accepted like a pup

[A\N:I used Rascal (Adam's Dog irl) in the last chapter, except he was a wolf, I didn't wanna add random OCs into the story because it'd be a bit annoying or boring, since there would be a name that I'd have to keep on adding, and doesn't even have any relation to the characters at all.

this is mainly set around the minecraftians known from Sky's videos (well animals too, but it isn't like dillon the bat or the animals that are mentioned or shown as uncommon creatures).]

Sky's P.O.V

We stopped, at a pretty closed off area, where it is a bit cold and restless, not to mention the wind that repeatedly howls through my ears. I looked up and realized it was night time, with the crescent moon hovering over the side of the forest, completely illuminating the place in dim lighting.

'Come, we must not make the alpha wait, I am expected to be here within the few minutes we got.'

I quickly glanced at Rascal, who looked around with his ears perked up as if he heard something. He bent his ears and somehow silently talked through me with the so called mindlink.

'Stay low, be obedient to the alpha and show her respect. Do not be aggressive.'

I silently nodded, gulping as Rascal walked towards the middle of the clearing, I followed behind quietly, not knowing what to do because I don't even understand what he meant by 'stay low'.

A few crunches of grass and growls later, wolves were circling us, but it was all a blur, I also heard echoes of voices, and I could only hear a few things.

'W-who's he?'

'Rascal, what did you-u do?'

'Is he food? He doesn't s-smell like one,'

'H-human!'

'W-w-what are you d-d-doing?'

Faint voices echoed in my head, each belonging to different wolves that have some what human voices. It was weird.

I glanced around, some were moving while others Sat in the grass, hidden from most of my veiw. I can't count how many of them were there, but I guess there were many.

"Who's the alpha?" I asked in a whisper, crouching down beside him as a few crunches and shaking of leaves could be heard from around us.

Rascal kept his head low and stepped forward in
front of me, his tail just lightly brushing against my arm while the air practically grew more denser, hearing low growls and, murmurs?

I shook my head. This is probably his pack, and I somehow have the ability to understand wolves, don't be stupid Adam, logic some times screws you over.

Rascal looked back at me with a glimpse of determination and confidence.

'She's the leader, and she has many reasons on why she's the alpha.'

I was about to ask who she was until a loud SNARL brought my attention onto the top of a rock that seemed like it was a cave, but it was too dark to actually find out.

"Who's she?"

'Alpha bailey.'

Something caught my attention, it was the figure ontop, with the glowing brown eyes and the sly body of a wolf. The moon acted as if it were to make the theme of the wolf more authority filled.

I immediately knew who Rascal was talking about and lowered myself, as if I was prey. Though, the amulet around my neck dimly lit up my face, which made me feel uncomfortable.

I faced the ground and quickly cupped my amulet, scolding myself a bit when I heard a low growl because of the extra movement I've made.

I couldn't see but I heard shuffling and the movement of rocks, probably the alpha jumping down and Rascal somewhat chuckling lowly.

'What is funny?' A female, authority filled voice flooded withing my mind, making me flinch and furrow my eyebrows. I Felt Rascal stiffen as if he tried to avoid rolling his eyes.

'Was it really that obvious? You don't need to have that dramatic entrance, al-pha.' I looked up in curiosity, though, Rascal glanced at me and his eyes widened.

He whispered a slightly urgent 'Stay down!' Through the mindlink as I glanced at what they were doing.

Bailey rolled her eyes, (I guessed through the female voice) Rascal had stood up and wasn't even lowering himself, though I could sense his nervous aura growing.

I lowered my head, starring at the ground once again. Waiting for either both of them to do something, which felt like hours mind you.

'My apologies. Ba-Alpha, but this here is,' Rascal paused, trailing off for a moment as he looked at me with a 'what was your name again?' Frown. I furrowed my eyebrows, we literally told each other our names about ten minutes ago.

Rascal seemed confused now, before perking his ears up when a look of realization hit him.

'Sky.'

'You mean the sky above us?'

'Uh, no, the sky is this pup here.' I saw Rascal's shadow of his buff snout point towards me, and Bailey's ears perking up.

