Epilogue: Date night

It was quiet in the pizzeria. Everything was motionless. Lights went out. The moon illuminates every room that has windows to show how peaceful it can be without any kids running around or messes being made. Since there was no one around, it was time for the animatronics themselves to finally go on to do their own thing.

It's finally midnight! A red fox yelled as he stretched his metal limbs out.

Nice to hear that you're awake Foxy... Freddy scratched his ears. The leader of the original group loosens his endo joints.

The guitarist of the group, Bonnie the bunny, stretched before he set his guitar down. He made his way to the arcade where he counts down from 3 with his fingers up to perfectly time his kids meeting up with him.

Hey dad! The twins said in unison.

Hey kids. He puts the top of their head. Want to go game out?

Yeah!

The bunny trio made their way to the arcade. Soon, others joined in on the fun but on different machines.

On que, a light blue bunny entered the room to look for the rest of the bunnies. She finds them in the TMNT arcade machine with loud sounds of button mashing and joystick flicking. She heads over to the empty player 4 area to prepare to join in.

You guys in need of an extra player? Toy Bonnie asks as she joins in.

The small pink bunny nods. Sure!

Leave the pizza for me! I need it! Yelled the blue twin as he hurries Leo to the slice of pizza.

Bonnie continued into the game without any thoughts on his counterpart joining in. They progresses their mission to complete the entire game, however, Toy Bonnie had a question floating in her mind she's been meaning to ask.

So Bonnie... She started. Do you have anything to do later on?

Just have to clean up the stage for the night. That's it. The purple bunny responded with his eyes glued to the screen.

...Anything else?

The larger bunny thought for a moment. Hm... Not as far as I know.

The light blue bunny's eyebrow twitched. Nothing at all? She says with a small growl.

Bonnie sighs, knowing she's going to tell him off about something he probably forgot about. What did I happen to forget about that was so important?

Toy Bonnie mumbles what he forgot but was a bit embarrassed to say it. Our date... is today...

The three bunnies ears perked up after hearing that. Bonnie's mind clicked after hearing that. Oh yeah... He says. I forgot about that...

How could you forget something you said you wanted to do??

Other things to deal with and I thought you weren't interested.

I-I never said I wasn't interested!

Are they really arguing about a date? Bonbon asks his sister.

Apparently.... The pink bunny responded.

So is it going to happen? Toy Bonnie asks her counterpart.

Are you asking or really just going to bug me about it? He responds with a dull voice.

Well, it was a way to find out how we'd continue to make "us" work so I'd say we're doing it.

The purple bunny sighs as he finishes off the last enemy of the area. Fine, but don't expect the most out of me since I was planning to relax.

Then it's going to be a boring date.

After the final boss and a long time of playing and arguing, the bunny family went out of the way to check out what else they could do to kill time. That's when a familiar looking plastic chicken comes around the corner.

Hey everyone! Says Toy Chica. What are you all doing today?

Toy Bonnie waved. Hey Toy Chica. Just looking for something to do.

But isn't your date night tonight?

Bonnie looks at the two girls talking. Where did she hear about this?

I didn't tell her! Toy Bonnie snapped at him.

Oh don't worry you two. I have my sources. The plastic chick giggled.

That's an invasion to privacy... said the pink bunny.

It's hard to hide secrets in a place like this. Toy Chica pointed out. So what's stopping you two from starting it?

We have these two who want to stay with us. Bonnie points at the two smaller splitting images of themselves beneath them.

Unless you're willing to watch them for us. Asks Toy Bonnie.

Oh no, I have plans tonight. Sorry. The toy chicken finishes off with a suspicious laughter.

If it's watching us on our date we'll make sure to cancel and change our plans for a cock fight.

U-uh um....

The kids were trying their best to hold in their laughter meanwhile Bonnie was trying to figure out how what his counterpart said wasn't censored, despite the fact it wasn't referring to the male genitals this time.

Well... I mean the kids do take after you so I don't think they'll like being with me for so long. Toy Chica tried explaining.

That's fair. I think her voice will make my ears bleed. Bonbon said without a hint of mercy which earned him a displeased look from the older toy animatronic.

