Viren watches as his daughter and niece leave the house for shopping. He moves to his room and looks at the photo frame that's beautifying the side table. It's his wife's picture. He smears her face with a thumb.

"I've got everything but not you. Agar tum mere sath hoti toh baat kuch aur hoti." He says softly.

"I miss you, Bulbul. I really do. Lekin shayad hamari kismat mein saath likha hi nahi tha." Viren speaks, putting her heart out.

She's Bulbul Singhania, Viren's beloved wife and Anamika's mother. An unfortunate incident broke this little family of three. It was when Anamika was 5 years old. Bulbul was driving back home when she met with an accident. She couldn't survive the accident as she was hurt in her head and had internal bleeding.

After her demise, Viren never re-married. His sister tried to convince him but he never agreed. He just wanted to live with the memories of his late wife and their daughter. Since then, It's just Viren and Anamika. Their added family is Viren's sister and her family.

He sighs deeply and kisses the picture of his late wife as if seeking her good wishes. He keeps the frame on the table and then leaves for his meeting. Also, he has to meet his daughters at the shopping mall. He can't afford their anger, for, Anamika and Raina are his rays of sunshine. Viren wants to finish his meeting quickly and join his girls.

Singhania Industries

Viren reaches his office and finds the manager waiting for him. He informs Viren that delegates will arrive soon and that he should check the presentation as well. Viren nods and gets busy with his work.

Two hours later, Viren beams at the foreign clients and shakes hands with them. He has surely bagged the deal. He thanks them and then the delegates take their leaves. As they leave, Viren checks his watch and finds that it is 1 PM. He should reach the mall and then take Anamika and Raina for lunch. He promised them, after all. Viren asks the manager to finalise the papers and that they will start working on the deal the next day. The manager agrees with Viren and they leave for their homes-it's Sunday after all. They had to meet the delegates, work comes first.

Max Orbit Mall

Viren reaches the mall and makes a call to his daughter but the girl didn't take the call. He looks around the mall searching for both the girls when someone entangles their hands in his hand. He is startled but relaxes at the moment to find Anamika beside him.

"Where were you, Princess? I was trying to call you." Viren says, tapping the girl's cheek.

"Mujhe pata nahi chala, dadda! Hum log handbags wali shop pe they." Anamika informs.

"Raina kahan hain?" He asks.

"I'm here! Main apni dost ko bahar tak chodne gayi thi." Raina says as she entangles her hands with Viren's other hand.

"Okay! Toh shopping ho gayi tum dono ki?" Viren looks at both the girls.

"Yass!! Chalo na lunch karne jaate hain." Anamika says softly.

"Okay, let's go." Viren smiles brightly at the moment.

Viren holds their hands and leads their way out of the mall. He drives to their favourite restaurant - Hotel Royal Inn. Raina and Anamika chuckle as they see the hotel. They hop out of the car and Viren parks the car at an appropriate place. As he follows the girls inside the restaurant, he finds the two girls sitting at a corner table and it seems like they've already ordered something. Viren looks at Anamika who giggles, assuring his doubt.

"So, what's cooking?" He raises his eyebrows at both the sisters.

"Something something!" Anamika says licking her lips.

"And what is it?" Viren asks softly.

"Hum kyun batayen? Khud dekh lena." Raina chuckles softly.

"Arey, ye toh galat hain! Tum dono akele akele shopping kar rahe they. Ab kuch bata bhi nahi rahe! Very bad!" Viren makes a face at his daughters.

"Toh hum kya karein? Kaam aap kar rahe they. Humne thodi kaha tha ki aap kaam karo." Anamika shrugs her shoulders.

"Exactly! Aapko aur Dadda toh bas kaam hi rehta hai." Raina makes a face.

"Arey, tum dono fir se shuru hogaye. Kaam khatm karke aa gaya na main." Viren makes a face.

"Han han, aap aisa hi bologe. Lekin aapko shopping mein bhi sath rehna tha. Lekin nai!!" Anamika says mocking sadness.

"Lekin abhi important cheez baaki hain." Raina chuckles.

"And what is that?" Viren looks at Raina.

"Hum beach pe jayenge." Anamika says, as the atmosphere is a little cool and the sun isn't sharp.

"Han aur fir ghar jayenge. Mumma ne bola hai ki aap hi chalo mere sath, papa nahi aa payenge." Raina says softly, though, Viren knows that it's his sister's trick to bring him home.

Since the demise of his wife, Viren has turned silent and prefers spending time with his daughter. But, there are some duties towards his sister. Viren trails down memory lane remembering the sweet memory of his wife.

