In India Murthy's mansion.

Walking through the corridor calling Ishita's name Avni comes down the stairs and stops shouting Ishita's name seeing Raman who sat there with a smile on his face scrolling through his phone.

She smiles and went behind him and wrapping her arms around his neck and lowering herself she screamed into his ears and bursts out laughing seeing Raman in shock. Raman turning his head and passed a glare to his daughter and stood up facing her.

He shakes his head and moving her and looks at her who looked stunning wearing traditional attire. He couldn't hold myself back from pulling her into side hug and placing a kiss on side of her head.

Raman: you look beautiful princess. It's hard to believe my daughters grew up so fast and have started their own life. My first is already married and staying with her family whereas my second daughter is also all ready to get married to start new journey of her life . I am so proud of you both.

Avni broke the hug and looks at Raman with a smile and was about to reply but stopped when she heard her phone ringing. She took her phone out and looks at the caller id and answered the call.

Avni: hello di. I know. We are on our way. We will be there shorty. Okay. See you soon di. Bye.

She ended the call and looks Raman who kept his phone in his pocket and starts calling for Ishita.

Raman : how long does your mother take to get long? I can never understand why do women take so long to get ready. Ishita we are getting late. Come.

Avni laughs out and shakes her head waiting for Ishita to come down. Tomorrow is karav chauth and all the ladies decided to celebrate Karav chauth at Malthora's mansion and today will be staying there.

Ishita comes down starts shouting at Raman who didn't paid attention on her scolding because he was lost in her beauty as she descend down the stairs.

Avni stood there and smirks seeing the exchange between and coughed gaining their attention. Raman looked away and glances at Ishita who blushed looking down. He smirks and chuckles.

Avni: my dearest parents if your romance is done then we can please make our way to di's house. She is waiting for us. We should get going there.

Ishita : yes let's go. It seams someone is not getting late now. Let's go princess. Leave your father behind.

Avni shakes her head and looking at Raman who rolls his eyes following ishita. Avni too smiles and followed them.

At Malthora's mansion blasting the music and sitting around in the hall all the ladies starts gossiping while waiting for Avni and Ishita to arrive.

Nandini glances at Manik who stood at the staid with his hands in his pocket and staring at her. He winks at her when he caught her staring her making her blush. She looked away while blushing hard.

Manik chuckles and thought to join the ladies but stopped when his phone rang. He took his phone out and looking at the caller id he smiles before answering it and moving back to his room.

Nandini's trance was broken when she heard laughers echoing through the mansion. Her lips curves into a beautiful smile when she noticed her parents greeting Neyoinka who welcomed them.

She stood up and went towards them and greeted them with hug. She broke the hug and looks at her Avni who smiles at her and hugs her tightly.

They broke the hug and complimented each other.

Avni : sorry di. It took us forever to get us here.

Nandini : it's alright . We were waiting for you all. Come inside. Mom now that everyone is here shall we start applying the mendhi one by one?

Neyoinka : of course Nandini. Ishita you come with me. I have a lot to tell you.

Neyoinka took ishita with her whereas Nandini holding Avni's hand took her inside with the rest of the girls were sitting and gossiping.

Avni greeting them sits beside Mukti and looks at Navya who was getting her mendhi done first.

Avni: Navya. Are you also fasting? I mean Cabir allowed you? Does that mean he is also fasting?

Navya: is it really difficult to believe that I am going to keep fast tomorrow? I mean just because he's my husband doesn't mean I am also foodie like him.

Mukti : Navya the main question is will Cabir also fast? You do know rules in Malthora's family. Men's also fast for their wife or girlfriends. I wonder will Cabir survive through tomorrow day. I feel for him.

Navya : I don't know Mukti. Even I doubt on him. Can we please not talk about me? Avni how are you going to break your fast? Have you spoken to Neil?

Avni: no Navya. I haven't spoken to him till I told him that i will be keeping the fast. Even I don't know how I will break it? I wish he was here. I really want him to be here. It will be my fast for you.

Avni sadly replied to Navya and recalls the last conversation she had with him he when he promised he will try to come and after that she didn't try to contact him because she didn't put pressure on him.

Mukti : let's hope for our best Avni. You never know what might happen later. Nandini it must be your first fast too for Manik? How are you feeling?

Nandini looks at Mukti and shakes her head and thought about before their marriage how both of them kept fast for each other and broke it secret for many years. This would be first time where they will be celebrating together and she couldn't be happier.

Nandini : this is not my first fast. I have kept fast in past too but this is definitely first one after our marriage. It feels so amazing and it will be special because this time we not be hiding but celebrating together. Every time whenever Karav chauth was Manik was on neither business trip or music tour. We never got chance to celebrate it together.

The girls smiles seeing Nandini and starts teasing her. Nandini controlling her blush roams her eyes around the room and looks at Manik who again stood by the up stairs but this he wasn't alone with the boys who were also staring at their girls.

His eyes met hers and her heart flutters when his gazed were so deep that she couldn't help herself from looking away. Manik chuckles and looks at the his friends who were staring the girls.

Manik : guys. Why are we standing like idiot on the stairs? Shouldn't we be with them? Look at our fathers who has following their wife like a puppy.

