Danny and Jessica laid cuddled up on the couch, Catherine sat with her feet up on the loveseat beside them, and Sarah sat on the recliner.  They were watching tv waiting for Doug and Isla to arrive.

Suddenly Catherine sighs dramatically.

Everyone turns to her and Jessica asks, "Are you okay, mom?"

"I'm done with pregnancy."

Sarah laughs. "You must pay for what you did with my father."

Catherine rolls her eyes.

"You're getting to that uncomfortable stage, aren't you?" Jessica says.

"Yes!  Right now me and this girl aren't the best of friends."

Jessica laughs. "I can't wait until we hear her first cry!"

"What makes you think you're gonna be in there, little miss?"

"Why would we want to see that?" Sarah makes a face at Jessica.

"Aw mom, you got to see mine!  Why can't I see yours?"

"Jessica, I'm embarrassed!" Catherine chuckles nervously.

"Why?  It's a beautiful thing and I want to be there when my baby sister comes into the world."

"Aw." Catherine pouts. "I'm sorry, that's really sweet, Jessie.  You want to be in there so bad, and I'm pretty sure Doug would be okay with me just sending him a birth announcement."

Jessica laughs.

"You can be in there."

"Yay!  Thank you!  I won't be annoying, I promise.  I just want to support you the way you supported me.  And I want to be there the moment I become a big sister." Jessica smiles proudly.

"Is she not the cutest human?" Danny says before grabbing her and kissing her cheek.

Jessica giggles.

"She is pretty cute.  And Jessie, I know you won't be annoying.  I just didn't want you to watch me." Catherine chuckles.

"I won't look if you don't want me to.  I just want to be in there."

"You're the sweetest."

"I'll watch Isla." Danny says.

"Aw thanks babe." Jessica smiles.  Danny kisses her temple.

"You're welcome.  We're gonna have fun!"

Just then Doug opens the door carrying Isla.

"Oh they're back!" Jessica says.

"We danced the night away, then stopped for ice cream and pizza.  This girl is pooped."

"Aw she fell asleep?"

"Yeah.  As soon as she got her ice cream down, her eyelids were falling right at the table."

"Poor baby." Jessica chuckles and lifts her arms.

Doug hands her over and Isla stirs.

"Mommy?" She mumbles.

"Hi pretty girl.  Did you have fun?"

"I had so much fun, Mama. . . next year I wanna take my Danny too. . because he's like y best friend. ."

Danny's eyes widen and Jessica smiles.

"He's right here."

Isla opens her eyes and immediately wakes up. "DANNY!"

Danny laughs and takes her from Jessica. "Hi Best Friend." He smiles before making a face at Sarah.

"Next year you can come with me and Poppy, okay?"

"I'm looking forward to it, princess."

Isla giggles.  She then turns to Catherine and Sarah and says, "You two can't come.  Not you either, mommy."

"It's okay, baby." Jessica giggles.

"Can we go upstairs and you and Danny can hold me?"

"Baby, Danny's going home soon."

"But he doesn't have to!"

"Yeah mom, why are you kicking me out?" Danny asks.

Jessica laughs.

"Pleeeaaase stay."

Danny looks to Catherine and Doug with a pout. "Pleeeeaaase can I stay?  I promise I won't touch your daughter."

Catherine laughs. "That's fine."

"YAY!" Isla kisses Danny's cheek.  She then throws herself on Jessica and says, "I can tell you guys all about my date with Poppy!  Oh and Poppy said he'll take me on another date next week!  We can go to the movies he said!"

"If it's okay with you, mommy." Doug smiles.

"That sounds so great!  Dad, thank you so much.  Isla and I are so blessed to have you."

"We're blessed to have you both.  I had a great time, and I can't wait until our next little Poppy and Isla day."

Jessica smiles and stands. "I'm gonna get her ready for bed."

"Come Danny." Isla says.

Danny chuckles and follows.

"They are so cute." Catherine said as she laid back on the couch.

"Yep!" Doug sat beside Catherine and placed her legs across his lap.  He then reached over and placed his hand on her bump.

Catherine smiles softly.

"I know this little girl was a huge surprise, and it was an even bigger surprise that she wasn't a boy." Doug chuckles softly. "But I'm excited.  I love her so much, and. . I'm the best girl dad there is, so she's definitely being born in the right family."

Catherine giggles. "Aw Doug.  You're a good daddy."

"Don't forget Amazing Poppy."

"Yes!  And one Amazing Poppy!"

"Thank you." He smiles.

Halloween.

Catherine is 38 weeks and 5 days pregnant.

"I cannot believe my little sister is going to be a scorpio!  A Taurus and a Scorpio make great friends if you didn't know that."

*This is actually true and I love that because I always knew Jess and I would be great friends.🤪*

"I didn't!  I always thought Scorpios were mean."

"Well they can be." Jessica giggles.

"Mama am I a Scorpio?" Isla asks.

