Chapter 5

"For moon's sake get your elbow out of my fucking organs." Lola growled at Micah making him pout as he moved away from her to sit back up in his own seat. Lola rubbed angrily at her midsection while glaring at Micah who shrugged at her, looking towards the floor with wide-eyes as though wondering why someone would be angry if you put your very sharp elbow in their tender mid-section.

Micah, Lola and I all had my dad's super sharp elbows so we had to be a bit more careful than most when cuddling, Micah however wasn't really the careful sort. Especially during car rides. He was the most restless individual when he had to sit still for long, in particular in enclosed spaces which the SUV was despite how large it was. That was why no one wanted to sit with him for car rides, Nina used the excuse that they were both alphas so they had broad shoulders making it uncomfortable to sit together, leaving Lola and I to rock paper scissors it out between us.

For once I had won, and because of that I was sitting in the back with lovely mature Nina who was sitting upright in her seat reading a book quietly. I smiled at her feeling an intense sense of fondness towards my eldest sibling as Micah tried to lean against Lola again making her push him away. Which naturally led to both of them having a rather pathetic looking fight in which they just viciously slapped at each other's hands.

Nina looked up from her book, noticing my smile and reached over to squeeze my jaw affectionately before finally realizing the sound of hands hitting together was a fight and not the two playing clap games. She looked down at her book longingly for a moment before sighing and shutting it. Setting it to the side as she unbuckled her seatbelt and leaned forward, holding both of them apart as they struggled to continue slapping hands.

Mom and dad in the front were having a lovely time as they chatted quietly while poor Nina was struggling to keep the two idiots apart. Feeling bad for her I leaned forward, grabbing a hold of one of Micah's ears and used that to tug him away from Lola. He screeched dramatically until I let go, and I slapped his cheek lightly in reprimand before leaning back into my seat.

"Violent omega." My brother grumbled angrily.

"Moronic alpha." I replied making him turn around to give me the stink-eye.

"No one's violent and Micah you have your smart moments, now please just everyone be quiet." Nina said making Lola snort.

"Why'd you say Moon's sake, what is this the 1400's?" Micah asked Lola clearly not in the mood to let anyone be peaceful.

"One of my clients says it." Lola said defensively.

"Which one?" Micah asked leaning towards her in interest.

"You very well know I can't tell you that." Lola answered, pushing his face away with her hand.

"Give me a hint." He bargained.

"No." Lola answered.

"If I guess it correctly will you tell me if I'm right?" Micah asked.

"Absolutely not." Lola replied.

"You're so boring." Micah groaned turning to look out his window with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Yes, very boring being ethical and respecting client confidentiality." She said sarcastically.

"It's Mrs.Heatherton isn't it?" Micah asked after a moment of peaceful silence.

"I can't tell you Micah. Let. It. Go." Lola said through her gritted teeth making him mumble about her being no fun and settling down in his seat once more.

"Are we almost there?" I asked.

"Just five minutes." My mom answered. Normally we held pack gatherings at the pack house, but one of the elders wasn't feelings very well, and it was quite cold, so the elders had asked if we could have it at their home instead. The elders lived at the very end of the pack territory, closest to the town to minimize how much they had to travel when they wanted to go to town.

"Is Elder Kenji still feeling ill?" Lola asked, my father turning in his seat to answer her with a little sympathetic nod.

"I always liked him, he was funny and he always kept candy on him. I hope he gets better soon." Micah said as my mother turned onto the path that led to the elders' home, parking as close as she could get considering how many cars were already there. It seemed the entire pack had arrived before us. Mom had gotten a phone call from the Pack Alpha of a transferred member which had delayed us a bit.

We got out of the car, all of us grabbing one of the large trays of the kebabs mom made to take to the pack gathering. Nina grabbing mine from me and handed me the bag of sauces instead to hold. I pouted down at the bag briefly, feeling bad that the others always did the muscle work.

"You're wearing white, I don't want anything from the tray to get on you." My sister said, staring pointedly at the white sweater that was underneath my black zipped up jacket making me give her a blank stare to which she only smiled in response before hurrying to catch up with the others, leaving me to do the same.

We walked down the pathway, and I felt regretful to have worn boots with a bit of a heel to them considering how slippery it was. Micah had almost fallen, if it hadn't been for mom who had grabbed him by the arm keeping him upright. Mumbling a quiet "careful pup" to him which I knew he was very pleased about even if he complained that he wasn't a pup anymore. All of us secretly loved it when mom called us pup the way she did when we were young.

