"Okay so you understand now that even with that scarab he will still take things the wrong way," Garfield explained as he walked home with June.

"Yo June!" Dave yelled as he landed on Garfield's shoulder.

"Hey Dave, you're out here late. Sorry I didn't bring any treats for you," Garfield said as June relayed what he had said.

"Dave says it's fine he was running from a cat and happened to spot us. Have you seen Milo?" She asked.

"Nope probably in the sewer collecting things," he answered.

"Okay, oh hey he's home," June said as her phone buzzed and saw Milo up close and personal with a piece of plastic in his mouth.

"I found this shiny thing that glows!" Milo shouted.

"Awesome, don't put it in my room," she smiled.

"I won't don't worry, Milo out!" He said before the camera shut off.

"Sorry he found something that glows, probably a glow stick or something," she informed Garfield smiled.

"You know I really like how you talk to them. You know all of there names and you treat them like people. You even explain things to them so they understand and even tell relay things so they understand, not to many people would do that," he said as she smiled.

"Well they are important to me, so you are walking me home every night for now on?" She asked as Garfield smiled a bit.

"I can if you want me to I like walking with you. I missed out the first time we met so I guess this could be to make up for it," he said with a smile.

"I'm really proud of you Garfield okay? You don't need to beat yourself up about it all the time," she informed as they stopped walking.

"I know but you could have died and it would have been my fault be I was taking pills I shouldn't have," he said as she smiled.

"But I'm fine now and if it wasn't for you I doubt I would have made any real human and an alien friend. Still can't belive she can turn into that one form, she is so tall!" She chuckled.

June was definitely something else. June wasn't even scared of Megan when she turned into her true form infront of her. She hugged her and was asking so many questions about her form, her other kind, if she had other powers because of that form. She didn't freak out in the slightest or even act like she changed at all.

"I know, so what are your plans for the next week?" He asked as she looked at him oddly.

"Do you have plans?" She asked.

"Well I was thinking maybe we go swimming in the ocean on one of your days off," he said as she smiled.

"Garfield I would love to but you know I can't even wear a dress let alone a swim suit without getting really self conscious  about my size," she said as they started walking again.

"June you look amazing, I know it's hard for you to gain weight but you look really nice," he said as she smiled.

"Thank you Garfield... maybe I will think about it," she smiled.

"Maybe I should walk you home everyday until you give me an answer," he smirked.

"Then I might never give you an answer," she smiled as a light blush came across  her face.

They stopped by her house and she smiled.

"Tomorrow we should have a movie night with Roy and Zatanna, they are leaving for two weeks. I'm going to be apartment sitting for Roy and maybe brighten up his apartment a bit. He has been a bit depressed recently and I can't think of why," she informed.

"It's the mission he has to go on... it's dangerous and he isn't really a fan of Zatanna either. They fight all the time about anything and everything," he informed.

"Oh, that makes sense. But I doubt they will fight at my apartment, maybe we can have a sleep over with the gang! I know my place is small but I doubt we will be doing much sleeping. Just got to do it on a day that Tim doesn't have school," she informed.

"I really don't think that everyone will be able to fit in there," Garfield smiled.

"Well we haven't had a movie night in a while so maybe we should. Plus I won't make you sleep on the couch this time," she informed.

"This time?" He asked.

"Remember when you slept over? I woke up in the middle of the night and you were sleeping on the couch with me. I actually was going to scream because I had no idea who you were at first but then I realized it was you," she chuckled.

"Oh you woke up.... sorry you were tired and you fell asleep on me so I didn't want to wake you up," he said embarrassed.

"It's okay Garfield, I get it. But you know I have a king size bed we can share. It's not like we are doing anything weird and my couch isn't that comfortable to sleep on," she smiled.

His face turned red making hers turn red to. It was clear now she was maybe being to nice and giving him the wrong idea.

"I gave you the wrong idea didn't I?" She asked embarrassed.

"No, no, no; you didn't I get what your trying to say. You are just being nice I get it," he said as she smiled a bit.

