Roman's POV

Day : Seven (Last day)

Activity : Sports

"Go Avatar team, go!" I cheer loudly and wave the flag happily.

Today is our last day here and it is sports day. I'm at the ground where different types of games are happening. Unfortunately for me, I'm not taking part in any games. I could go for running but since its a competition, I don't think it will be right for me to participate. I know no one here can hold up to me as a competitor. So I got stuck with cheering. It isn't that bad, in fact, it is the best I can have today.

Teams were made according to the sleeping arrangement. So I got my roommates as my teammates. I didn't find any game for me to play so I got to be the cheering guy. Four games will be played where each team member will participate one. The winning team is the one with many points after the four games. First game is cycling and Jordan is the one who chose that. Second comes archery which was given to Noel. Max took track and field while Nate remained with wrestling. Two of the games, track and archery has already been done. In track, we got on position 3 while in archery position 2. With the addition points, we are on position 5.

At the moment, I'm cheering Nate to kick his opponent's butt so that we win and gain some points. And I named our team 'the avatar team' based on my favorite 'Avatar: The last air bender'.

"And the winner is, NATE!!!"

"YEAH!!!!!!!!" I shout jumping up and down. I run to Nate in the ring and hug him, as do the other members of the team. With Nate winning, we are now to position three.

"Man, that was intense." Max comments and I nod.

"I'm glad you won, Nate. Jordan it's up to you now. Show us what you got." Noel speaks up.

"Alright...at one." I tell the guys and we stand in a circle, bringing our fists together. We count down from five, a number representing our team members.

"Five! Four! Three! Two! One! Go avatar!" We shout happily and break up.

There's still some time before Jordan competes. I offer to pick up water bottles for us, so I leave the guys and go to where the bottles where. I carry five bottles but one drops down. Before I pick it up, someone picks it instead.

"Need help carrying the bottles alpha?" A girl asks already carrying the fifth bottle that fell.

"No but thank you." I smile at her. "I no want trouble you."

"No it's fine. I want to talk to you as well. Unless if you are busy." She replies.

"You talk to me?" I frown. I don't think I've ever met or saw her before. But that is expected, in this place, I can't know everyone.

"Yes alpha."

"Okay. But I be cheering my friend there. You can join me."

She takes another bottle from the stock and one from me, so that we are carrying three each. I reach my teammates and we walk with Jordan to take his bicycle and let him walk to the starting line. I sit down on a bench I got earlier and invite the girl to sit with me.

"So what you want talk to me?" I ask while watching the race unfold.

"I-my name is Xena and I'm Drayton's mate-"

"DJ?" I interrupt just to confirm if it is the same person.

"Yes, DJ. I just turned 18 and moved into the house. Luna Cemil insisted that I come to participate in this gathering since I'll soon be Luna."

"Oh." I thought mama C was busy to attend the gathering with CJ's mating and all. So I didn't ask why he wasn't here but then this makes sense.

"He told me a lot about you. I was hesitant to approach you from the first day. But I didn't want to leave without talking to you since it's our last day today." She explains and I smile.

"Well, welcome to family Xena."

"Thank you alpha."

"No call me alpha. Roman."

"Okay. Roman." Xena smiles and I motion her to stand with me and the others to cheer for Jordan.

Unfortunately for us, we don't make it to position 1 after the addition points when the games finally end. But we get the second best position which is 2. We get a wrestling trophy because our team did well in that or more like got more points in that. Only position 1-4 will get trophies, the others not. Victor's team got first and they got an Archer's trophy. The third position got cycling trophy and the fourth got track trophy.

Since the games ended at lunch time, we leave the ground to clean up, washing away the sweat on our bodies. It was planned that the afternoon of our last day here there should be a party. So after the bathing, partying comes next to last all night long.

"Alpha, we need to have a meeting. There is something we need to discuss." Kiera says after walking inside my tent room. I had a bath a while ago and just finished dressing, currently tying up my shoelaces.

"What is it? I hungry, need food." I stand up from my bed and walk to her.

"Don't worry alpha. You'll have your lunch in the meeting room. Let's go, the others are waiting for us already."

She takes my hand and walk out with me. I was the only one remaining in the room as the others had already walked out on me. They were hungry just like me but I just couldn't find the right clothes to wear. We reach the meeting room and my eyes lit up at the amount of food on the table. I quickly take a sit and fill up my plate with the food I like. I moan when I take a bite of the fried chicken I got.

"Alpha we are glad to know that the food was nicely prepared but if you don't mind, we would like to discuss the issue at the moment while we eat." Chandler suggest and I nod.

"Go on." I say to her then take a mouthful of my apple juice. I groan thinking of my Ken. Apples.

"Well, in our details about everyone here, we noticed something." Kiera starts.

"Most of the participants this year are 18 years old which means they've just recently mated with their mates." Chandler continues.

"The thing about freshly mated couples is that the urge to stay with your mate closely is too much. Seven days has not been a simple thing to them. They've tried so hard to ignore their urges." Victor finishes.

"Therefore, we've decided if it is possible for them to leave this evening. There is nothing much to be done anymore other than partying. They were supposed to leave tomorrow morning but we wish if they can leave this evening. For other's sake." Nate concludes.

The room goes silent  for minutes as they wait for me to say something. I sigh and push away the  now empty plate. I finish my apple drink and get up from my chair, thinking about what the others had suggested. Everything they said is true. Many of the Lunas here are just 18years old and not forgetting me who is only 17. I too have the urge to leave this place and go to my Ken and yet we are not mated yet. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I was mated to my Ken. With that thought, my decision is made.

"It fine. They leave this evening but we leaders leave tomorrow cause there still work to be done. Everyone else can leave." I tell them my decision and Kiera whoops happily.

