wouldn't have pulled you , God knows what would've happened." she said

"Aunty. I'm really sorry. I'll take care from today onwards" I told and she smiled.

"Okay. Now I'm waiting for lunch downstairs. Come soon" she said and I nodded smiling.|

Don't know what I would've done if she wouldn't have been in this house.

The next day I was so happy.

I'll finally step outside this mansion . I ate my lunch and in evening, I wore my casuals and went to Aunty.

"Aunty tell me what to bring" I asked her and she signalled one of the house staff who bought list.

Vade log ni vadi vadi baate.

"Ma'am the vegetable and fruits list" she said and I nodded.

I mean come on! I can bring them without a list too!

I went out of the main gate when I saw Joseph.

"Hello Joseph" I said smiling and he looked at me.

"You know I'm not like your master. You can say hello to me" I added and he nodded

"Hello ma'am. Do you need to go anywhere. Shall I take you" He asked

"No Joseph. Just to supermarket" I said and he nodded

"Take ma'am to supermarket" he commanded two bodyguards and I frowned.

"Madam. They'll accompany you everywhere" he said

"First stop calling me mam okay and secondly I'm not going to fight with anyone. I'm just going to buy fruits and veggies" I told

"Mam your safety is our duty." He said

"Arghh..Joseph stop calling me Mam" I said and he looked down.

"I'm sorry mam but I'm master's bodyguard and you're his wife. So you're my mam" He told and I sighed.

"Do you have a sister Joseph" I asked and he looked shocked at me.

"No" he said and I smiled

"How about I change my self from your mam to sister. I'll be glad having a big brother like you" I said and he looked at me shocked.

"But mam.." He was saying

"Brother" I grinned and he smiled.

Who the hell in this world says that bodyguards don't smile !!!

They too are humans !!

"Sir will not be happy, me calling you by your name" He said

"Is your sir happy anytime by the way" I asked and he looked down.

No Words against master.

"Idea. Call me sister. Not Meera. Problem solved" I said and he smiled.

"So sister now it's my utmost responsibility to look after your safety so bodyguards will accompany you" he told and I frowned.

"No Joseph. Can you imagine me in a normal supermarket and two bodyguards there. People will think me mad" I frowned

"Sorry. Duty is duty" he said

"Do this duty for your Master" I glared him and he looked down.

"Come on Joseph. I'm not a child that I'll get lost. Please. I don't like bodyguards at all. In India also there was a bodyguard with me. Spare me here at least for sometime" I whined

"You're saying a bodyguard that you don't like bodyguards" he pointed out and I laughed

"You're no bodyguard for me. You're a brother " I said and he smiled

"Let me go alone. Pleaaaassseee" I whined again

"Okay but your GPS will be tracked every second till you come back" He said and I nodded

"Okay. Byee. Track my phone as much as you want to" I laughed.

I went to the supermarket and believe me after so so many days I'm feeling sooooo gooood. I love this air of freedom !!

Honestly I hate bodyguards. I used to say uncle so much that spare me but no, Uncle thinks that I don't know but I'm very much aware that how I was followed from home to college and back college to home or anywhere I used to go .

There was always a bodyguard.

But I knew it would give them satisfaction that I'm safe so I never said them anything.

I took out the list and took everything needed and paid at the cash counter and went towards the home back.

I was not in a car.

Who the hell uses car for a 5-7 minute distance.

Abeer Malhotra!

Yeah but I'm not Abeer Malhotra!!!!!!!!!

I went back home and as soon as I entered I heard someone shouting.

Damn it ! Not again.