Mom opened the door as we reached the entrance to the grand home, rivalled in size only by the pack home. She led us inside, heading straight into the basement where we could hear everyone was. Rarely were pack gatherings held at the elders' home. Elder Kenji was one of the eldest among the elders, his mate only a few years senior to him had passed away last year, and since then the elder had been quite ill.

Lola was convinced that he should come see her, and despite how kind he was, he was also stubborn and old-fashioned not really believing in the power of therapy. It was sad to see any of the elders ill though, especially Elder Kenji, because he had always kept candy with him to offer to the pack pups, and Micah of course. Who was to this day a favourite of Elder Kenji's probably because Elder Kenji's mate had a very similar personality to Micah. Kind-hearted but a little eccentric and carefree.

We walked down the stairs and immediately were swarmed by all the pack members, who first greeted my mother respectfully, bowing their heads to her while she made sure to scent all of them before they greeted the rest of us. The adults greeting Nina and my father more respectfully while greeting the rest of us siblings casually. I tried to keep my conversation with Josephine short, Micah looking so offended when she told me she had 'seen' that my brother would fall down the stairs.

I set the sauces aside before stooping down to greet the pack pups that came to greet us, looking up with shy smiles and bright eyes. Some of them blushing so adorably as I hugged them that I couldn't resist pressing a kiss to their soft chubby cheeks. My eyes widened as all the pups giggled madly when I kissed the cheek of one little boy in particular.

"He loves you." One of the other pups told me helpfully making me laugh as I squeezed the boy's face in my hands, it turning so red as he blushed madly, looking very embarrassed. I put my cheek forward expectantly and he hesitantly placed a soft kiss to my cheek making my heart melt.

"Well Jacob is the cutest boy I have ever had the pleasure of receiving a kiss from." I said, before getting up off my knees and brushing them off as the pups ran away giggling and screaming, the little boy stopping once to look back at me, before continuing to chase after them.

I watched after them with a smile before stooping to grab the bag of sauces, snatching it up and almost getting startled as I was immediately pulled into a hug by someone. I weaselled one arm out from where it was being crushed between our bodies to wrap my arm around who I could tell from her scent was Nora.

As usual at pack gatherings she had one of the pups she taught clinging to her leg and refusing to let go. Nora wasn't one to boast but from having visited her while she taught I knew she was dearly loved by all her students. Nora grabbed the bag from me as she stepped back letting her twin wrap me into a big bearhug, one I was actually able to respond to properly since I was prepared for it this time around.

"You okay?" Elliya asked as she stepped back and I nodded, peeling off my coat, and throwing it onto the huge pile of jackets. Turning to greet Zeenat with a hug as well, who was a little more careful and didn't try to crush me the way Elliya did.

"Your big-butted librarian is here." Nora said making me look at her in horror hoping no one, especially not Aspen had heard that. Elliya giggled madly with her twin sister, making lewd gestures while Zeenat shook her head at the both of them trying to suppress her smile.

"He's not my librarian, and where is he? I'd like to introduce all of you to him." I asked in response to which they all shrugged unhelpfully.

"He was standing alone though, I told Zeenat to go talk to him but she said it might seem like she was hitting on him because she's weird." Elliya said and Zeenat smacked her arm lightly in reprimand making her rub her arm poutily.

"Your mom smells so good, she hugged me and I never wanted to let go." Nora said dreamily and I nodded, mom did smell very good but I didn't particularly appreciate the heart eyes the three girls were making as they thought of my mom.

"I need to greet the elders." I said, wanting to get away from the trio of fangirls.

"We'll put the sauce with the rest of the food." Elliya called after me as I made my way to where most of the elders were sitting. I gave her a thumbs up. I could smell the food from here and it all smelled delicious, except of course for Marilyn's pasta that smelled like it was incredibly and dangerously inedible. Everyone in the pack knew not to go near her pasta, we would discreetly toss it away bit by bit making her think people had eaten it because we were cowards that didn't know how to tell her she was a terrible cook.

I spoke with each of the elders briefly, bowing my head to them all, getting a pat on the head from each of them. Those who knew me well pinched my cheek affectionately, commenting about how much I'd grown even though they had seen me last month and I had really not grown since then. Or for the past five years really. But that was what the pack elders did at every pack gathering, if you were anywhere under thirty they thought of you as a pup and treated you as such.

