SB's POV:

I've been thinking lately, about how I had never been through a nether portal.
It would probably be easier to get around the server if I started going through the portals. The truth is I'm scared... like really scared to go through a portal.

I really want to... but I'm scared, and I don't want to be anymore. I need to face my fear. All the hermits go through portals all the time. There is nothing stopping me from just walking through a portal.

Sooo I walked over to the nearest portal, which happens to be Tango's.

And I did nothing, I froze when I got infront of it...

It started making a really loud noise, and then I saw someone fade into existence.

I noticed it was Tango. He didn't move, we just made awkward eye contact... probably for a solid minute...

"Hey there SB. You alright?" Tango asked me breaking the silence.

"Yeah i was just wondering what it was like going through a portal..."

"Ok. Have fun." He said awkwardly.

It was another awkward silence.

"Wait...don't you dare think your going through a Nether portal on your own if it's your first time." He finally broke the silence again.

"I would be a fool to let you go through a portal alone." He said panicking realizing I was probably thinking of going through.

My whole life I've had an authority issue not as much anymore but still a small one... I started stepping closer to the portal just to mess with Tango... forgetting I'm probably the biggest Clutz to ever exist...

"Nope... the nether is no place for you alone..."

I took another step towards the portal.

"Don't think your going in alone SB."

I laughed internally keeping straight face while taking another step towards it.

"SB...!?"

By now I was directly infront of it.

"Alright alright. I'm done messing with you. I wasn't actually gonna go trough." I said laughing a little.

And as if on cue I tripped over my own two feet and fell backwards into the portal.

Last thing I saw before it was just purple was a sheer look of panic on Tango's face.

It slowly started fading away from purple and instead everything around me was redish.
And i felt very nauseous and it was difficult to breath, it also felt like a thousand degrees.
I started panicking.

Next thing I know, Tango comes flying out of the portal, only there was something different about him....

Tango had red demon wings...
I'm not gonna ask I've seen weirder.

"SB ARE YOU ALRIGHT." He said panicking.

"I don't know... it's kinda difficult to breath and it feels like I'm on fire..." because I was panicking slightly.

This probably wasn't how I was expecting my first time going through a portal going.

I think tango calmed down...

"Hey Tango? What is this place isn't the nether supposed to be covered with lava or something? This place seems barren minus all the portals..." I asked confused and still mildly panicking.

"SB, you're ok. You're just on the roof of the nether. I'm just glad this portal didn't disconnect and didn't take you to the actual main part of the nether." He said slightly relieved.

I stayed quiet and just looked at the wings confused. I knew Tango was a demon, but I had no idea about the wings. I just assumed he just had the red eyes.

"Why are you looking at me like that....?"
"Ohhhhh you've never seen the wings, that's right."
"I can't hide them in the nether, and that is a long story I'm not going to get into today, for now let's just head back ok? I can tell you aren't handling being in the nether dimension very well." He said.

I just nodded and stood up. This has been a strange experience.

Tango went with me through the portal this time.

"Yeah I think I'm just gonna take the long way to get across this world. The nether is not my friend." I laughed slightly about the whole situation.

He just rolled his eyes at that statement.

"Sorry Tango... I didn't mean to worry you."

"Your Fine Just don't go to the nether alone ok?"

"Oh trust me I won't even be going to the nether anytime soon."

About 700 words.