Yeah and her ability to be annoying is beyond anything I've seen before. The twin added on. And that's saying a lot considering I'm literally related with this guy.

You children are cruel!! Toy Chica yelled at the small animatronics. The parents laughed at the poor chicken from her being called out. Just give them to Mangle or someone!

Well, there isn't really a reason for them to be watched anyway. We're just stuck in this place anyway with no way out. Toy Bonnie shrugged.

Just like the fact we're stuck in a miserable small world we call life? Bonbon added on with a somewhat sadistic look.

That's a dark way to put it but yeah. Toy Bonnie returned the look. Just as no matter how much you grow I'll forever be your mother and command you whenever I want. Even if I have to do it by force.

Bonnet looked at her father with a confused look. How did they get like that?

Bonnie sighed. Well we are killer animatronics. I guess it's just natural... Even though we gained sentience and personalities.

The wonders of life huh?

Actually we kind of figured out why we're like this... But... It's not completely clear why.

Think it may be a beta test for a future project. Who knows. Shrugged Toy Bonnie.

Did someone call for me? Asked a white, plastic fox as she came from the ceiling.

A bit late for the timing. Said Bonnet.

I may be Foxy's counterpart, but that doesn't mean I'm as fast as him. Mangle pointed out. So any reason why I was mentioned?

We were wondering if you could watch the kids while Bonnie and I go... Finish something we had planned. Toy Bonnie explained.

The fox hummed. Sure. I don't see why not. I'd appreciate some company.

Bonnie thanked her. We'll make sure to pay you back somehow.

Just help me with any set ups and we'll call it even. Now come along children. Mangle leads the two small bunnies to another room, away from the older animatronic.

Toy Chica was about to calm down from the rude dialogue the kids had until Bonbon had to open his big mouth.

Yay! The better aunt!

Before Toy Chica would do anything, Bonnie pushed her back. Just leave them be. After all, you chose to not be with them.

Toy Chica growled. Literal small versions of you two...

Toy Bonnie smiles proudly. Definitely my kids.

Bonnie rolled his eyes with a smile. Well let's go finish our "thing" we had planned.

Huh? Oh right. Toy Bonnie left the toy chicken alone in the room knowing she's close to breaking soon.

Despite having nothing planned, the purple bunny did his best to put everything together, practically winging it. Meanwhile, his counterpart was giving him a deadpan look.

You did not think this far, did you? She asks in a monotone voice.

No I have not. Bonnie said while holding onto his stupid smile.

Toy Bonnie sighs as she grabs her counterparts arm and drags him across the restaurant. Before Bonnie could say anything the blue bunny quickly said, Don't say anything until we get there.

Upon reaching their destination, he finds himself in a room with familiar items lying around. A large sense of nostalgia hits him like a truck when he sees games, books, manga, and an old couch sitting in a similar position as he's seen his old room years ago. Toy Bonnie sits on the couch then looks over to her date. Are you just going to stand there or are you going to sit down?

The purple bunny was in a loss of words. He looks around before reaching the couch. He started of studdering. How- what-? Where did you get all of this??

Hm? Oh this? Well over some free time I was able to find some of my old stuff in the basement of the restaurant and I decided to make myself feel at home.

You definitely made it feel like our old home.... Bonnie thought. Memories flooded into his artificial mind of everything they've done together. Even now, with his counterparts position, he can't tell if he's back in the past or still in the present.

Toy Bonnie looked up at the mesmerized bunny then snapped her fingers. Earth to Bonnie. You still with me or am I going to walk out on this date?

Bonnie blinked for a moment as he remembered something. Didn't you say you weren't ready for a date until you said so?

Toy Bonnie rolled her eyes. You idiot. Did you forget? She earned a confused look from Bonnie. I'm the winner of our feud and if I remember correctly, you're supposed to treat me like royalty and let me decided what I choose what and what not to do. She says while standing on the couch to make herself feel taller.

Well I didn't expect our date to be a blast to the past of when we got lovey-dovey with each other.

The blue bunny gained a small blush as she stuck her nose up. W-well I'd like to make our date go smoothly and not with an argument with a change. Otherwise, this would just be a disaster.