"Are you coming Roman?" Victor ask when he sees me just standing in the room as the others exit it to share the good news with the others.

"I call Ken. I join you later."

"Okay then. I'll be waiting for you to join us."

Victor is the last to leave and I sit on a chair then dial my Ken's number.

"Hi only," He answers and I smile hearing his voice.

"Hi."

"I was about to call you as well. I'm glad you called though. I take it everything is alright?"

"Yes everything right." I say and then proceed to tell him about my meeting earlier. He tells me that him and the other leader's mates will be here this evening and will leave together tomorrow. I smile knowing that tonight I'll be sleeping with my mate. I  really miss that.

I join the others for the party and it only goes for three hours before people start leaving to pack their things and get ready for departure. The four buses arrive and people starts getting in. Others come up to me to say goodbye before boarding their buses. Xena hugs me before she leaves and promises to get my number from DJ so that we can be communicating. I watch as one by one the buses start leaving the camp and when they are all gone, I turn around to go to my room.

"What you doing here?" I ask when I see Max, Jordan and Noel in our room. I thought they had gone without saying goodbye.

"Why are you asking that? And you don't have to be surprised, we didn't tell you goodbye so how can we be gone?" Max ask.

"I just thought,,,,maybe you-"

"No you didn't!" Noel gasp, standing up from his bed. "How can you think that we can just go without saying goodbye to you? I'm disappointed."

"I-I'm sorry." I apologise immediately.

"Yes you should be. By the way, my mate will be coming here with our chosen alpha. Alpha Noah wants to see his brother Noel, so he told his mate, Max, to be here. He will be coming with Noah's mate as well." Jordan explains and I nod in understanding. It seems they will also be coming with my Ken.

By the time the sun is setting, we all gather in the entertainment room for movies while we wait for the alphas to get here.

"Spencer will keep me up all night. He's like a beast and I can swear that he's the one to be in heat other than me." Noel boast happily.

I don't even remember when this kind of conversation started. We were watching the movie and from nowhere, it became the topic of discussion.

"Oh please..you haven't been with a beast. Sean is a beast in every way. He's big and likes it rough. Not forgetting the whips and everything." Kiera speaks up next and Nate groans.

"Will you please stop talking about this? You are making Roman uncomfortable." He complains and when all eyes turn to me, I blush in embarrassment.

"Oh I'm sorry. I forgot we have a virgin with us. Don't worry dear, I'm sure the king is bigger than the alpha of anyone here." Noel smirks at me and Max hits him on the head.

"Come on Roman, go with me to the kitchen for some more snacks." Max announces and I run out of the room and follow him.

We don't exchange many words as we collect the snacks and then go on our way back to the entertainment room. Before we get there, Max stops and shushes me.

"Do you hear that?" He whispers and I shake my head. I am not hearing anything. "Exactly. It is too quiet. Something isn't right."

"Run Roman." A voice suddenly shouts in my head. It takes me a second to realize it is Nate shouting at me.

"What? Why?" I ask aloud to him and I know he heard me.

"Alpha you should leave. Something is really wrong. You should run alone, I can't leave Noel. Contact your mate." Max orders me and run towards the entertainment room.

I take my phone and shakily start dialing my Ken's phone. It doesn't go through and when I try to call again, someone snatches it off my hand and pushes me to the ground. For some reason, I can't move my body but I stand up straight and somehow moved towards the entertainment room.

"Mistress. I found this one outside. He was trying to contact someone." The guy who snatched my phone and brought me in the room informs his mistress.

I'm thrown on the floor and can move my body. I look around and see my friends tied up, except Max. I turn to the one addressed as the mistress as she walks to me.

"Now who may you be?" He stops before me and tore my shirt, reviewing my skin. "He's not yet marked. I don't think he's of any importance to us. He will be released with the others and we will only take the Rolyn with us." The mistress snarls and walk away from me. She approaches Chandler and stand her up.

"We should get going then." The man who brought me says and he was about to pick up Chandler when I spoke up.

"Wait!" I shout.

"Don't be stupid Roman. Be quiet." Nate scolds.

"Don't worry about me alpha. I'll be fine. Please don't interfere." I stare surprised at Chandler. How did she talk to me?

"I knew that you are a Rolyn on that day I gave you a scan. I sensed your energy. You do know that you can communicate with any omega with healing powers, right?" She explains. Yes I had figured it out some time ago when I managed to talk to Edwin. But I never gave much thought about it even when I found out that day that she has healing powers.

"Why you say she Rolyn?" I ask the mistress and she purse her lips and walk predatory to me.

"Why do you ask little one?" I don't reply to her question from the glare that Nate sends me. "Well, the answer to that is because she is the mate to the chosen alpha of the north. It is rumoured that the north is where healers are mostly found. And she is the strongest healer in the north." The mistress explains.

So they assume she is a Rolyn because of that. I guess I could also assume she is as well due to how extraordinary she is when using her healing powers. But I can't be quiet like Nate said and let them take her away. I know that someone has been trying to get a hold of me for some time. And because of me, a lot have been killed. My Ken kept it from me but I knew about it all. He didn't tell me that many omegas had been killed because of me. They will kill Chandler as well when they find out she is not the Rolyn. I can't just let that happen.

"I'm sorry my Ken."

I sent him my apology and only hopes he hears it. If they were on their way here and close enough, he will hear it. I'm sorry because I broke my promise. How can I run and leave my friends? I can't do anything now, I only hope he finds me no matter where these people takes me.

I've been traveling and didn't get the time to update. Now that I'm settled at my sister's house, I'll update more. Sacred ties will be up any day.
