I decided to give everyone an inside look of this book. Such as inspirations, references, and other fun facts about this.

The story: originally, I never thought this would ever get far. I thought it'd be ignored but you guys have proved me wrong! Thank you for that!

I also thought about having 2 chapters ready after posting one so I can keep up with my schedule, but for those who've waited, you knew I failed on that.

What I had to do to make my story stand out was the plot. Whenever I read a "Bonnie x Toy Bonnie" story it usually starts out similarly. "I wake up in a dark room..." "It's finally midnight..." "I always wondered what was in the back room..." Etc. So I thought it'd be a good idea to skip ahead of all of the cliches. Except I knew I wouldn't do so well in the beginning.

I had to make everything accurate and had an explanation. It's how I make it feel believable and interesting. You can't just slap something into the story and expect everyone to get it after all.

Lastly, I needed a well built dialogue. It wouldn't have been easy if it weren't for the Personalities I gave everyone. So I just had to think of what would happen and what each character would say at the appropriate time. Along with jokes, references to canon lore, and my own head canon. I had to stay true to the series after all. So I had to think outside the box and find out what to do differently. That's why I post weekly.

The characters: I'll stick with the main characters first. Bonnie and Toy Bonnie.

Bonnie: Bonnie was actually something I quickly caught on earlier. I was on a little gaming series spree of Gears of War all on insane mode and I was currently playing the less popular Judgement game. I got the idea of Bonnie's intelligence from the main character of game Baird.

This fella right here.
Honestly, it's just the name that made me think "Bonnie should have this kind of personality". But it doesn't end there. I also made sure to add some competitive and guitar feeling to him. Nothing I can fully reference here, but all I can say is that he's kind of a kid of Ichigo, dense protagonist, and Sonic with he personality.

Toy Bonnie: Now people are going to want to know why I made Toy Bonnie a girl. Well, ever since FNAF 2 came out I always thought she was. Until the whole thing came out... Then again there was that one time Scott did say "yes" to gender... Well he's more focused on story than gender so that makes sense. And its what made me think how I should process the whole story.

The personality was kind of easy for me to operate with. Since she's smaller than Bonnie and took his body parts I thought it was appropriate for a tense rival with Bonnie. The whole "Tsundere" thing was exactly because of size. Thanks to the help of anime I was able to make her into one perfectly.

The references I used were Toradora, Uzaki-chan wants to hang out, Shakugan no Shana, and Zero no Tsukaima. (I was in a deep anime phase then... Kinda still am)

Of course she's also smart and a bit tough, but she can be sensitive if she has her weakness exposed so easily. She also has a lot of energy which is hard for me to put in. But it worked out either way with her cockiness.

Now for the name "Toy Bonnie" I couldn't think of a nickname for her. "Bonbon" was already canonically used so I just went with the original name... Even if it became a little problem from time to time.

Now on with the side characters.

Side characters: these will include Toy Chica, Mangle, Puppet, and Jeremy... And I guess Vanessa.

Toy Chica: Now she was actually inspired by another Toy Chica from another book. "Two of a Kind" by TMNTYolo. (Sad it never updated). So I decided to make my own version of her. I added some obnoxious, pushy, and cheery personality into her.

I've noticed how people did like and/or hate her but I can't blame them. It was kind of the objective I had for her. She may be a little annoying but everyone has that kind of friend no matter what... Unless you happen to be the annoying one.

Mangle: I'm a bit disappointed in myself for not including her as much in the story, but I'm glad how I was able to put her in when I had the chance.

Since she was an animatronic who was always destroyed and put back together I thought I should add some weird personality to her to show sign of previous damage.  So instead of adding some trauma/PTSD I used a personality switch. This is where the glasses come in. She becomes a workaholic geek who wants perfection in her works.

Now this is actually referenced to the lady in How to Keep a Mummy. I forgot the name of the woman but whenever she put on her own glasses she changes completely. So I thought I should add that in for a bit of comedy relief. Plus Mangle had to be different somehow.

The Puppet: Since he's supposed to be a powerful animatronic I knew it'd be a problem. But really, he's been kind of seen as an evil entity or a all knowledgeable person. But because I was going realistically I made him a stressed and tired animatronic who felt like he was watching troublemaking kids.

You could say he's some sort of teacher or role model, but he feels like a servant more than anything. He couldn't really do much thanks to advanced AI given to the animatronics so he couldn't stop anyone from doing something stupid. So he was just a tall, slender animatronic who disciplined anyone necessary.

Jeremy Fitzgerald: Now this is a character I thought would get a lot of controversy but I was proven wrong. Since I went along with the canon lore I had to make Jeremy prepare himself for the worst. So a shotgun added to the character felt appropriate. (Thanks the 2nd amendment)

Of course I didn't want him to seem like a dick to anyone so I had to make him feel defensive. How else would you react with killer animatronics that can rip out your spine? So he had to understand how the animatronics work and tried to get along with them the best he can... While not forgetting to keep his gun close at all times.

Originally, I was going to make him feel scared and kind of jumpy around everyone, but I thought that'd be too easy for everyone to guess. So I changed it up a bit to someone who've seen it all

Vanessa: Now this character is something special. Since the new game is coming up currently I wanted to add her in somehow. Heck, no one figured out the reference I had for the chapter I had earlier.

Now since there's major theories about her being Vanny because of names and such, I was one of those people who thought "Scott wouldn't make it that obvious" so I left it ambiguous.

In order to do that I had to make her seem like the weird person who definitely had secrets. Always stays to herself and rarely talks to anyone while always trying to seem stable and do the right things. So really anything you could think about her may be correct.

Rest of the cast: Since everyone else really couldn't bring much to the story (mostly because I was lazy to do EVERYONE) I just gave a quick script and detail to everyone so I'll do the characters that will be different from the usual personality everyone sees.

Freddy: leader

Chica: pizza lover

Foxy: Best friend of Bonnie's and likes to have fun

Toy Freddy: leader but more chill and lazy about it

Balloon Boy and Balloon girl: ...well... It's pretty obvious... And childish.

Now for Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie. I actually forgot about them in the story. They're rarely mentioned anymore actually. But they are directly linked to Fredbear and Spring Bonnie so I guess it was smart not to use them.

Now to explain the inspirations.

I already said one but one that always disappointed me was the unfinished stories. Thankfully there's those stories that always finish and make it feel like it has heart. Too many to thank really.

For an obvious one, Anime. Slice of life and romance. Need I say more? Well, I guess the rival kind.

Another one, Youtube. Really. Not the romance episodes or channels of any kind (not really good with those... Most make me cringe tbh) but I'm talking about the jokes. I couldn't just make a full on serious story without a few jokes. The main focus for them was the timing. I also had make it feel like the characters would say that so I had to think on that.

And finally, you guys. You helped push me on and made me motivated. Your comments and votes really make my day. Comments especially because I like having conversations with you guys. Especially teasing you for what's coming next. And yes I even mean now... It's not over yet. Not until!... Nevermind. It's 2021 rn. We all know something bad will happen if I say something specific to make me stop.