The purple bunny sighed then picks her up, expecting a kick or punch across the face, to let himself have some space on the couch. Instead he received an embarrassed look from his counterpart.

H-hey! What are you doing?! She finally spoke.

Moving you so I can have space. Besides, we've done this before so I don't see the problem.

Put me down this instant! Toy Bonnie demanded until she felt Bonnie's hand slip. Safely!!

Bonnie carefully puts her down on the other side of the couch to sit on his side. Like I said. He spoke. Space.

The two were left in awkward silence. What else could they do with limited equipment and conversations left to talk about? After all, they've been with each other since the first reopening of their pizzeria. Especially since the whole "break up" and "trying to reconnect" problem.

So uh... Anything new I haven't heard about? Bonnie attempted to start a conversation.

...I'm not the type to catch up what's going on around here. Toy Bonnie mumbled.

Bonnie internally sighed, knowing this will get them no where. He looks around to find anything to talk about. Hoping nostalgia could kick in but all it brought in was the bad memories instead of the good ones but he couldn't understand why.

Something wrong? His counterpart noticed his silence.

Do you think we're trying too hard? Bonnie responds.

What do you mean?

Well, between our rough background and still going on with your secret it's been difficult trying to put it all behind us.

And that's your main problem. Toy Bonnie says as she gives him a miffed look. You're still stuck in the past.

Hold on hypocrite, I-

No, you hold on! I've learned something over some time of self reflecting and finding out how selfish I've been! Now it's my turn to be the smart one here! The smaller counterpart jumped up to make herself look taller.

Bonnie was definitely surprised from Toy Bonnie's reaction. He didn't expect her to feel offended by his comment.

The blue bunny continues on her statement. I get we can't change our past and make everything better automatically, but that doesn't mean we can't change the way our future. We have time to improve ourselves and forget what happened. She points at the purple bunny. You did what you thought what was best because you wanted to protect our kids, correct?

Bonnie blinked, looking from her finger back into her green eyes. Y-yes...

And I freaked out because I didn't bother to listen and immediately worried about them. I thought you just became the bad guy and tried to get revenge on me somehow... but that was just me overreacting. She takes a deep breath. We both messed up somehow. She reaches down for his hand to move it towards her face. Whether we wanted to or not...

At that moment, the larger counterpart had his mind click back to when they first met. Back in the old pizzeria where he was damaged. Replaced. He was standing in front of the newer Bonnie model with his own guitar.

That's when it came back to him. He was angry but his facial features couldn't show it. When the newer model reached out her hand as a sign of a truce, he instead reached out to her face and tried to rip it back off. That very moment that sparked the on-sight feud.

Back to the present, he felt guilt and a bit of sadness coming in like wave that's been building up for years. His hand was shaking as he noticed it laying on Toy Bonnie's face.

The blue bunny let out a small smile. I guess it just takes a little push to make someone realize sosomething.

As Bonnie finally finds his voice he looks back into his partners eyes. Who are you?

Toy Bonnie looked at him with a perplexed look. What do you mean? I'm Toy Bonnie. Your counterpart and... possible ex/partner.

But the Toy Bonnie I knew wouldn't open up like this... She keeps to herself and usually bursts into a fit of rage like-

A tsundere? She finishes his sentence. Yeah, but as I was saying. We tend to grow up. Even old habits can die off... albeit not so easily. She could see a whole new world opening up in Bonnie's red eyes as they widened. She gets off the couch and pulls him out. Come on. I think that concludes our date night.

Wait what?? But we barely did anything!

My my, now this is an unexpected role reversal. Toy Bonnie looks back at him with a teasing yet sinister look. How does it feel being the tsundere this time?

Before Bonnie yelled, he took some time to think about what he was going to do before he sighs in defeat. Not very fun.

Toy Bonnie giggled. Let's go. We have kids that are waiting for us.

I still don't get how you did a complete 180 on me. Did that mean you were fine with being picked up?

Uh... well no. She sees Bonnie slowly lift his hands while keeping his poker face still. W-wait! I said no!

What's the matter? Bonnie's face turns into an evil smile. Don't like having a 180 turn back at you? Besides I thought you liked being carried?

