Manik and Neil sitting in study room was going through few papers works when they a heard a knock. They both looked at each other and frowned thinking who might be at the door but nevertheless Manik said come in still being engrossed in the file.

Neil's eyes turns towards the door when the door opened revealing the person who walks inside making his smile brightly seeing Avni there. He wasn't expecting to her be here this early. He looks at the clock and thought to himself.

Neil ( mind) am I dreaming? It's not even dinner time yet. How did she come early? Not I that mind.

His thoughts were broken by Manik who called Avni and asked her to take seat. Neil looks at her.

Manik : hello Avni! How come you here? I heard you were not coming to dinner later in the night.

Neil : what! Were you not going to come? Why?

He looked so shocked wondering why wasn't she coming for dinner later in the night. His heart ached knowing she wasn't going to come dinner. He looks at her who looks down avoiding his gaze.

Manik looks them and found tension raising between them. He clears his throat and excusing himself went out of the study room leaving them alone. Neil sighs loudly when Manik left the room and looks at Avni while getting up making his way towards her. He stood front of her and stares at her.

Neil : you haven't answered my question Avni? Are you upset with me? Are we really giving up on us? Are you avoiding me? Are we going to break everything before we even start our relationship?

His thoughts were filled with so many thoughts and her silence was breaking his heart. He doesn't know why her silence was killing him inside. He looks at her who looks up with her eyes filled with tears.

His heart ached seeing the tears in her eyes. His eyes softens as he brushed his thumb against her eyes wiping the tears up. She looks at him without blinking her eyes and felt like crying her heart out.

Her heart wasn't ready to let him go away. She tried so many different ways to not think about him going to back to London but her mind was stuck one place. Her heart was breaking mere thoughts of distance they will be facing for few mouths.

He sighs deeply and pulls her in hug only to found her bursting into tears. He starts to rubs her back and whispers sweets words into her ears.

Her arms gripped so tightly around his waist and embracing him a tight hug she sobbed her heart out. His heart sank seeing her in this condition.

He waited a little longer till her sobs slows down and once she stops crying he broke the hug and cupping her face wipes the tears off and placed a kiss on her head. His thumb still caressing her cheek gently.

Neil : please stop crying Avni. It's hurting. I can't see tears in your eyes. Please stop crying. I don't know what to do to stop your tears. I don't know how I will stop this pain from you. I know it will we will difficult for us but trust me we will overcome this distance. No one can separate us Avni. Trust me

Avni : I do trust you Neil. I trust you so much but this fear doesn't stop. My mind is messed up so badly. I don't know why I think it won't work. I don't know. How do I make myself believe you will not forget me Neil? How do I make myself believe one day we will be married like we dreamed Neil? There is so many thoughts and possibilities might come not come true. I can't stop thinking about all these.

He sighs and pulls her in his embrace and tightly wraps his arms around her waist pulling her closer to his heart that was pounding so faster.

Neil : do you hear that heartbeat of mine? This is what you do to me? My heart beats so fast when I think or in presence of yours. You don't know what power you hold in my heart and mind Avni. I'm not going to let you slip away from my life. Trust me on this. I will never forget you sweetheart.

He dropped a kiss on back of her head and broke broke the hug. He looks at her while wiping the tears off and holding her hand took her to couch area. He made her sit down and crouched him down still holding into her hands. He then looks at her before placing his head on her lap. She looks at him and starts ruffling his hair softly while talking to him.

They both were so engrossed talking to each other didn't realise when the time passed away. Avni was first one to freak out when she noticed the time and slapped her head lightly making him chuckle.

Neil : why are you worried? Do you have to go somewhere? This also reminds me, you didn't answer my question. Were you not going to come for dinner.

Avni: honestly Neil I didn't knew how to face you. I felt so bad and upset about leaving to London. I know we have spoken a lot about this but I'm not sure how should I let you go away from me. I made some excuses to my parents told them I wasn't going to join but when do called and asked me to come early I told about the refusal for not coming.

Neil : how come you changed your mind to come?

He asked because he knows she isn't someone to change her mind so quick. There must be something fishy. He looks at her who looked away avoiding his gaze while fiddling with her fingers.

Neil : why are looking away now Avni? Come on say the truth or else I'll ask Bhabhi. She will tell me.

Avni : no! Don't you dare asking di about this. I will die out of embarrassment. You don't know how your sweetest Bhabhi made me convince to come here.

Neil: my sweetest Bhabhi. I see! Well she is my favourite and sweetest Bhabhi. Now stop talking in riddle and tell me the truth or else...

Avni: you are exactly like your Bhabhi. Just threatening me. She threatened me stating if I don't come to dinner then she will talk to your parents about a girl who has crush on you and wish to play Cupid between you two? Can you believe it my own sister is trying to break my love story Neil?

Neil looks at and laughs out making her angry and pushing him she rushed out of the study room. Neil took a minute to register what just happened and chuckling to himself rushed outside following her.

He climbs the stairs and found her heading towards kitchen so he follows only stop and smirks at the entrance seeing his brother teasing Nandini.

His eyes on Avni whose eyes widened and turns around only to bump against Neil's chest. He smiles holding her and whispers her to be quiet.