"Thank you for walking me home, bye Garfield," she said as she hugged him tightly and he hugged back.

"You know you can spend the night any time you want," she said as he chuckled.

"I know but you have to work at the butt crack of dawn so I will let you sleep, Goodnight June," he said softly as she went inside.

He walked her home every single day after training and took her to Mount justice everyday. It became there thing even when Wally or Jamie tried to intervene or someone else it was there thing. Garfield wished he met her sooner because maybe he wouldn't have messed up so much in his life. But at least he had someone to talk about anything with, that never judged and helped him when he needed it. Even when his nightmares returned and they were so bad he actually stopped breathing while he was sleeping. Luckily for him June let him come over even if it was three in the morning if a nightmare was to bad he thought about taking sleeping pills to help him. He was never alone in his fight with his mental health anymore and he was now calling a councilor once a week to help with his problems.

Today seemed off and not in a good way. First June always sent him a text in the morning just a good morning message with a weird animal photo. Today there was none. He texted her first instead hoping that maybe she just slept in but she didn't text him back either. So he went to the Zoo and all the animals were freaking out and the keepers were trying to calm the animals down but every body was acting up even Jack who hadn't touched his food all day. He was pacing and trying to get out of his enclosure.

"What the hell is going on?" He asked as David landed on him and was frantically flapping his wings as if he was trying to tell him something.

"David?! What's wrong with everyone?" He asked as David took off and kept flying at his like he wanted him to follow him.

Garfield started to fallow him and went into an alley way only to find Milo  covered in blood and holding a tiny plastic thing in his mouth.

"Milo?! Why are you... if you're covered in blood and June isn't here then. NO!" He panicked as he picked up Milo carefully and put him in his pocket and took off running to her place.

June must have passed out and hurt herself badly and she could even be dead by now because he didn't even think about her iron being low. Dread filled him as he saw her apartment was slightly open. June never left her apartment open ever not even for Milo he had his ways to get in. Milo started squeaking and trying to show him the plastic thing he had but Garfield was not in the mood for it. He opened the door to find blood. Not a droplets but it covered the walls, the floor, even the roof. All of her furniture was tipped over and cut open like someone had been looking for something.

Pictures were on the floor and broken even her rainbow rug she got with Megan was gone. Garfield was frozen in place and couldn't begin to even imagine what had happened here. He slowly walked in and found her TV was ripped off the wall and had broken. Pieces of it were scattered across the living room and he went to her kitchen to find a large pool of blood and drag marks. It seemed to big to be June but there was so much blood everywhere.

He couldn't breath as panic was taking over his body. Her kitchen knifes were gone but two were logged in the wall and he quickly headed to her bed room where he found it trashed to. Her blankets were gone and her bathing suit she was going to wear today was laying on the floor. There was just blood... nothing but blood every where.

"June?! June!" Roy screamed as he dropped his bags and as soon as he saw the blood.

Garfield fell to his knees not knowing what to do. June was gone and there was just so much blood. Someone came and killed her. No wonder the animals were acting out Milo had told them...

"Garfield! Where's June? Did you see what happened?" Roy asked as he tried shaking Garfield out of his trance but he was gone.

"Milo? What is that?" He asked as Milo handed him the piece of plastic and Roy quickly looked it over.

It was blinking on the back and Roy quickly made it stop blinking by breaking the little transmitter that was on it.

"So this is what they were looking for, what ever it is must have been valuable.  Good work Milo, come on Garfield get up," Roy said as he helped him up and tried to get him to leave.

"Hey Roy... what happened Megan asked as soon as he saw he was holding up Garfield who had blood on his cloths.

"It's June. Garfield must have found June's apartment was open and there was blood everywhere. I think she's dead..." Roy said as Megan looked at him in shock.

"But June never hurt anyone! Why would someone hurt her?!" Megan yelled as Roy started to call everyone.

"I don't know, Milo had a chip in his mouth. I think it either fell out of a person's pocket or he took it and they went after her for it," Roy informed.