I knelt down in front of Elder Kenji, feeling saddened when he was overtaken by a coughing fit as he tried to ask me how I was. He looked so horribly weak compared to the way he had just last year when his mate had been by his side. Wolves got so attached to their mates, most could barely live without them, it was both beautiful and heart-breaking.

I waited till he had calmed down before answering him and told him a bit about my work at the library, the others taking interest in our conversation and adding in their own opinions. Elder Kenji congratulated me for my work, and forced a smile when I told him to get well soon, promising he'd be better in no time even though the both of us knew he wasn't telling the truth. Will-power was very important in healing, and Elder Kenji had lacked the spark in his eyes since his mate Elder Zack had passed away. He pressed a small pack of the candy cherry blasters into my hand as I began to get up, and I smiled at the fact that he had remembered that it was my favourite, unable to keep from tearing up a little.

He patted my cheek lightly, gruffly telling me not to get emotional because it was only candy. Jokingly telling me he had found it laying around on the ground somewhere making me giggle. I thanked him, squeezing his hand in mine lightly before excusing myself.

I took a moment to just calm down, tucking the candy into the pocket of my jeans before I went to greet my paternal grandparents properly. They were busy trying to fix the décor that the pack pups kept ruining while they played. I'd only really gotten to acknowledge them as they greeted my mother when we arrived, but having not seen them for a few weeks I wanted to spend some time with them.

"Everything looks very nice." I said from behind them making them both turn and look so positively overjoyed even though they had just seen me moments ago. They squished me between them in a hug, each of them pressing a kiss to my hair and squeezing my nape gently.

"Thank you darling." My grandma said beaming at me, her smile identical to that of my father.

"Our little Parisa gets more beautiful every day." My grandpa said making me bow my head in embarrassment making them both coo.

"You really do look so much like your mother's mother Parisa, it's remarkable. She was a stunning woman herself, so it's definitely not a surprise. All four of you are so beautiful, I can't wait till you all are mated and we get great-grandchildren." My grandma said, the both of them looking at each other excitedly at the idea of great-grandchildren.

"Only if you promise to decorate our mating ceremonies." I said and they nodded enthusiastically, each pinching my cheek before telling me to run off and go mingle.

I walked around trying to find the girls, finding Aspen instead who stood alone in a corner, fiddling with his hands uncomfortably. I made my way over to him, making sure he had seen me, and made eye-contact before stepping forward slowly, wrapping my arms gently around him. His entire body seemed to be trembling and I pulled him in closer to still him, rubbing my hand over his back until he calmed.

I pulled away from him to offer him a smile and ask how he was. He mumbled something almost unintelligible before asking how I was doing. He didn't smell like any of the pack members meaning he hadn't spoken to any of them since his arrival.

"I'm great Aspen, it's nice to see you here, I didn't see you at the last pack gathering." I said softly.

"I-I left a little early." He admitted, still wriggling his hands uncomfortably. Aspen did seem to have some trouble with big groups which was why he never asked to lead any of the clubs or groups at the library, but he seemed like he wanted to rip out of his own skin at the pack gathering. His shoulders so incredibly stiff and he looked painfully hunched in on himself. He played with his hands nervously, his face white as a sheet.

"I'm gonna get something to eat, would you like to come with me?' I asked, waiting for his response since he looked highly unsure, probably reluctant to leave his mostly hidden spot.

"The food's very good, there's also nachos from the burrito place I'm always raving about, and my mom made kebabs. If she wasn't a Pack Alpha she'd be a chef so you don't want to miss out on those." I told him and he nodded after a moment.

We wormed our way through the people, and I spotted Nora, Elliya and Zeenat chatting with some of the pack members we had gone to school with but I really didn't think Aspen was ready to join them.

"Did you get a chance to look at the new books yet?" I asked, having to repeat myself since Aspen was so distracted looking around.

"No." He mumbled.

"You're going to go crazy when you see them, they're all by new authors and they sound really good, I was so sad I couldn't take them out yet. I started reading one during my break and ended up ordering it online immediately. There's even a few copies of a non-fiction book by that German author you were talking about, although I won't try to pronounce the name." I said making his anxious expression drop as he asked if I remembered which books by that author we had gotten.

He laughed quietly as I messed up the titles horribly, jumbling them up together or getting them entirely wrong since the author always used complex metaphors as titles that only made sense once you'd read the book.