"No baby, you're an Aquarius."

"Does that mean we're friends?"

"Well actually. ." Jessica chuckles. "Technically no, but you're my daughter and I love you anyway!"

"We can still be friends?"

"Always, baby girl." Jessica smiles.

Catherine laughs. "You and all these signs.  I know what I am, but it all confuses me."

"One of the foster families I was with was with had a book about it.  I didn't have anything to do, so I read the whole thing."

"Aw."

Jessica noticed the sudden sadness in her mother's eyes.

"But it's okay, mom." She smiles. "I stayed to myself because I was scared of their dogs.  They were big and scary. . not cute and sweet like Bear."

"Hey Bear is Evil!"

"Isla don't say that word."

Catherine wipes her cheeks and says, "I hate that we didn't meet you sooner.  I hate thinking about everything you went through before coming to us."

"It's okay, momma.  We're together now, and everything else doesn't matter." Jessica smiles.  She is a special special girl.  Her smile always lights up the room.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too!  Now come on, we have to get going.  It's time to celebrate baby sister!" Jessica rubs her belly and wiggles her hips.

Catherine was having a spooky Halloween baby shower.  The guests were dressing up, and it was being held at the Huston's home.

"Gaga, everyone is gonna love my costume!"

"Oh they will for sure!"

"And Danny too."

"Well of course!  You two are a package deal, huh?  AND Mommy!"

"Yep!  I look so cute as tinker bell, and he's gonna look so cute as Peter Pan!"

"I just wanna know why I gotta be Captain Hook?" Jessica pouts.

Catherine laughs. "Because you look so cute, honey!"

"Yeah mommy!  But you kinda look funny too." Isla covers her mouth and giggles.

"Thanks."

"Gaga they don't have no more Wendy costumes." Isla lifts her hands and shrugs.

"Aw well, I think you picked out great costumes, Isla."

"Thank you, Gaga!"

"TINKERBELL!"

Isla giggles and runs to Danny. "Am I so cute?"

"You're adorable!"

"Oh my goodness.  And look at my beautiful Caption Hook.  Wow.  Jess you have never looked sexier." Danny smiles.

Jessica purses her lips.

"Oh smile, you goof!  You look cute!"

"I wanted to be Wendy!" She pouts and moves her leg like an angry toddler.

"This is better, Sir!"

Jessica couldn't help but laugh.

"Jessie!  Jessie!" Anjelica runs over to her.

"Hi sweet girl!" Jessica lifts her up.

"You a boy!"

"Just for today."

"Silly Jessie!"

Jessica laughs. "I love your costume!"

"Tanks!  I a clown."

"I see that!  You're a beautiful clown!"

"Yep." Anjelica sighs. "Put me down please."

"Sure." Jessica laughs.

Just then Catherine walks in and Zoe says, "It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown!"

Catherine gives her a look and pauses for a moment. ". . Go to hell, Zoe."

Zoe laughs. "Sister, you look so cute!"

"Thanks."

"And hello baby Pauls-Pauls!

"She has a name." Catherine smiles.

"What?!  Mom you haven't even told us y'all picked out a name!" Sarah says.

"Well we were planning to tell you all today!"

"Did you take any of our suggestions?"

"No." Catherine laughs.

"What is it?" Jessica smiles. "What's her name?"

Catherine turns to Doug and says, "Should I tell them now or wait until she's born?"

"That's up to y-"

"Her name is Holly!" Catherine smiles. "Holly Elizabeth!"

"Aww!  I love it, mom!"

"I hate that name." Sarah says.

"Sarah, shut up!"

"No, no, it's a beautiful name!   Aw. ." Jessica holds her mother's stomach and baby talks. "Sissy loves you and can't wait to meet you, baby Holly!" Jessica then kisses her baby sister.

"Aw you're so sweet." Catherine smiles.

"She's also about to poke a hole through your stomach, aunt Cathy." Danny laughs. "Jessica, watch that hook."

"Oh gosh!  Opps!  I'm sorry."

"Honey, you're fine!"

Jessica was walking through the hall after using the restroom.  That's when she was pulled into a  room.

Jessica gasped. "Danny!"

"This is my room." Danny smiles and closes the door.

"It's nice. . you need to pick up the dirty laundry off the ground."

"The bed is clean." He winks.

Jessica laughs. "You are such a dirty pig!"

"Oink, Oink." He smirks.

Jessica laughs and places her hands on him.

"I never thought I'd ask Captain Hook this question but. . wanna fool around?"

Jessica laughs. "Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!  Are ye asking me to Blow The Man Down?"

"And touch ye Booty." Danny smiles.

Jessica smiles and throws her hat on the ground.  Danny then stops and says, "Leave the hook on for a second."

Jessica laughs before wrapping her legs around Danny's waist.

"Well Yo Ho Hooooo!  Ahoy, Matey!" She says.

"Shiver Me Timbers!"

Jessica laughs and says, "I hate us!"
