Pirate Lord
I was the princess
Everyone wished for,
Despite the stern face I had,
I know divine beauty would always rise up,
I had almost everything,
Things I don't really need,
And yet I know there's something I really wanted,
But I don't know what,
Once,
I wished to be lost somewhere far,
Where I would meet new faces,
People with simple lives,
And different beliefs,
However,
The twist was too much,
I never wanted to be in a pirate lord's arms,
With a calloused, rough hand,
Strict, cold and ungentle face,
But with an enticing amber eyes,
While having a harsh personality,
I never thought then,
That I would fall for his roughness,
His baritone deep voice that I
Always find so ugly,
Yet here I was,
Trying to understand why I'm looking his way,
With fascinated eyes and in awe,
The pirate lord was indeed great,
For he possessed such charm no girls could resist,
I flinched with the jealousy
I felt when he held another woman on his arms,
"That should be me," I thought,
I wonder what's running on his mind,
That he kept on pushing me away,
Yet pulling me back when he had the chance,
And when I gave up winning him,
That was when he held his hand out for me,
Asking me for a voyage
For eternity.
