24 weeks pregnant.

Jessica was beginning to feel unbearably uncomfortable. Being so young and pregnant has taken a toll on her body.

With every kick came a pain, and these days this baby kicked constantly.

Everyone at her school knows by now as well. Jessica hates the constant stares and whispers. She chooses to ignore it, but Sarah doesn't care and will practically fight anyone who says anything to her friend.

Jessica is still set on adoption and has recently narrowed it down to two couples.

Today is an exciting day for Jessica. Bill promised her he'd buy her a cell phone. Seeing Jessica in so much pain has made Bill soften a little. He feels for Jessica being in this situation. He also knows how much she wants a phone, so he finally gave in.

Of course Jessica immediately facetimed Sarah.

"You finally have it! I'm so happy for you, Jess!"

"Thanks! So what are you doing?"

"I'm cleaning my room. My mom thinks since our family is coming over tonight, they're going to want my room to be spotless."

"I heard that!" Catherine says from the next room.

Jessica laughs. "Well I can help. Bill, can I go over to Sarah's to help her clean?"

"Sure."

"Jessica, I don't want you cleaning my mess, you're pregnant!"

"Why? I clean up my mess." Jessica giggles. "I'll be right over."

"You're not walking over here, you crazy!"

"Why not? Sarah, I can walk!"

"I'll drop you off." Bill says.

"Thank you! I'm getting dropped off. Happy?"

"Yes." Sarah smiles. "Ooh ask if you can stay the night!"

"No Sarah. I don't want your family seeing me like this. It's embarrassing."

"Oh Please! My aunt had my cousin at fifteen!"

"Still older than me, Sar."

"Jess, it's not a big deal. Come on, please? She has three boys! I'll have no one to talk to!" Sarah pouts.

Jessica looks at Bill and he nods. "If you want to, you can stay over. And if Sarah's parents say it's okay."

"I'll ask!" Sarah runs to her father.

"Sarah!" Jessica giggles.

"He said yes! Get your pregnant butt over here!"

"Alright! We're on our way!"

Catherine told her sister about Jessica a long time ago, so she already knew the whole story. Jessica was still very nervous. She hasn't been around anyone since she started showing.

"I'm worried, Sar. Do you think they'll make fun of me?"

"If they do I'll break their face!"

"Sarah."

"They won't! My two youngest cousins are twins and they're only two. They don't know anything."

"And the older one?"

"He's our age and really cool. He'll be fine!"

"I'm nervous. I should just go home."

"Jessica, will you stop please?"

"Fine!"

"Thank you."

When her family arrived Sarah introduced them to Jessica. Luckily they were really sweet to her.

"This is Levi and Tommy." Sarah points to the two wild toddlers who ran around shouting with excitement.

"That's gonna get annoying real fast." Sarah says.

"Sarah." Jessica laughs and softly nudges her. "They're adorable!"

"Yeah, yeah.  And this is my oldest cousin. Danny."

"Hi, I'm Danny." Danny smiles softly at Jessica.

Jessica's breath was taken away. This boy had the most beautiful brown eyes, and a gorgeous head of hair.

"Hi.. I'm Jessica." She smiles shyly.

"I'm Danny.." He says with a goofy look in his eyes.

"You just said that, Huston." Sarah says. "You okay? What you smokin'? And do you have any extra?" Sarah whispers that last part.
