Jack's P.O.V.

Is been weeks since I gave up on myself. Negative thinking came swirling around my brain turning everything into darkness. I fought it hard, with all my strength, but Pitch's magic became too strong for me to hold off on my own. It killed me, separated me from, well, myself.

All I felt for the guardians was hatred. The stupid guardians who thought they were protecting the children. And my idiot sister who lied to me every time telling me that she loved me. 

"Hello? Jack!" Nico Di Angelo waved his fingers in front of me, making me snap back to reality. 

"What?" I growled. Oh I even have anger issues now, thanks to the mighty Pitch. He casted a dark magic on me to make sure that I was the jerk that I was now which I am now, the "Bad Jack," as he had called me.

When my staff was broken, I lost my power and Pitch made me emotionless. Well, there were emotions left in me, but only two, anger and hatred. That explained how I felt toward the guardians and my sister.

The dark magic that Pitch casted on me gave me new power, I had the black sand which Pitch used to create the darkness in me, I can swallow a person in fear and cause death by using the sand.

I also can freeze things by touching them just like  the power I used to have. Where was my staff? Pitch said that he kept it in some 'safe place' that no one knew. I don't need it anyway.

"Pay attention Jack. I am talking to you." Pitch said sternly. 

"What is it Pitch?" I rolled my eyes.

"What did I say? You have to call me master."  I rolled my eyes again upon hearing his words. Every magic had a loop hole, apparently the dark magic he casted on me did not sire me to him. 

"Jack I want you to attack the guardians as a warning sign from me. Nico will go kidnap Jamie." Pitch commanded.

"Whatever. When do I start?" I asked, bored. 

"Tonight." Pitch answered me, a smile dancing on his thin lips.

I reached out my hand for Nico to take it so that we can fly to North's workshop together. 

He shook his head and said, "I can shadow travel there myself, anyway I'm going to Burgess, genius."

"Shadow travel?" I asked stupidly.

"It's one of my gifts. I will meet you back here." He gestured to Pitch's tunnel in which we were currently living.

I watched him as darkness overwhelmed him. In next second, he was gone and I flew off to North's workshop.

I circled North's workshop in the air, trying to see where the guardians were. Fortunately, I saw them all gathered together in the room which the big globe with little lights that represented the children who believed.

I slowed myself down and flew to the windows. I froze the window and with one knock, the window shattered into tiny pieces. I gladly allowed myself into the room. 

"Hello fellow guardians!" I said loudly to catch their attention. They turned around with a surprise look on their faces.

"Jack? You're safe! We were worried sick about you!" Tooth surprised face turned into a big grin.

I landed on the floor smoothly and smiled my 'wonderful' smile at them. "Telling me lies? Tooth am I right?" I said.

"Is there any thing wrong? What lies?" North raised an eyebrow, sensing something is wrong.

"Mate, are you joking?" Oh now the kangaroo spoke up. Many symbols were floating in Sandy's head. I had no idea what they meant.  Something about a snowflake under the sun? Under the sea?

"I am sorry, but I have to do this," I smirked at the oh so powerful guardians with no remorse. Just by thinking how I was one of them made me sick. They all looked at me confusedly but I ignored them.

I started fighting them. I tried to freeze all of the them to death. I really did try, but one versus four? That was insane. The next moment I knew I was on the ground, North with one of his swords pointing at my throat.

That's when Nico showed up. Why he was there? I had no idea.

Nico stood there doing nothing while a sword was pointed at my throat. Unforgivable.

"Jack, please just go we don't want to hurt you." Tooth looked at me in the eyes.

"Don't know if you noticed but, he tried to kill us. Let's just finish him off." Bunny said fiercely, although the tone in his voice led me to believe he obviously can't process that I am now his enemy. We used to annoy each other and laugh at each other's faces, although we were friends in a weird way. Hold on - what am I thinking? I am Bad Jack! These emotions do not cross my mind!

"This is not the Jack we knew, but I believe he soon will realise we are not the enemy." North tried to convince Bunny that I will have a change of heart. 

"Come on North, kill me. Don't be such a coward. Kill me." I lifted up a corner of my mouth and said confidently.