"We need to know what's on it now," Megan informed

"I font want to activate it until the others show up. Megan she might be dead," Roy informed.

"She might be alive to!" She yelled.

"She can't fight well and there was blood everywhere. Her carpet is missing, her bedding is missing, she may have hurt some people but all that blood some of that has to be hers," he said softly.

The others came and everyone was frantically trying to find something, anything while Garfield was still unable to move. She was gone and just saw her last night. He almost stayed the night but he said he was fine. He should have stayed.

"Okay I called Batman so he will be here soon. We need to check all the servalnce from the area and see if the police found any John does or Jane does. We are going to assume June is alive for now," dick Said as Garfield had tears running down his face.

"I should have stayed the night... I have been having nightmares and she asked if I wanted to spend the night. I said no like an idiot and now she's gone," he cried.

"June's tough she will make it," Megan informed.

"SHE ISN'T LIKE US! She only has had a month and a couple of days of training! She isn't going to make it! Stop pretending she is, all of that blood obviously some of it is hers. They rolled her up in her rug or bed sheets. They people don't do that with living people!" Garfield yelled.

"Garfield she will be okay," Megan informed.

"Like how Conner was when we thought he died or Wally! How about my mom?! They weren't okay they were gone for a long time! June isn't going to magically come back! She was the only one that noticed that I was hurting from my PTSD that never got resolved. She kept me from killing myself with sleeping pills and now she is gone!" He yelled.

"Garfield, I noticed it when Conner and Wally went missing and died. I noticed it when you broke up with your girlfriend a couple years back and haven't dated anyone since. I noticed it when I went into your room because you borrowed something from me and didn't give it back. I should have said something when you started to slip but it would only last a week every couple of months but it was bad this time. Boxes stacked on your dresser. I was going to confront you and if you lied to me I was going to tell batman but all of a sudden you stopped. I couldn't figure out why until you got that call in that warehouse.

But what really surprised me was that even though she had zero training she saved our asses with a bunch of stolen zoo animals and a crazy rat and a pipe. So if she can do that without any training at all imagine what she can do with what she has. June and I talked a lot while you were gone because you two helped each other and since you were unavailable she talked to me. She knew how important it was to make sure if she needed help she got it before it was to late.

Knowing how stubborn June is she is probably alive and kicking some ass. So stop thinking she is dead," Roy said as Garfield tried his hardest to calm down.

He was able to get his anger and his frustration under control but he still was upset that someone took June but who wouldn't be. Everyone was on edge now.

"Also I may or may not have put a tracker on her necklace," Tim said as he pulled up her location on his wrist watch.

"I'm sorry but why the hell would you do that?!" Zatanna asked.

"Well I may or may not stalked her to make sure she was fine and she may or may not have caught me. So I put a tracker on her necklace that is virtually invisible also water proof. She can also take it off that little stone and put it anywhere on her body," Tim said as  Kaldur'ahm sighed.

"I don't understand why it's so hard for all of you men to just be friends with a woman you all know she is under age," Kaldur'ahm informed.

"Her birthday is December sixth," Dick, Wally, Conner, Roy, Tim, Garfield and Megan said at the same time.

"Really?! You guys asked her what her birthday was?" Artemis asked annoyed.

"I just looked it up," Tim said smuggly.

"Tim do you have a location or not?!" Dick asked angerily.

"Well yeah she is in... Canada Eureka in Nunavut in a forest and moving. Looks like she is running," Tim said as it suddenly stopped.

"That place is usually cold isn't and if June is dressed for summer nights then she will freeze," dick Said looking it up.

"I think she just did she stopped moving," Tim said softly as he was waiting for her to move but she wasn't she was just there.

"I can get there fast and being her back,"  Wally informed.

"It's to dangerous to go by your self.  They could be using her as a trap. We have to assume they are using her as bait. People already have the idea that she is dating Wally," Megan sighed weakly.

"Let's go already!" Garfield yelled as he started to head to the aircraft.