Not the way you're thinking! She runs out the room, across the entire pizzeria with the larger bunny following her.

That was so good!! A plastic chick squeals as she descends from the ceiling.

Can I please put you down now? You're getting heavy... Mangle groans as she starts losing her grip from the ceiling.

Don't touch me!! Toy Bonnie keeps yelling and running.

What's wrong with being carried?! Bonnie yells back with the same evil face.

The bears watch as they run past them. Carried? Is that what this is about? Toy Freddy says as he tilts his head.

I'm just as confused as you are, but at least it's not them fighting. Said Freddy.

Chica! I could use a distraction! Toy Bonnie shouted as she got close to her.

Foxy! Stop the distraction! Bonnie shouted at the fox near her.

Chica looks at Foxy who was holding a pizza box. You know what I want.

The fox groans as he hands off the pizza. You owe me pizza, Bonnie!

Oh come on! The blue bunny keeps running off.

Oh! Looks like someone is having fun! Ballora points to where the bunny duo are running off too.

I don't know how you can see them. Springtrap says with a puzzled look.

At least they look like they're doing better. Commented Funtime Foxy.

They playing tag? Plushtrap asks the bunny twins.

Bonbon and Bonnet felt no malicious or murderous intent from watching their parents chase after another. Instead they felt hope. Happiness of what they wished for back when they first saw them. Family being reunited.

A white bear looked down to them and up to their parents. He smiles as an idea pops into his head.

He grabs to two bunny animatronics and lifts them up. Hey Bonbon and Bonnet. He readies a position as they both were caught in surprise. Go get them! He lauches them across the air straight to their parents faces. And that's a touchdown!

A touchdown only counts when they catch them. Circus baby corrected.

Not in my book!

Ow... The adults bunny's said in unison. When they sat up they saw their kids rubbing their heads.

Dang it Funtime Freddy! Not cool! Yelled Bonbon.

Who throws kids anyway?! Bonnet added.

You kids okay? Bonnie asks as he gets up.

We're fine, but what about you two? Asks Bonnet.

The adult bunnies looked at each other, trying to figure out if theres anything they want to go over. But for now they just looked back at their kids with a smile.

Let's just say we decided to bury the hatchet for now at least. Said their mother.

Wait, "for now"? Bonnie caught on to that part.

The kids were happy to see them being parents for a change. They clung onto their legs since they were so small for a full hug. Toy smiles with a thought in her mind. Something she's thought of for a while. Something old... that could be something new.

Hey Bonnie. Toy Bonnie called. What would you think about the big secret coming out?

The purple bunny turned to her in disbelief. Are you serious?

She nods. Yeah. I think it's about time I start trying something to be popular on my own terms. Not something the company did for me on accident.

When will you plan to do that?

Sometime soon. If I don't, just blurt it out for me. Promise?

Bonnie was still shocked by what she's said to him. Never did he expect such a radical change to happen over time he's known her. The replacement, changes, closet incident, love complications. This was certainly a new start for both of them.

Hurry up. Bonnie snapped out of his thoughts seeing an embarrassed and shaking light blue bunny hold his fist out to him. Before I regret this decision.

Bonnie laughs as he gives a fist bump. Promise.

Toy Bonnie jumped a little from her own decision but shrugged it off. Alright. Let's go have our fun. A few hours left for the pizzeria to open and we got time to kill. She leads the way with the twins following her.

Yet there's no one around us. Bonnie looks around. Seriously. You're lucky no one heard what you said.

As if I'd say everything in front of everyone already. Otherwise, there won't be a special reveal. She turns to him with a smile as she leans down with the kids striking the same smile as they yell.

Baka!

Whooo.... There it is.

After a... near year hiatus... F*ck.

Sorry about that. Life got SUPER busy... okay I lied. I got lazy and got a writers block from not knowing how to do an epilogue but I did it.

I will admit there's been a few distractions... *ahem* New games, movies, and anime... but it's finally here.

I'll probably do another chapter answering questions if that's what you want or I'll just comment back if you're wanting fast responses.

Hope you all enjoyed and hope we all stick around because I want to do another fanfic. But this time something from an actual anime.

Stay tuned and take care guys!