*Flashback Begins*

It's the time when Ruhana was pregnant with Raina. She used to visit the office with Vineet at that time. At that time, Vineet and Viren were working together.

It's a new day when Vineet, Ruhana and Viren were in a meeting. After finalising the deal, Viren leaves the office assuring that he will bring Bulbul to her home and they will have their dinner together. Ruhana agrees to it. She loved to have her brother and his wife along with her at home.

An hour later, Ruhana is relaxing on the couch in Vineet's cabin. He has asked her to go home but she denies.

"Ruu, please. Main Raghu ko bolta hoon na wo tumhe ghar drop kar dega." Vineet says.

"Noo! Hum saath mein jayenge. Tum jaldi se kaam khatm karlo. Mujhe ghar pe akele nahi rehna." Ruhana says making a face.

"Dekho, zidd nahi karo Ruu. Aaj already exhausting raha tumhare liye." Vineet tries to convince his wife.

"Vineet! Maine kaha na ki mujhe akele nahi jana! Ab tum time waste nahi karo, kaam khatm karo." Ruhana says while looking at him.

Vineet shakes his head. He knows she won't go alone. Nowadays, she's having mood swings and she wants him beside her. She avoids staying alone these days. Even Vineet hates to leave her alone, but at the same time, he doesn't want that Ruhana stresses herself, specially when she's carrying a new life inside her. And someone has to work, he is already working from home most of the time while spending time with his wife, but there are times when he has to visit office and meet people for the projects he's handling. During this time, the only saviour is Bulbul, Viren's wife, who comes to stay with Ruhana. But since a week, she's away for some exhibition.

Vineet continues to wrap his work as he glances at Ruhana who's sitting on the couch with closed eyes. Meanwhile, there's a knock on the door.

"Dii!" a girl peeps in the cabin.

"Bulbul!" Ruhana opens her eyes and smiles on spotting Bulbul at the door.

"Tu kab aayi? Aur seedhe yahan?" Ruhana is astonished.

"Main bas ek ghante pehle lauti hoon. Airport se seedhe office gayi, ek meeting thi aur phir yahan aayi." Bulbul says.

"Arey toh ghar jana chahiye tha na!" Ruhana says patting her cheeks.

"Han toh ab hum ghar jayenge na. Chalo, main aapko lene aayi hoon." Bulbul chuckles.

"Vineet, tumne bulaya isey?" Ruhana rolls her eyes at her husband who nods negatively.

"Ye tumse hi baat karti hain. Mujhse nahi, toh main kaise bulaun isey?" Vineet makes a face.

"Arey! Main apni marzii se aayi hoon, Di. Viren ne kaha ki aap ghar pe aana chahti thi lekin main nahi thi. Par ab main aa gayi hoon na. Hum ghar jayenge, phir godh bharai ki taiyari bhi toh karni hain." Bulbul says, keeping her hand on Ruhana's protruding belly.

"Viren ne tumhe bataya ki main office mein hoon?" Ruhana asks.

"Wo toh kal hi bataya tha usne. He was saying wo mujhe lene aa nahi payega kyunki aap logon ki meeting hain. Aur phir, jiju ke sath aap nahi aate ho. Isliye aapko leke jana padega. Varna jiju aapko akele bhi nahi chodenge." Bulbul says teasingly.

Well, that's true. Ruhana is entering her seventh month, and as per the rituals, they need to have the baby shower ceremony, which Viren wants to host for his sister. Ever since, Ruhana and Viren have been the only family to each other. Now, that they've found partners, they're happy in their lives. But, some things are there which they still wanna do, and it's vice versa in Bulbul and Vineet's case.

Vineet hasn't left Ruhana alone any day. Now, Bulbul is all excited to hold the baby shower with the role of a sister-in-law, and Ruhana can't deny it. She smiles patting her cheek.

"Waise na, jiju chahe toh aa sakte hain. I mean, wo bhi toh aapka hi ghar hain. Hum sath mein reh sakte hain, kuch dinon ke liye." Bulbul says, remembering the incident when she was down with viral fever, Viren had almost sent her to RuVi's home because he didn't want Bulbul to be alone.

Ruhana smiles and Vineet nods affirmatively. He assures Ruhana that she should go with Bulbul and that he will pack some stuff and come to their home.

Bulbul chuckles and helps Ruhana to get up and takes her home, bidding bye to Vineet.

*Flashback Ends*

Viren smiles, that's when Raina and Anamika chid him. The two girls say something that leaves him astonished.
