Roman's POV

"Why?" I ask my mate while my eyes scan the figure that he is taking with us to see CJ.

"Look Only, Lane is a friend, my student and a guard." He defends.

"But he no look-"

"I know he doesn't look it Roman but he is. I'm taking him-"

"He omega?" I cut him off too, asking what was on my mind.

"No."

"We go." I dismiss it, walking out of the house and to the car. Lane rushes forward and open the car door for me. I smile and get inside then he closes it.

Lane sits in the back while I'm sitting in the passenger sit and my mate is driving us. He didn't want to take so many guards and cars with us. But I know there will be shadow guards with us. They can't let the King go away without security. I smile and get comfortable. I've been waiting for this day to come. The day where I can see my brother's mate. I really hope he's good looking so that they can make cute babies with CJ but its fine if he isn't; CJ is good looking enough for them both.

"What is the smile all about?" Ken ask and when I look at him, I see he gives me glances but still focus on the road.

"Nothing."

"Liar!" He accuses and I gasp.

"No Ken! I no lie." I say and he chuckles. I scoff and look away from him.

I can't tell him my every thoughts especially the useless ones. Maybe he might know of them when he fully mate because he can read my mind then but for now no.

The long drive gets boring but I make it because I know I'll be seeing CJ at the end of it. When we get in the city, Ken calls him and ask direction to Uncle Liam's new house. It didn't take long to reach there and I sigh in relief when Ken parks the car. I'm about to open my door but it gets opened for me by Lane again.

"Uhm, thanks." I say to him and then look up when my crazy brother runs out the house screaming my name like I'm a celebrity he's never had the chance to meet before or something.

"Only watch out!" Ken shouts and my eyes leave the running CJ to my mate who points back at CJ. I frown not getting what he wants me to watch out for but then it hits me. Too late.

Soon enough I'm groaning on the floor with CJ above me and Lane beneath me. Oh Lane. I push CJ off and quickly get up to check on Lane.

"You kay?" I ask offering my hand to pull him up.

"Yes I'm fine Alpha." He replies with a smile and I turn to a pouting CJ.

"You no know calm welcome? Why you always pushy?"

"I missed you little one. I couldn't stop my body from wanting that kind of welcome. I really tried to stop it but it had it's own mind. I swear!"

I roll my eyes but smile at my crazy bro. I give him a hug and he wraps his arms around me. I rest my head on his shoulder and breathe in his scent. I feel him doing the same and we stay like that, liking the warmth and never wanting to let go.

"I want my mate back." Ken says after some time and we laugh while pulling away from each other.

"He was my brother before he was your mate." CJ retorts and Ken pulls me in his chest, a growl vibrating in his chest which makes me giggle.

"He's always been my mate and will be forever and ever." He whispers and run his tongue on my neck making me shiver.

"Alright kids. Come on in!" I look up when I hear uncle Liam shouts.

I drag my mate to the house while CJ and Lane follows closely behind us. I greet uncle Liam with a hug and he kisses my cheeks.

We started our journey earlier, not so early as planned because Ken had to take care of some things before we left. So the drive took us all day and we arrived at uncle Liam's just in time for dinner. We quickly wash up first before we eat.

"You tell deets." I urge CJ for details of his mate. We are sitting out in the backyard as we watch my mate and Lane do some training for the night. I look away from them and stare at CJ. He didn't look too great to be honest. He looked like a sleep deprived person who hasn't slept in days. He's just found his mate and I couldn't see the glow that he always said I had because of my Ken. Where was his glow?

"You kay CJ? You no look fine. You sick?" I ask with concern for my bro.

"I'm fine Rome. Just have a lot going on with me finding my mate and everything. It isn't easy like yours." He reply while looking at the two guys training.

I look away from him and back to my mate. It sure seem that it isn't easy like mine and Ken's mating. But it is still a mate and one shouldn't look miserable like him.

"You are lucky to have Kenneth as your mate. He loves you and I'm sure you love him too, that's what it is important. Love. Cherish it because others can't have it no matter how much they would like to because fate thought otherwise. Don't let stupid arguments and misunderstanding keep you apart from him. Don't let an argument go overnight because it may produce poison and kill your relationship." CJ murmurs and I look at him and see tears falling down his face.

For some reason, I'm not alarmed by it. I feel that he needs to cry but I don't know why I feel so. Perhaps it is how miserable he looks at the moment. I offer him my shoulder to lean on and he silently sobs. My Ken stops and looks over to us but I smile and wave him off to continue his training.

'Something is wrong with him. I could feel it the moment we got here. All those words he said before he started crying, I think he was kind of talking about himself. But he can't already be in trouble with his mate and their love life. They've just met each other. I don't understand.'