Cabir and Dhruv laughs hearing Manik and nodded their head looking at Raman and Raj who hadn't stopped following Neyoinka and Ishita.

Cabir : for the first time your brain worked. Let's go.

Manik rolls his eyes and smacking Cabir's head climbs down the stairs follows by his fellow. The girls stops talking and looks at the boys when they sits beside their respective partners grabbing their attention.

Mukti: what are you guys doing here? You were not supposed to be here. This function is for ladies.

Manik : why can't we be here? Where does it say this is only for ladies? We are also going to fast tomorrow so we are allowed to be here.

He looks at Nandini who was getting her mendhi done. He sits beside her wrapping his arm around her waist and looking at her hands that was filled with the mendhi design. He looks at her and smiles.

Manik : it's looks very beautiful love. Will you also write my name on your hands like you did on our mendhi day? Please write it down. I also to write your name on hands with the mendhi.

Nandini smiles hearing his whispers and chuckles shaking her head and thought how cute he can be sometime. She gestures him to come closer and glancing at everyone who was engrossed their moment turns back looking at him and kissed his cheek making him shock but soon he smiled.

He kissed her head and softly starts caressing her waist while talking to her and making her blush. His eyes went on Avni who smiled looking at them.

He returns the smile and with his free hand took his phone out and smirks seeing the message and in his head counted till 10 and heard a voice with a bang.

Everyone turns their head and looks at the door where Neil walked through two familiar faces behind him. Everyone looks at Neil in shock and happiness.

Whereas Avni's eyes were filled with tears. Her heart was thumping so fast and her whole body shuddered up wondering what if he is going to fade away if she goes near her. Her heart ached to see her.

She sat there being stiffened looking at everyone getting up and moving towards them and hugging him. Her eyes didn't his who was staring her back.

Neil greets everyone and searched looking for his parents who also comes out of kitchen hearing voices and was shocked to see Neil there. Neyoink burst into tears hugging Neil who hello her closer to him.

Neil broke the hug and cupping Neyonika's face wipes her tears off and kissed her head softly.

Neil : I missed you so much mom. It's feels so good to be back home. I missed everything about this.

Neyoinka: I missed you too Neil. I am so happy you came. You made me the most happiest.

Neil smiles and looks at his father and hugs him too. He then greets ishita and Raman with hug who looked very happy seeing him and smiling.

His eyes went to Avni who looked away and looking down avoiding his gaze. He sighs and walks towards her and crouched down on his knees. He lifts her face up making her look at him. He wipes the tears off and leans forward kissing her head softly.

Neil: I had to come back baby because I promised someone special. I couldn't break my promise.

That's was also for her to crash into his arms and sobbed loudly. Her heart was bursting with happiness and joy seeing him after almost a month.

He smiles and hugging her back caressed her head and after sometime he broke the hug and wipes the tears off. He gets up from his knees and stood looking at his family who was smiling at him.

Avni holding on her tears stood up and greets Ava and David who also came to India with Neil for the first time. She pulls Ava into hug and Ava excitedly hugs Avni back and starts telling how much she missed her back in London. Avni smiles breaking the hug and greets David who returned it back with a smile.

Everyone sat back in living room and talking to each other while the ladies getting their mendhi down. Even Ava wanted to her hands filled with henna.

Neil was stealing glance of Avni in between who was also doing the same. They both wanted to be alone for sometime but couldn't because it was family moment. Neyoinka brought a lot of snacks ans welcomed David and Ava and asked to feel like a home.

Mukti: Neil who else knew about you coming? We all were faking few minutes back wondering if you will come or not. You surprised us. No of us expecting your surprise.

Neil : I didn't tell anyone expect Bhai. He knew i was going back. I wanted to surprise you all and I was successfully by doing that. You all look surprise.

Nandini : mani. You knew about this. You didn't tell me. And Neil you also didn't tell. I am hurt now.

Neil : I am sorry Bhabhi. please don't feel hurt.

Manik : love please. Neil told me not to tell anyone. I am really sorry for not telling you.

Nandini looks both of the brothers and didn't reply and pretended to be angry with them whereas others enjoyed their tantrums.

Most of midnight passed with them talking and pulling each others legs. At last they all decided to return back to their rooms to catch up with some sleep. Neyoinka showed everyone's rooms.

Everyone moved to their room even Avni was about to go to a guest room when a hand held her wrist stopping. She turns and looks at Neil who held her hand and was staring her. She glares him.

Avni: what are you doing Neil? Leave my hand.

Neil : no baby. Why are you going towards the guest room? You were staying in my room past few days so why not today. Please come with me.

Avni: why should I come with you? Who are you?

Neil sighs and knew she was angry on him. He also knew how to make up to her. He pulls her closer making her eyes widened as she looks at him.

Neil : baby I know you are angry on me and I won't even stop you. Please for today leave your anger and come with me. I am very tired and want to sleep in your arms. We can fight tomorrow please.

She looks at him and letting her anger she nodded her head making him smile who leans forward and pecks her making her eyes widened as she looked around to find anyone but everyone was gone.

She muttered some words under her breath and pulling her hand back from his hold she went to his room with him smiling trailing behind her.
