"So we're having a baby."

"Yep!" Jessica smiles.

"And we're on our way to Colorado."

She giggles. "We have a weekend free of parent duty!"

Danny smirks and Jessica immediately shuts him down. "None of that though!"

He frowns and lowers his head. "Yes ma'am."

Danny and Jessica spent the weekend talking and relaxing.  It was nice to get away together just the two of them.

Now it's time to go home.

"Should we tell Isla she's going to be a big sister?" Danny asks.

"Ah!  I don't know, should we?"

"I mean we could wait and let her ask why you're gaining so much weight."

Jessica smirks and smacks his arm. "Fine, we can tell her."

"Everyone else knows. . except my sister, but I have plans on FaceTiming her once I'm showing.  I can't wait to see her loose her panties!"

"MOMMY!  MOMMY'S HOME!"

"I'm home and I missed you so so much!  Did you have fun?"

"Not so much."

"Well thanks!" Catherine laughs.

"Poppy had to work ALLLLL Weekend!  It pretty much sucked."

"Don't say that, Isla." Jessica says.

"Sorry but it's the truth, Hoe."

"Hoe?!  What the. . Isla, why are you talking like aunt Sarah?"

"Cause I'm a fucking amazing influence, Hoe!" Sarah walks down the stairs.

"SARAH!" Jessica runs to her sister, bringing her in for a tight squeeze. "What are you doing here?"

"I missed you, sis."

Jessica cries and says, "I missed you too!"

"Now don't get snot all over me!" She jokes.

"And You stop cussing in front of my daughter!"

"Alright, alright." Sarah smacks her on the butt.

Jessica pulls away and looks into Sarah's eyes. "Isla doesn't know yet. ." She whispers. "We decided to keep it."

Sarah squeezes Jessica's hands and squeals. "I was hoping you would!  I'm so happy for you, sis."

"Can I know the news too?" Isla runs over and looks up to them, placing her hand on Jessica's thigh.

"No because you literally are ignoring me." Danny says from the other side of the room.

"HEY!  Daddy, I didn't even see you there!"

"I've been standing Right Here!"

"Oh!" She giggles and runs to him. "Pick me up, Daddy!"

"Aw my Poopy Poop.  You're forgiven.  I love you so much."

"I love you too, thank you very much!"

Danny chuckles and sits on the couch.  He sits Isla on his lap and Jessica walks over.

"Isla Bug. . Daddy and I have a very big surprise for you."

"Ohhh!  A present?!"

"Yep!"

"A pony?"

"A pony?" Danny asks. "You're afraid of Sarah's dog and you want a pony?"

"Yah!"

"Well it's not that!  something even more amazing!"

"Ooooh Okay!  Okay, what is it?"

Jessica smiles and takes a deep breath. "Isla. . you're getting a little brother or sister."

"What?" Her eyes widen.

"The baby is in mommy's tummy."

"Well I'm not sure I want one, guys."

"Too bad." Danny smiles.

"Mommy?"

"Yes?"

"Did the bad man put the baby in your tummy?"

That question hit Jessica like a ton of bricks.

"Sweet girl. . don't worry about that.  Daddy is this baby's daddy.  Not him."

"Oh. ." Isla looks down.  Every bad memory of Edwin and her mother running through her mind. "I'm sorry, Momma." She looks to her with so much sympathy in her big beautiful eyes.

"It's okay, baby!  Because out of ugliness came a beautiful blessing."

"The baby?"

"Both of you.  I love you both so so much."

Isla smiles and throws herself forward onto Jessica. "We love you too, Mommy.  And guess what!"

"What?"

"I'm so happy now to be a big sister."

"You are?"

"Yep!  I hope it's a boy!"

"God, me too." Jessica's father says making everyone laugh.

"Yep!  It's just me and you among all these women, huh Uncle Doug?" Danny walks over and wraps his around around his shoulders.

Douglas looks to Danny with no emotion.

"What's wrong?  Long day?"

"Danny, leave my daddy alone!" Sarah says.

"Hey I'm just talking to the old grouch!"

"HEY!  That was not nice, Daddy!" Isla makes a face.

"Sorry, Uncle Doug." Danny kisses his cheek making Isla laugh hysterically.

The next morning Jessica scheduled a scan to check on the baby.

"Look at that tiny little person." Danny's eyes lit up.  Even though he wasn't the one who created this baby with Jessica, Danny felt such a strong connection to this child.  He loved them just as much as he loved Isla, and couldn't wait to raise him or her with Jessica.

"That's our baby, Jessica." He smiles down to her.

Jessica turned to smile up at him. "Yep.  That's our baby."

As happy as she is to raise this baby with Danny, it hurt Jessica to know who this child's father is.  She wants so badly to have Danny's babies.

Two weeks later.

"I miss you like crazy!  Please let me quit school."

"No sir!  You need to stay in school, mister."

"But I miss you so much, Jess.  I'm missing everything.  How are you feeling?"

"Fine!  All you're missing right now is me puking after every meal."

"This sucks."

"I'll see you this weekend, big boy.  Isla and I can't wait to cheer you on at the game."

"My two favorite girls!  And my little man of course."

Jessica laughs. "You and my Dad are really hoping for that boy, huh?"

"I mean it's only right with all these girls popping out everywhere."

"Well we'll see."

"Yep.  Baby, I've gotta go.  I'll call you later."

"Alright.  Be carful."

"You too.  Love you."

"Love you more!"

The weekend rolled around and Jessica and Isla are going on their first road trip together.

"Jessica. I really don't mind driving you."

"I know Dad, but we'll be fine!  Seriously, Austin is not that far away.  Besides, we need a little girl time, right Isla?"

"Right Mommy!" Isla gives her mother a thumbs up.

"I promise to drive super carful."

"I trust you, I just worry."

"You're my Dad, that's your job.  But we'll be okay."

"Okay.  Well call if you need anything at all."

"I will!"

"Mommy, I'm sleepy!"

"You can take a nap in your carseat."

"No thanks, I'd like a bed."

Jessica laughs and shakes her head. "Honey, we're still an hour away from Daddy."

"Fine!" She groans. "Fine, I will just rest my eyes."

"You do that, bug."

A few minutes pass and Jessica smiles at the sound of soft snores coming from the backseat.  She sighs a continues driving.  Everything was fine, she passed a few cows and horses as she drove by.  Everything was peaceful. . That is until Jessica felt a sharp pinch in her lower stomach.

"OW!" She leaned forward and placed her hand on her stomach.

"Mommy!  You woke me up!"

"I'm sorry, sweetie!  Go back to sleep."

"Well I can't do that now!"

"I'm sorry." She says softly rubbing her still flat stomach.

"What's wrong?  Are you hurt?  Why do you sound like that?!" Isla began to panic.

"Nothing.  My stomach just hurt for a minute.  It's better now.  Don't worry, okay?"

"Your stomach?  Maybe the baby is hungry?"

"Yeah. . yeah, that's probably it."

"Mommy?"

"Yes Isla?"

"Maybe the baby wants to stop for McDonald's?"

Jessica giggles softly. "You sneaky little bug."

"I'm just trying to help the baby!" Isla lifts her arms in defense.