He called me 'the Sky', what the actual heck.

'I see,' the female voice sounded skeptical, which meant she doesn't fully understand what Rascal meant by 'pup', trust me, I wouldn't go near a guy who names a fully grown man a '12 year old' either.

'So, uh, yeah, this is Sky, he's a human I bit, not long ago, and after a while, when I was dragging him to this place, he suddenly had the scent of wolves around him, which is pretty weird don't ya know? So I took him here, where I then realized the scent smelled like a pup, which is insane, cause he's tall and-'

'Like you said, Rascal. He's a human.'

'Oh, yeah, uhm, my apologies.'

So I'm basically a werewolf?

'So that crosses it, he's a human that has the scent of a pup? He must be very young for such an adult.'

I scoffed, twelve years old actually.

'Yeah, but since it was the first time that has happened, what shall we do about him?

I'm right here-

'Consider him into the pup, he has the scent of one, correct?' Bailey asked, her voice was like it was meant to order around an entire army full of cold soldiers. Rascal nodded and I saw a bit of fur in my view, which meant he flicked his tail sideways, as if proud of what he did.

Bailey nodded back and turned to look at me, or my neck, to be honest.

'It's safe to stand up, you know, Rascal must've still had the memory of them...'

Weird, them?

I flinched and stood up, but shivering abit when I saw how large the wolf actually was, a bit shorter than Rascal, but had a long and sleek body, which is a female for sure. She had brown eyes and a slightly darker body than Rascal.

Speaking of Rascal, he nudged me from the side, his snout trying to get me to stand up, which actually worked, surprisingly.

I stood up and glanced around, it seems as if the place wasn't as empty as before. I Felt other scents too, which were the same as Rascal and Bailey.

'There are other wolves here, they are part of the pack, they are here to protect, hunt and help,' Bailey said through the mindlink, though Rascal can hear, he didn't want to interrupt.

I nodded and looked around a bit more, noticing shades of yellow around, faded to red, brown or orange in the darkness.

Wolves.

I stiffened a bit, glancing away from the eyes starting at me with cautiousness or confusion. It felt like that for hours until the stares eventually becoming smaller.

They were watching, I knew, but it felt like the stares were fading, fading into acceptance and curiosity.

I stared back, blinking when I felt someone tug at my right sleeve.

I looked down and saw a puppy biting at my clothing, which was cute and all, but it would tear up my clothes soon.

I shooed it away, lightly patting it. But it was still biting, without moving now. The pup wasn't moving, instead, sitting and glancing up at me with playful eyes.

Guess it still is too immature to talk to me.

I felt my shoulders relax, but a frown made its way towards my face, which made the pup blink.

"Bad time, pup, I am getting sleepy," I lied, it tilted it's head, it can't understand me yet. I frowned.

I don't really wanna play with a pup that can't understand me yet, it'd be cool to hear an echoing childish voice.

I yawned placing the heels of my hands on the ground as I leaned back a bit, still watching the pup with half droopy eyes.

"Sleep."

When I said that,it sorta.. Yawned, exposing it's small sharp teeth. After a moment it stared back at me with a still energetic gaze.

I sighed and stood up, followed by the small wolf that had to crane it's neck upwards just to see me.

"I'm going to uh, rest?" Might as well use the other term, since I felt like it understood formality a bit more.

Surprisingly, it nodded, before trotting away to a a wolf in the shadows, which I assumed was its mother. It skipped towards the wolf with a squeak of happiness, probably just because it befriended me.

I sighed and looked around, completely oblivious when Rascal and the alpha weren't there, leaving me in a patch of grass that seemed to be placed in the center of the clearing. Where did they go?

"Rascal?" I called out, trying not to draw as much attention.

A wolf walked over to me, it was white, with dark red eyes that seem to be calm and dim. Without hesitation, it nudged my leg and walked a few feet away from me to slightly parted trees.

'Come pup, you must rest with the pack.'

I hesitated before awkwardly nodding, following the wolf without any whines.

It led me to a tree covered cave, where I saw a few wolves lounging around on rocks and in grown branches, while pups were playing in the corner.
