•Austin's POV•
I hated the look on Alan's face when I didn't say anything back to Ronnie but I couldn't help it. I couldn't let them know that I actually cared about him, could I? I know it's shitty of me but I have to do what I have to do and I'm not sure that there's a way out of it. I could just say fuck them all and just be with Alan how I want but then there's the chance that I would loose all my friends but I could also loose Alan.
I shook my head and looked at Oli as he talked to Alan. I don't know who the fuck he thinks he is but he really needs to back off. I don't like the way he's looking at Alan and I don't like how Alan is smiling back. He's laughing easily at something Oli is saying and it's making my blood boil.
I stand up quickly and pull Alan with me. I walk us out of the cafeteria and outside behind the school.
"Austin what was that about?" He said in a quiet voice.
"I just... I didn't...I don't know." I said and ran a hand through my hair.
"Oh."
"I don't like how Oli was taking to you."
"He was just being friendly."
"Sure he was. All he's doing is trying to get with you or something I don't know, but he can back off. You're mine."
"Austin I'm not an object." He said quietly and I sighed. I pulled him to me by his shoulders and placed a hand on his cheek.
"I...I know Alan I just...I'm not sure how to handle myself." He gave me a weak smile that made my heart melt and break at the same time.
"It's okay. I can wait for you. There's a reason we were mated after all."
God. What did I do to deserve this boy. I had known him only a short while, I was a complete ass to him and still am and he's standing here saying that he'll wait for me to straighten myself out.
Without thinking I leant down and connected our lips together. Alan went rigid and I melted on the spot. Warmth flooded my body and his scent was strong, the berry aroma making me almost high. Alan went limp and relaxed in my arms as I held him up. Our lips moved back and forth in simple motions. No tongue and no rushing. My heart was beating out of my chest and I was about to pass out. I was intoxicated just from his lips.
Alan pulled back to catch his breath and his face was blushing as red as a rose. I stared at him in awe. This boy had such a great affect on me and i had no clue what to do. In that one moment my mind was clear and while Alan only inches away from me my mind was only set on him and his happiness, but I knew once I was away from him my brain would become scattered and confused.
I looked down at the small ginger boy and pulled him close to me in a hug. I buried my head in the air on the top of his head just taking in his scent. I felt him breathe deeply and his arms slowly wrapped around me.
"I'm sorry Alan." I said and he just nodded against my chest.
"I know." He whispered. "But people mess up so it's okay."
I squeezed him tighter and he was pulled as close as he could be at the moment.
"Let's skip the rest of the day." I said pulling away from him.
"But what about class?" He asked and I laughed.
"Come on live a little." I grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the building right past the office.
We got to my car and I opened he door for him letting him slide in. I took my seat and started the car up pulling out from the parking lot.
"Where are we going?" He asked after I had finally left the school and started to drive towards the city.
"Not sure." I shrugged. I just wanted to find something fun and easy going for us to do today.
I roamed around the city for about twenty minutes until I saw an arcade sign. I parked us and went around to open Alan's door. He smiled at me once he saw the sign.
"An arcade?" He asked with a childish look on his face.
"Yes. Now come on!" I said excitedly, letting any persona I put up at school fade away. When I was alone with Alan I wanted to actually be with Alan.
I bought us tons of tokens and I pulled Alan over to the basketball game.
"Austin i can't do this!" He said as I put the tokens in the machine.
"I'll help you don't worry Kitten." I stood behind him and positioned his arms and made him throw the ball. It didn't go in the first time and Alan was ready to give up. I repositioned him again, his back straight against my chest once again, and told him to shoot. This time the ball went in and he jumped around and squealed.
"I did it!" He cheered and I smiled at how happy he looked. I kept on positioning him until the time ran out and his eyes widened at all of the tickets he had won. He look so cute and I wanted this moment to last. I pulled out my phone and snapped a quick pic of him holding the tickets. I laughed at him and neatly folded all the tickets.
He moved on the the next game and eventually he got tired so I spent the next hour winning tickets. Making sure we had enough to get him whatever he wanted from the prizes. Alan was leaning against the machine and was watching lazily he looked really tired and I guess it was time for us to leave.
I gathered all the tickets and took them to the front. As the guy measured then I stepped up behind Alan and wrapped my arms around his waist.
"What're you gonna get?" He asked me and I chuckled.
"You are gonna get whatever you want."
"Really?" He said and turned to smile at me.
"Really."
The guy finished counting and told Alan he could pick out anything he wanted. He looked up at the giant stuffed animals and after a few minutes of debating he pointed to a giant baby blue colored monkey. The guy pulled it off of the hook and handed it to him. There was a few tickets left and Alan also got the guy to reach him a smaller orange and black striped tiger.
The monkey was almost as big as Alan and it was funny seeing him trying to carry it. I offered to help but he refused. We got to the car and he sat the monkey in the back seat then he turned to me with the tiger in his hands.
"Umm this is for you." He said shyly and handed it to me. I looked down at the stuffed animal and couldn't help but smile. Alan was to precious for his own good.
