SB's POV:

Recently I had been slowly getting myself used to being in the nether, I could now travel between portals on the nether roof.

And I thought a quick trip over to Shopping district would be easy...

NOPE!

This time when I went through the portal instead of being on a flat bedrock surface, I was surrounded by red blocks, fire, and the air ten times hotter and thicker than what I had gotten somewhat used to.

This was great. Everything about this was perfectly fine! I'm totally not panicking!

And to make matters even "better" there was a humanoid pig thing and it didn't look too happy with me, it had a golden sword and was coming towards me.
All I have is a flimsy wooden sword, no armor, I don't know what the thing is, and there are no tree branches around.

So I did the only thing I could possibly do...

Run. For. My. Life.

I didn't look where I was going, and tripped,

Of course I freaking tripped.

My foot stuck between the nether rack, an angry pig thing, and difficulty breathing. Exactly how I wanted die...

To make matters even worse...
My cyborg arm overheated and powered down!

The pig thing caught up to me and swung its sword down right up against my head, just barely missing my ear. But before it could slice my left arm off, there was a blur of Red and black. Said blur pulled me out of the way.

Once my already crap vision cleared up after about 2 seconds.
I saw someone roundhouse kick the creature off of a ledge.

"ARE YOU OK?" He immediately asked.

"Probably not... as I'm not sure where I am! What that was or why I'm here!" I said quite panicked.
"Wait who are you!?"

"To catch you up to speed, your in the actuall nether. That was a Piglin. All the portals have been disconnected. And my name is Ex, I am Xisuma's twin brother." They said to me.

"Thanks for catching me up, how do I get out of here though?"
"Wait did you say you were Xisuma's twin brother? How have I never seen you before? Your not evil right?-"

"SLOW DOWN! yes I'm his twin, evil.... depends on my mood, you haven't met me because Xisuma and I don't get along that well... so I typically stay in a cave far from most hermits. That or I'm in the end half the time, i was only in the nether to get some materials, but right now getting you back to the overworld is more important." Ex said somehow calm.

"Ok. Lead the way as I don't know where I ran from..."

"Hey what's your name?" He asked me

"SB, why?"

"Well SB, there is a group of hermits looking for you...."
"So we should get you back to the over world now."

"Sounds like a great Plan, I don't want to be here any longer. Thank you for saving me from the thing..."

"Just happened to be in the right place at the right time...."

I followed him back to a portal, and we went through it.
Even though it's summer, the air felt cool after being in the nether. And breathing was easier that's for sure,
Once out of the portal I heard a few gasps...

I saw a bunch of hermits staring at us with angry, fearful, and concerned stares.

"EX!" I saw X infront of us.

Some hermits were muttering things amongst them selves.

"Step away from her EX!" Tango said as he threw himself between EX and I who were already fairly far apart.

I'm confused as to why they are acting like this...

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE NETHER GODS IS GOING ON! why are you treating him like this!? HE QUITE LITERALLY SAVED ME FROM SOME SORT OF MUTANT PIG THING AND HAS DONE NOTHING BUT HELP ME GET OUT OF THE NETHER!"

"No, no, I get I'm not wanted... I'll leave." I heard Ex say before going back into the nether portal.

After I had shouted they seemed to shut up.

I started fidgeting with a strand of my hair, as yelling caused me to do. Except the stand i usually fidgeted with wasn't there. Or any of the hair in that side. Instead it was only an inch or two short and quite jagged. I may need one of the girls to help smooth it out. I'm not against the look, I think I'm able to pull it off. I still like my long hair though. Hey less brushing for me.

"Ok You're going to need to explain what happened before one of us kills Ex." Tango informed me,
So I did just that.

They understood and I'm now going to avoid nether portals for a while now.

About 800 words.

I wanted to do something for this for the 1.16 update. And for some reason I kept changing the person who helped SB. I kept switching between Tango, Hels, and Ex.

I really didn't want to become repetitive so I settled on Ex for some reason....

Also 1.16 is awesome!

But screw piglins they killed me twice in the span of five minutes! I have no respect for them. As they caused me to loose half my good gear!

But for now, Keep swimming my little fishies!