I shook my head at him as he reached for Marilyn's pasta, and he raised a brow, leaning down to sniff at it delicately before going a little green. I grabbed a macaroon from the dessert table and offered it to him to smell to get rid of the pungent scent of the sickly watery lump we all had to call pasta. He sniffed at the pistachio macaroon discreetly as we made our way around the table.

I added more of the things to his plate I thought he would like. Making him laugh when he put a few nachos in his plate politely, and I looked at him like he was crazy, giving him a much more generous helping of them.

I forced him to try a brownie made by one of the accountants who made the absolute best brownies. Even better than Zeenat's mom, even though I'd never say that to her. Grabbing one for myself as well, both of our eyes rolling back as we took our first bites. Aspen let out a small moan making me laugh as his entire face blushed tomato red right after.

"So good." He said around a mouthful and I nodded, glad the accountant was kind enough to make a mountain of brownies so that even when everyone gorged themselves on them, there were still leftovers. All pack members who were bringing food took the day off work the day before the pack gathering just to be able to cook the enormous portions required to feed the entire pack.

"Let's find some place to sit." I said, and he nodded, looking back once at the brownies as we walked.

"We'll go back for dessert, the accountant who made them makes more than enough so there's probably a few containers full of them under the table to replenish the brownie mountain." I told him making him look relieved.

I chose an unoccupied table near the furthest back, far away from the food where there were much less people so that Aspen would feel comfortable. I couldn't help but wonder whether introducing him to my friends would be a good idea or not. They could be gentle if told to be so, but I didn't know if the company would make him anxious or relaxed after knowing a few people in the jungle of strangers.

We ate in silence, both too occupied gorging ourselves on the amazing food to be able to hold any sort of conversation. My eyes widened as I saw Nina coming towards me, I shook my head at her but that only made her quirk a brow at me probably thinking I was trying to hide something from her. Aspen tensed beside me as Nina approached our table.

"Aspen it's nice to see you again." My sister said, audibly making an effort to soften her voice.

"You as well Alpha Nina." Aspen responded quietly, his eyes glued intently to his plate of food, face tilted down so it was a bit hidden from view.

"I'm glad you were able to make it today, the Pack Alpha will be too when she hears you came. Parisa's told us great things about you, you're welcome at the pack house if you'd ever like to come over for a visit." Having noticed Aspen's nervousness, Nina crouched down on the opposite side of my chair to where Aspen was sitting.

"Thank you Alpha Nina." Aspen responded. I stuffed a piece of kebab into my mouth, looking around nearly choking on it when I saw who had decided to follow Nina.

I wanted to bang my head against the table as both Lola and Micah approached our once lonely little table. I was highly tempted to tell them they couldn't sit with us, especially when Micah started picking at my plate, crouching down between Aspen and I to do so. Eating the rest of my kebab quicker than I could tell him not to. I stared mournfully at his food filled chipmunk cheeks, missing my kebab so much that the urge to hurt Micah had begun to build up alarmingly quickly.

"We're Parisa's siblings, I'm Lola, and this is Micah." Lola introduced, rolling her eyes so discreetly at Micah who was helping himself to my plate that Aspen couldn't have noticed it.

Lola being Lola noticed immediately how nervous Aspen looked and yanked Micah away by the collar of his shirt, pulling him around to the other side of the table to occupy the empty chairs, leaving the two beside Aspen empty. Micah stared at my plate, and I moved it further away from him, with how much he smelled like kebabs it was clear he had been stealing kebabs from the plates of those that he'd spoken to.

"This is Aspen, I told you guys about him before, he works with me at the library." I said.

"How do you like Josephine?" Micah asked already sounding quite amused, his hazel eyes glinting.

"I'm not sure it's possible to like her when she's constantly predicting I'm going to commit some heinous crime." Aspen responded quietly, jolting when Micah started howling with laughter. Even Lola and Nina couldn't help but let out quiet laughs at the mere idea of someone like Aspen who's entire being yelled out innocence committing a crime.

"When we were all younger, Parisa a toddler, she predicted that Micah would murder Nina and take over her position as pack alpha, and then I would murder him for the position, even though I'm a beta. Worst of all she said to avenge Nina, Parisa would then kill me." Lola said making Aspen look up at her with wide eyes.

"She makes the worst predictions about people she doesn't like, when we were younger she still had her hearing and she heard us all talking about how her being a seer was nonsense. She spent the next few years predicting ways in which we would all murder one another." Lola said, a bit of a smirk on her face, clearly proud of having been heard. For some reason I refused to believe that even as a child, Lola hadn't known that Josephine would hear them.

