Manik walks into his cabin after ending his two hours long meeting and opening the blazer he puts around his chair. Opens first two button his shirt and rolling his selves up he sits down.

He took his phone out to check is there is any messages or miscalled from Nandini but finding none he sighs and shrugging his shoulder thinking she kept be busy. He picks the intercom and calls Pooja who answered within few ring.

Manik: Pooja, can you please coffee in my cabin without sugar? And I also need my schedule for today.

Pooja saying okay hangs up. Manik opens his laptop and started to work. A knock distracted him. Manik still working on his laptop said to come in.

Pooja enters and placed the coffee on the table and opening her diary she went through Manik's schedule. Manik thanking her and starts taking a sip of the coffee while listening to her.

Pooja : sir, the meeting Mr Metha is cancelled. He had to urgently go out country.

Manik : when did you received confirmation for the cancellation?

Pooja : few days ago sir. I had made note to let you but it slipped of my head. I'm sorry sir.

Manik : Pooja! You have been working with me as my Pa since a year now. By now you should know I don't like last minute cancellations or changes. I'm letting you go this way but be mindful next time i won't stop from firing you. May you go now.

He shouted at Pooja for being careless and not paying attention on the work. As Pooja walks out of the cabin, he sighs and rubs his temples while glancing at his phone.

He sighs and picking his phone to call Nandini. He dials Nandini's number but no luck. Nandini didn't answer the call. He didn't what to do. He wasn't sure how her parents may have taken revelations of their relationship. He looks so worried and tensed.

His head snaps towards cabin door when it flung open revealing Neil who strolls inside and pushing the chair sat down and looks at Manik with a smile.

Neil : why are you looking so worried Bhai? You haven't spoken to Bhabhi. Do you want to call her?

Manik : Neil what are you doing here? I thought you went to a client. Did you cancel the meeting?

Neil : no Bhai! I didn't cancel it but the client did. I thought to see you before I start working.

Manik nodded his head and leans back on his chair looking at Neil who took his phone out and dials a number.

Neil : hello, Neil speaking. Can you please order lunch and drop it to Bhai's cabin?

Neil ended the call and looks at Manik with a smile.

Neil. : I have ordered food Bhai. I know you are worried about Bhabhi but you cant skip your lunch. You didn't had breakfast before coming to office. And I'm sure Bhabhi's parents would understand her situation too. You don't need to stress about.

Manik : how can I not stress Neil? She isn't answering my calls or messages. I don't want to disturb Avni otherwise I would have called her.

Neil : Bhai, clam down. Let's have lunch then we can go and visit Bhabhi. Do you think she would be at hospital or home?

Manik : far as I know she wasn't going to hospital today. I also agree with you, after lunch we will go and see them.

Neil nodded his head and getting up took the food from Pooja who brought the food in and left.

Neil keeps the food on the table and looks at Manik who felt so hungry seeing the food. They both washed their hands and starts eating while talking to each other.

Nandini getting ready rushed down the stairs holding her phone and bumped with Avni. They both shouted and looks at each other. Avni looks at Nandini while rubbing her head.

Avni : Di! What happened? You look so lost and confused. Did something happen? Should I be worried?

Nandini : I don't know doll? I'm so confused. Manik has been calling me so many times and messaging me but I haven't replied him back or answered his call.

Avni : why di? Why are you ignoring him? Did you both fight? Did you tell him about our parent's conversation?

Nandini : no doll! I don't know how to tell him. Can I talk to you later doll? I running late to hospital.

Avni: but Di! You have taken a day off. Why are you going office?

Nandini : I know doll but they called saying they need me. I couldn't refuse them. I'm running late so I'll talk to you later. Bye doll, take care.

Nandini not letting Avni speak walks past her and rushed towards the exits.

Avni ( mind) what happened to Di? Should I call Neil and ask him? What should I do?

She thought and coming to conclusion she took her phone out and dials Neil's number who picked it up in one ring.

Avni : hello Neil! Can we meet up please?

Neil : hello Avni! What a coincidence? I was on my way to your home. Is Bhabhi home with you too?

Avni : oh! You are coming home. No Di went to hospital few minutes ago. Is Manik Bhai with you?

Neil : yes! We are both coming to your house. Bhai is so worried as Bhabhi isn't answering his calls or messages. We can meet at a cafe if you would like.

Avni : oh yeah! Sure. Text me the place and I'll come there.

Neil : you don't need to worry about coming there alone. You get ready and we will pick you up.

Avni : okay! See you soon.

She ended the call and rushed to her room to get ready.

They were sitting in a cafe and looking at each not knowing how to start the conversation. Manik clears his throat gaining their attention.

Manik : Avni! Why did Nandini go to hospital today?

Avni : Bhai! Emergency called up so Di had to cancel her leave and go to hospital.

Manik nodded his head and understanding why she wasn't answering his calls as she might be busy.

Manik: and what about your parent's reaction? What did they say? Are they against my and Nandini relationship?

Avni : no Bhai! They are happy but it will take some time to adjust. They didn't expected to find di dating you. I mean the rockstar and businessman Manik malthore.

Manik : I can understand. Now since we are here. Do you a coffee or something to drink?

Avni : can I get a coffee and brownie with ice cream please.

Neil chuckles at her antics and calling the waiter placed their order. They all starts talking while waiting for their drinks when Neil's phone rang.

Neil took his phone out and looking at the caller id, he smirks and glanced at Manik who looks at him.

Neil : excuse me Bhai! You both continue. I'll be right back.

Manik nodded his head and Neil excusing himself went to corner and answered the call.

