I just dont get it. I mean how can a girl be so shy that she blocks herself from the world and all you can see is a woman that has no life and is depressed. I am going to help her get put of her weird shell. Dont know how dont know why but I just feel like its my mission to do it. I invited her over to my house yesterday but, i'm not sure if her parents are willing to let her go. I invited her anyway, even though I new I wasnt going to be alone. I had Venessa and my mom around for the sleepover! Ok now i'm just getting hopeless my mom isnt in my sleepover she just says she is and then goes back in her woman cave. I get a knock on the door at 8:00 at night and see Venesssa with her million suit cases. I help her drag all of them in and she looks out the window waiting for Lucinda to appear out of the clouds. "She not coming you know that right?" I asked her but she just ignored me and continued to look out the window. I shrugged and then went into the kitchen to get some snacks.
Just then the door bell rang and Venessa started freaking out and screaming "I GOT IT I GOT IT I GOT IT YES I DO I GOT IT!!" I started laughing and came over to see who was at the door and to my surprise, it was Lucinda staring at me with no bags nothing just herself. " Um where are your clothing, and your sleeping bag? " I asked but she gently looked at the ground like she was embarrassed. "No no no its ok you can have one of mine I brought plenty!" Said Venessa and got out a hot pink sleeping bag. Lucinda nodded and went into my room. I brought in the snacks and sat them down on the bed. We all stared at each other waiting for something to happen. " Sooo what do you guys want to do then? " Asked Venessa but it was clear that Venessa was going to pass out in the next two minutes or so. "I guess go to sleep." I said but Venessa was already on it. She was in her sleeping bag snoring and drooling. " Uh ok then." I reached for the light but then noticed that Lucinda was gone. I looked around my room but she wasnt there.
I gently turned off the light and walked out of my bed room to look for Lucinda. "Lucinda!" I wispered, but no answer. I still cept looking and found that my backdoor was open. I looked outside and saw that Lucinda was sitting on a small hill. My backyard had a hill looking over Missly and a willow tree right beside it. Beside the hill was a big cliff that went down into the town of Missly. I walked over to Lucinda and saw that she was holding something. I could tell she new I was coming because she just nodded at the picture. I sat down next to her and saw that she was holding a picture of her parents. "A-are those your parents?" I asked but clearly they were. Lucinda's mom looked exactly like her. Her dad on the other hand had blond hair and was wearing a purple suit. I sighed and said "I'm so sorry." It was obvious that her parents had died but I didnt want to say that. She nodded at me and started getting up to go inside but when we started moving the cliff started moving. The cliff was sliding and we were sliding with it.
Me and Lucinda slid off the cliff but I ,Just in time, Grabed the cliff and Lucinda. We dangled as the cliff rolled away. "Venessa!" I cryed but still no answer " VENESSA" I yelled even harder but it was useless. Venessa couldnt have heard a sound the way she sleeps. I looked down and saw that Lucinda was petrified and holding on to my and so tightly like i was a teddy bear. My fingers started to slip. "Oh no no no VENESSA GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE NOW!!" Still no answer. I started slipping more and eventually the only thing holding us up was my pinkie. " Ok Lucinda climb on top of me and get to the top of the cliff! OK? " I said but she stared at the ground like it was her nightmare. My hands detracted from the cliff and we started falling. Out of knoware Venessa came running outside in her PJs and a cup of coffee, and she grabbed my hand just in time. She pulled us up, we all to a breath of relief. After that we all just stared at each other, no words. Venessa handed me her cup of coffee and walked inside like nothing happened. "Thank you..." Said Lucinda. I turned around and saw that she had just spoken. " Its ok lets go back inside. " I said but she put a hand on my shoulder and said "Wait come with me."