Aspen let out a little laugh at that, and I looked at Lola only to see her staring at Aspen with a smile on her face.

"Tell us, how bad is Parisa at shelving?" Micah asked Aspen making him look at me with wide eyes. I smiled at him encouraging him to go ahead and tell them I really wasn't that bad.

"She's gotten better." Aspen said staring at Micah's chin as he spoke instead of making eye contact. Micah laughed loudly at that, teasing me about how Aspen was just saying I was horrible nicely.

"I'm alright, he means I've gotten even better like speed-wise." I defended, and the other three looked at Aspen for confirmation only for the traitor to shake his head slightly renewing the ferocity with which Micah was laughing. Nina patted my arm comfortingly and I stuffed my face with lasagna sulkily as Lola and Micah kept up their questioning of Aspen.

He slowly started to open up to them, even making brief eye contact with Lola a few times, but seemed more hesitant with Micah. Nina only observed silently, laughing when appropriate or interjecting only to defend me as I just allowed my siblings to shred my dignity in front of Aspen as I sat there using food for comfort.

Eventually they decided to leave, Nina excusing herself first to go see where my mother was and if she needed her, while Micah's stomach began grumbling and since I refused to share with him, he left to make himself a plate. Saying he would eat with people who were nicer than me, pausing to tell Aspen it was nice to meet him, and telling him to let him know if I ever did anything really embarrassing at the library.

Lola lingered for the longest out of the three, coaxing more words out of Aspen, listening to him intently. Smiling gently at him when he told her that his favourite part about working at the library was helping little kids look for books, or even helping them read since they sometimes struggled with words. She seemed to hang onto his every word, so much so that when her phone vibrated the both of them jumped a little. Aspen was a little skittish, but I knew for a fact, the last thing Lola was, was skittish.

She read the text and then excused herself, informing us some of her friends from university were asking after her. But before leaving she made sure to tell Aspen just how great it had been to meet him, and how much she had enjoyed speaking with him making him blush. A predatory expression appearing on her face that made me want to throw up my nachos. Seeing expressions like that on the face of your siblings was disgusting. Luckily as fast as it had appeared, it disappeared as well. She finally left, leaving us alone.

Clearly being a bit talked out, I let Aspen finish his food in silence after he made a quick comment about my siblings being really nice. Letting out a little sneeze right after and I realized he hadn't entirely recovered from his cold, you could even smell it on him, but it was mostly gone now, almost indiscernible under his natural scent. Which was probably why he hadn't been able to smell how bad the pasta was until he'd practically leaned into it. My eyes widened as I realized he probably hadn't even been able to tell whether Lola was a potential of his or not, because she was certainly acting as though he were a potential of hers.

"Dessert?" I asked as he finished eating and he nodded, looking quite excited at the prospect of more of those delicious brownies.

We wormed our way through the pack members to get back to where the food was, I was stopped a few times by pack members to chat, Aspen waiting patiently off to the side. Looking so uncomfortable amongst all the people that I felt compelled to keep my conversations as short as possible. I caught Lola looking at Aspen twice from where she stood with some of her friends. One of the alphas who had always been a bit obsessed with Lola, trying desperately to get her attention even though he couldn't seem to keep it the way Aspen did effortlessly.

Finally getting to the dessert table unscathed I couldn't help the words that bubbled out, regretting them a little since I probably shouldn't interfere.

"Lola's nice isn't she?" I asked feeling a bit idiotic since Aspen had already said all of my siblings were nice. He looked up from the pile of brownies, to nod, looking a little confused which just proved he either hadn't been able to catch Lola's scent to realize she was a potential which I hoped was the case, or Lola wasn't a potential to Aspen which was unlikely.

I perused the desserts, struggling to come up with a way to ask what Aspen had thought of Lola without making it seem too obvious. I wasn't very good at matchmaking. before I could get another word out, Nora and Elliya were beside me and I was convinced after this pack gathering, Aspen would stay as far away from me as possible during future ones if he wasn't scared out of attending.

"Hey Parisa." They said simultaneously, wearing identical grins on their faces.

"Aspen these are my friends, Nora and Elliya, there's also Zeenat but I'm guessing she disappeared." I said, looking around for her, not spotting her anywhere near.

"She went to go help her dad get more cookies from their car since we're running out." Nora explained.