'I no understand too Lyn. And knowing CJ, he no tell us even I ask. He no tell.'

'I guess we will just figure it out ourselves. We grew up together and in those years, we know enough of him to pick out a problem.'

'I guess.'

CJ soon fall asleep on me and I call out to my Ken so they wrap up the training for the night. He carries Cemil to bed and I tuck him in. We go to our room and Ken showers while I get ready for bed. He joins me in bed after his shower and holds me in his arms.

"What are you thinking about?"

"I think CJ no fine."

"Is he sick? That's rare."

"No physical sick. Emotional. Something wrong Ken, I know it wrong."

"Alright Only. Let's sleep and you will think all about it tomorrow."

I nod, agreeing to think about it tomorrow and then fall asleep in his arms.

My Ken wakes me up and send me in the bathroom to get ready. I take my time bathing and then dressing. Ken already left the room for breakfast downstairs. I go down to the dining room and greet everyone then sit down next to Ken. A doorbell sounds and uncle Liam jump up from his chair and run out to open it. He then comes back with a man who is holding him on the waist.

"Kenneth, Roman and Lane, this is my mate and boyfriend Ash." He introduces and we greet Ash. We all start eating in silence until Ken breaks it by talking to me.

"I forgot to tell you that I'm meeting a friend for some time this morning. I called him a while ago."

"I go with you?" I ask and he shakes his head.

"No." He replies.

I nod and then continue eating but then CJ stands up bluntly, shaking the table. He pushes his chair back and it falls with a thud on the carpet. He runs to the bathroom and I quickly go after him. I find him heaving on the toilet. I pat his back to help make him feel better. Ken comes to check on us and I tell him to bring a glass of water. He doesn't come back and in his stead uncle Liam walks in with the water. After CJ cleans his mouth and drank the water, we walk back to the dining room.

"I can check you up to see if something is wrong." Ash offers but CJ waves him off.

"It's nothing really and I'm fine. The bacon is to blame. It smells and taste funny." He replies with a scrunched up nose.

"But I prepared it the way you like it and I'm eating it as well and it's really fine." Uncle Liam says and CJ shrugs.

"It really isn't smelling good and it made me sick. I think it-" CJ doesn't finish the words and run back to the toilet. The heaving is even heard from where we are standing.

"Alright that's it! The bacon goes in the trash." Ash announces and he carries the bacon off the table while I fill up the empty glass with water again and go check on CJ.

The eventful breakfast pass by and CJ looks better once again with all the bacon gone.

"I have to go meet my friend." Ken speaks up and I get off the couch I was sitting at and walk to him. He is putting on shoes, ready to head out. I see Lane already waiting for him outside.

"He going?" I ask.

"Yes Only."

"Can you drop us off somewhere?" CJ ask Ken and he nods.

"Put on your shoes little one." CJ instructs and I hurry up putting them on.

We all get in the car and Ken drives off. After a while he ask where to drop us off.

"We are going with you." He replies and Ken stops the car on the side and turn around to look at us. We are sitting in the back with Lane in the passenger sit.

"What?" Ken ask.

"You heard me Kenneth. We are going with you."

"We are?" I ask CJ.

"Yes." He smiles at me and I smile back catching on.

"Only," Ken calls and I look at him.

"We are going with you Ken~bae now drive off." I tell him and he sighs.

"Fine. I'll leave you with Charles since we are going at his work place." He grumbles and I giggle happily since he didn't argue with me.

We reach the place and once parked we get off and walk inside. He talks to the woman behind the desk at the reception and then we walk away. The elevator takes us to the top floor and once off it, he walks to a closed door and knock. The door has Charles name on it and his position in the company.

"Excuse me," a voice says and we all look behind us.

"Yes?"

"Uhm, sir Charles isn't in at the moment. Perhaps you can stop by later." The woman says and Ken sighs looking at me and CJ.

"Alright, thanks." He say to the woman and she leaves.

"You three will wait here. I have to talk to the CEO alone." He demands.

"Can we just say hi?" CJ ask and I nod.

"We promise no take time. Just hi." I add.

"Fine. Come on."

We walk behind him as he leads the way. He knocks at a door and then walks in first, with the rest of us following behind. I don't hear what my mate says the moment we get in the doorway because of the pain on my arm. I look at CJ with a frown at why he is gripping my hand in such a way.

His heart beat starts beating so fast and when I saw his gaze straight on to something, I follow in the direction and see a man standing behind his messy desk also looking at CJ strangely. I guess he is the CEO and friend of my Ken.