Nandini and Manik were in their own world don't notice their presence but Nandini's eyes widened when she spotted Neil and Avni front of her.

She nudged Manik who didn't bothered but continued to drop kisses trails on her neck while nuzzling her face. Nandini looks down and blushed.

Neil smirks and clears his throat grabbing Manik's attention who looks at him and rolls his eyes.

Manik : what happened Neil? Do you want some water? Why did you come here disturbing my romance? How shamelessly you are watching us?

Nandini slapped his chest and struggled in his grip but he tightened not letting her escape. Neil chuckles and looks at Avni who smiles at them adoring her favourite couple.

Neil : just like you are being shameless Bhai. Leave Bhabhi otherwise she will burst her angry on you later. Have some shame Bhai. Look at my poor Bhabhi she's flustered.

Manik passed a glare to Neil and leaves Nandini not before kissing her cheek and standing beside her.

Manik : what are you doing here? I thought you would take more time consoling yourself.

Neil : why do I need to console myself Bhai?

Manik : aren't you going through emotional distress?

Manik chuckles whereas Neil glares to Manik. Nandini and Avni looks at each and giggles seeing them arguing like a child.

Nandini : Avni! Now that you are here. Help me set the table. Everyone must be coming anytime.

Avni nodded her head and starts helping Nandini while Manik clings to Nandini following her like a puppy making Neil chuckle at his brother antics.

Neil also helped Avni and Nandini making them smile at his efforts. Nandini looks at Manik who pulls her in corner and trapping her between the wall and himself. Her eyes widened staring him.

Nandini : mani, what are doing? Simone will come?

Manik : no one is coming love. You didn't even spend time with me. I didn't even go office today because I thought I could cuddle to my wife but she pushed me away and kept herself locked in a kitchen. I have start to hate the kitchen now.

Nandini giggles while placing her hand on his shoulder and tiptoes leaning forward and placed a kiss on his both cheek making him grin widely.

Nandini :happy now! Leave me before anyone comes looking for us. I need to help Avni too.

Manik shook his head and pulls her closer.

Manik : no! No one will come and even if they do then it's their problem and choice to watch us not mine. I want to hold you in my arms like this.

Nandini sighs and looks behind Manik to find Neyonika making her away towards them while being busy on the phone. Her eyes widened and tried to get Manik's attention but Manik was too adamant to leave her and follow his own lead.

Neyoinka stops and looks at them and smirks moving closer to them. Neyoinka twisted Manik's ear who winched in pain leaving Nandini who took the chance and ran from there leaving them alone.

Manik : ouch mom. What are you doing? It's hurting. Let it go. I'm favourite son. Please.

Neyoinka: what are you doing Manik? Why are you troubling Nandini?

She left his ears and looks at him who starts fumbling and scratching his neck making excuses up walks away from there. She chuckles and went to kitchen to see the arrangements for dinner.

Everyone had arrived and headed straight to dinning room where the food was laid out making everyone gasp seeing so many different cuisines. Ishita looks at Nandini proudly and patted her head gently.

Everyone took their seat and serving themselves. Cabir being foodie filled his plate with so many good makings youngsters gaps whereas elders shakes their head and continued to eat their food.

Navya : cabir! For god sake eat like a human.

Cabir ignores his wife words and starts eating like food will disappear if he looks away for a second.

Manik : it's okay Navya. What else can we expect from an animal? I can't believe he's our friend.

Everyone chuckles hearing Manik but Cabir didn't paid any attention on Manik's words because he was too busy munching the food.

Throughout whole dinner the chatters and giggled didn't stopped. After dinner the whole family sat in backyard and loving the fresh air. They were having their ice cream for desserts.

Neil looks at everyone who looked very happy and enjoying the moment. He didn't wanted to ruin but he had to inform his family about his departure back to London. His eyes falls on Neyonika who was talking to Ishita. His heart ached for his mother.

Neil clears his throat gaining everyone's attention who stops eating and looks at Neil who puts his bowl aside and took a deep breath before glancing at Avni.

Neil : I have something to announce. I arranged a dinner together because I wanted to say something.

Cabir : are you getting married? Hold your horses Neil. we just had a wedding. I haven't recovered yet.

Neil : shut up Cabir . Why do you use your brain when you know you don't have one?

Everyone chuckles hearing him except Nandini, Manik and Avni who knew what Neil was talking about. Avni looked away not wanting to break down.

Raj : what do you want to say Neil?

Neil : I'm not going to riddle around so I will come straight to point. I will be returning back to London.

He looks at his mother whose expression changed. He knew this bound to happen. He sighs and looks at everyone who didn't know what to say.

Raj : how long are you going? When are you going?

Neil : I don't know how long I will be there dad. I will be leaving end of this week. I have already planned it.

Neyoinka didn't listen any further and excusing herself went away leaving Neil sad. He thought of going to her but Raj stopped him.

Raj : I'll speak to her Neil. Right now she will burst out. You don't worry. I know you never take wrong decisions. You're my son. I know you better Neil.

Neil nodded his head and hugs Raj who patted his back and breaking the hug went behind Neyoinka.

Manik blinks his eyes at Neil and changed the entire topic making the situation lighter.