"Nice to meet you." Aspen offered, not making eye contact but looking a lot less uncomfortable than when he had been surrounded by two of my alpha siblings.

"We've heard a lot about you." Elliya said and although her words were innocent, her smirk was anything but. She was going to make Aspen think I had a thing for him, and the last thing I wanted to do was get in Lola's way, not only because she was terrifying but also she was my sister and I would never do that. Aspen wasn't even a potential of mine, although considering how far out of reach the only potential I had was, I'd probably have to mate someone who wasn't a potential. Which was a bit of a sad thought, making me stuff an entire salted caramel macaroon into my mouth.

"Parisa's told me quite a bit about you two as well, she speaks very highly of you." Aspen said making the twins smile at me happily.

"Don't skip over the cookies, they're amazing." Nora said, and Aspen reached for a red velvet white chocolate, sending Nora a grateful little smile. Elliya grabbed plates for her twin and herself, both helping themselves to cake first since the twins absolutely loved cake. Elliya cutting a generous slice of the chocolate fudge while Nora went for the carrot cake with cheesecake icing I knew the elders had prepared with her in mind.

As we waited for the twins to finish making their plates, I pulled Aspen a little further, quietly asking if it would be alright if we sat with them. He nodded looking so appreciative of the fact that I had asked that I wanted to squeeze his cheek and mate him to my sister immediately, although I refrained from doing both.

We followed the twins to the table they had been occupying, Elliya easily kicking off the teen pups that had taken over half the table. For some reason all school age children were a little terrified of Elliya and listened to her very easily. I'd never thought to ask, but I was very curious.

We sat down around the table, Nora trying her best to converse with Aspen while we dug into our dessert. I laughed as I looked up to see Elliya had chocolate on her face and reached over to wipe it off with my thumb, cleaning that off on a napkin as Elliya gave me a toothy smile.

I was glad to see Aspen was comfortable enough to ask the two siblings what they did for work, Nora and him getting into a discussion about how cute pups were when she told him she was a teacher. Since she had only been teaching a few years, she was still teaching the younger kids. I didn't think Nora even wanted to teach the older ones, she loved working with little pups and was infinitely patient with them.

Zeenat still hadn't shown up but it was possible she had gotten caught up talking to some of her other friends, since she was the most social out of all of us. It was probably best anyway considering she was an alpha, and sometimes when Zeenat was with us, her brother Saad would come over to chat as well, which would probably only put Aspen on edge again.

I asked Elliya about the new books she was reading as Nora and Aspen began to excitedly discuss the symbolism in children's books. Elliya mentioned one we had recently gotten at the library and I made a mental note to buy it online since it sounded really good. Usually what Elliya liked, I would too. Elliya was a bit picky when it came to romance books, so this one had to be really good for her to be liking it.

While talking to Elliya I couldn't help but notice how well Aspen and Nora got along, Aspen feeling comfortable enough to even lean towards her a little when the pack pups got particularly loud and it became hard to hear. He seemed to do it more when Nora giggled which was understandable considering Nora had the cutest laugh in the entire world, a sound so melodic and chiming it felt like a victory to make her laugh.

I was glad they were getting along so well, although it was basically impossible to not like Nora. She was the most adorable individual in the world. Elliya was one of my favourite people in the world but it took her a bit longer to open up to people but when she did she was like her sister, impossible to not like. Zeenat was very sweet too, she'd be sure to put in extra effort into seeming gentle if she knew Aspen was a bit nervous around alphas.

Seeing Aspen standing there alone had made me realize how lucky I was to have all of these people in my life. I never wanted to lose them. I only hoped Aspen and Lola would become closer so that he could be a part of all this too. But even if he didn't, I was going to make sure Aspen would have us all as his friends.

A/N————————————————————-
I'm so excited to be back! I missed my readers so much, and of course the new ones are very welcome. I hope you guys like it so far, I'm extremely excited about this book. Next chapter will have more Alpha Mrow. But like my other books (for those who have read them) I've mentioned I don't do filler chapters and I still don't. All parts of my books are significant to the development of the plot.

I know I promised it would be up in the last week of April and it is now officially May 1, at least it is in Canada but I had a lot of trouble writing this chapter and deciding on the title. I still may change the title. I really really hope you all like the book, please let me know what you think. If you're a silent reader that's cool too, I am one myself so I totally understand. I'm so excited for this I had to scream into my pillow I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I am enjoying writing it. I love you all, have a great night my lovelies!
