Nightstream opened her eyes, gazing around the start clearing that surrounded her. She didn't recognize this place. Suddenly the stars around her began to shape into silhouettes of cats. "Nightstream.." A cat called out. The she-cat turned torwards the cat. She recognized him as Jaystar, the leader of her clan, Birchclan, before Goldstar. "Jaystar!" Nightstream smiled but the leader didn't reply to her, his expression grim.

"The Life you know is soon going to change," the leader continued, "You must be ready." "What do you mean? I'm just a normal warrior." Nightstream said looking at the ground. "There is a cat borne from stone who will lead the clan to its demise, you must stop them."

"What? How can I.." before she could finish, the cats around her disappeared and she had awoken in the warriors den.