Neil : hello Cabir. How can I help you? On what grace you called me.

Cabir : Neil. Where are you? I want to meet you. It's really important and urgent. Please don't say no.

Neil : now what happened? Did they not accept you?

Cabir : I can't tell you over the phone. Please tell me where are you? I'll come there. I even called elder malthore but he didn't pick my call. Tell me.

Neil chuckles hearing cabir's desperate voice and thought to not tease him anymore.

Neil : we are at a cafe with Avni. I'll text the cafe name and see you there.

He hangs up before cabir could say anything. Neil shaking his head went back and looks at them who drinking their coffee. His eyes falls on Avni who was eating the brownie. His heart melted the way she was eating.

His thoughts were broken by Manik who calls him out. Neil shook his head and sitting down took his coffee and starts drinking.

Manik : who was on the call Neil?

Neil : who else Bhai? Cabir. He's coming here.

Avni: cabir! How come? What happened to him?

Neil : I don't know but he said something important.

Manik : oh no? Neil we forget his plan. He was supposed to meet navya's parents yesterday. I hope everything went smoothly.

Neil : oh crap! How did I forget? Hold on. This wasn't the plan Bhai. He wasn't supposed to meet her parents first. He was supposed to tell her what he feels about her. He needs to confess first. He ruined my whole plan. I won't leave him now.

Manik : I'm sorry Neil. I was the one who suggested him to see her parents first. I thought it would be better if he meet her parents first then confess.

Neil sighs and turns his head when he heard Avni. He look at cabir who ran towards them and bumped with one of the waiter.

The malthore palmed their faces and stood up glaring cabir. Cabir comes to them and hugs Neil making Neil stumbled back.

Neil : wooo! I wasn't expecting this cabir. What's the good news? You look so happy and relieved.

Cabir broke the hug and takes Manik into bone crushing hug too and smiles. Manik smiles and hugs him back. They broke hug and looks at each other.

Cabir : you won't believe it Manik. Your idea worked. I met her parents and they looked so happy with me.

Manik : wow! I'm so happy for you, cabir. When are you going to propose Navya?

Cabir : I don't need to because I already did. She said yes.

Neil and Manik looks at each other before pulling hug into a hug.

Manik : wow man! You're step ahead of us. Congratulations cabir.

Neil : congratulations cabir. Finally our plan worked. I'm so happy for you both.

They broke the hug and congratulated cabir. Avni looks at them and smiles. She steps forward and looks at cabir with a smile.

Avni : congratulations cabir.

Cabir : thank you Avni. Where is Nandini? How come you are with the malthora brothers?

Manik and Neil looks at each before looking at cabir.

Neil : cabir. We are going to office when I spotted Avni here so thought of saying hello. We are about to leave. I'll drop Avni then we will go office.

Avni : yeah! Neil you don't need to drop. I'll take a cab.

Cabir : can I interrupt? I can drop Avni home.

Avni didn't have any problem with that but Neil did. He wanted to drop Avni home but didn't say anything. He nodded his head and bidding bye they left the cafe.

Neyonika sitting in living room stood up when she head laughter. She knew it would her husband and sons. She went to kitchen and asked the butler to set the table while taking glasses of water she walks out of kitchen.

Neil kissed Neyonika's cheek taking the glass and gulps it down. Manik also kissed her forehead and thanking her took the glass before gulping it down.

Raj kissing his wife sits down beside Neil and exchanged some glances with his wife and nodded his head.

Neyonika : Neil& Manik go and freshen up. I and your father need to tell you both something.

They both nodded their heads and leaving their glasses went to their respective rooms.

Neil and Manik sitting on the dining table didn't fail to notice glances between their mother and father. They looked so confused and coughing a little louder gains their attention.

Manik : what is it mom? What did you wanted to tell us?

Neil : yes mom! Why are you both sharing looks?

Neyonika : raj, why don't you tell them?

Raj : neyo! Okay. Manik we know since you are dating Nandini and your mother wants to settle in your life so we have invited Murthy's to our house on Friday night for dinner. . I don't want both of coming late that day. Clear your schedule.

Manik looks so shock and surprised when he heard his father saying about Murthy's coming for dinner on Friday. He even glanced Neil who had same expression as him.

They both composed themselves and looks at their parents.

Neil : mom. Why this so sudden dinner plan?

Neyonika : why not Neil? They are dating. We don't have any problem with them dating but I want Manik and Nandini to get married.

Manik quietly was listening to conversations between his brother and mother. He sighs and thought to interrupt their conversations.

Manik : mom. I didn't say no to marriage. Either I have any problem with the dinner. Let me speak to Nandini. Did they confirm it?

Raj : I spoke to Raman and he said he come. He's also excited for this dinner.

Manik didn't know what this dinner is going to hold for him but nodding his head and kept the conversation short and ate his food.

Nandini comes out of hospital and was about head to her car but stopped when she spotted Manik waving her at her leaning to his car. She looks so surprised seeing him there that too this late. It's almost 3am.

She approached towards him and looks at him.

Nandini : mani. What are you doing here? It's so late. You shouldn't have been here. I made you wait. I'm sorry mani.

Manik shook his head and placed his finger on her lips and cupping her face kissed her forehead.

Manik : I have so many questions and complaints against you but I won't ask you right now. You look so tired so let's get home. We can talk tomorrow.

Nandini felt so bad for avoiding him whole day. She leans forward and resting her head on his chest and mutters sorry.

He pecks her head and pulling her way away opens the door and gestures her to get in. Nandini giving him a smile she gets in and looks at him who closing the door rushed to driver side and fastening seatbelt drove to Murthy's mansion.
