Layla cried quietly, as she tried to call Joshua, who seem to don't answer right now. She walked along the streets alone and she didn't care that people might see her crying. She feels like she has every right to cry, after what happened.
Layla tried to call Joshua again, but he didn't answer again. She sighs and thinks about a person she could now call.
As she scrolls trough the contacts in her phone she pauses at a specific name. She waits a moment. They know each other long enough and she trusts Lay. Even though she still doesn't know his real name. But she always felt that he has a good heart and is a beautiful human being. Plus he knows the whole stuff with Juliette and Liam.
Layla searches for an empty spot and finds one right at a river. She quietly sits down and hesitates a moment. But after this short moment she presses the call button. If her eyes wouldn't be so full of tears right now, she would have seen, that she pressed right next to the normal voice call and pressed video call. But she doesn't notice, she holds her phone in front of her, in hopes of hearing Lays voice and sweeps her tears from her face. New ones replace the swept tears right away.
Lay accepts the video call, deciding that its time to reveal him and his secret to her, but he did not except what he sees in front of him. He saw pictures of Layla and felt like shes an independent, strong woman. The girl he sees now is crying so much and Lay feels like he just wants to hold her in his arms and tell her everything will be alright, even though he doesn't know the reason shes crying.
"Layla...", he says her name softly and she lifts her head up. At the moment she realises that she pressed the video call button, shes surprised he accepted it. At her second glance, she recognizes the person in front of her. A lot of thoughts run trough her head until she realised, that she fangirled over Lay to Lay. She would be embarrassed if she wasn't in this shitty situation, that she is in right now.
"What the fuck?", is all she can manage to say, before she sweeps away her tears again.
"Layla, we have a lot to talk about and I can tell you all of my reasons but please, first tell me why you're crying like that.", asks Lay softly and Layla stops a moment. She needs a moment to realise that shes talking to EXOs Lay but she decides, that it doesn't matter. She didn't get to know the famous Lay, she got to know just Yixing, a normal dude.
"Okay.", Layla tries to smile weakly, but she knows immediately that she failed.
"So, you know that whole situation with Liam and Juliette.", she just begins and at that moment, Lay realises that she does absolutely don't care and that shes talking to a normal person. He couldn't be happier.
"We three met today. Juliette left the room and at that moment Liam tried to kiss me again. I've slapped him and Juliette saw it... she screamed at me and told me she never wants to see me again, because I always am negative about her relationship. And then I told her what happened, and she didn't believe me. Again. He told her that I'm the one who always starts to flirt with him and she lost it. She even threw something at me and told me that I should be careful that I never see her again. I mean I've known in the last months we both kind of drifted apart but I never imagined that it will ever be like this.", Layla cries as she tells all of this to Yixing and she tries to look him in the eyes. She knows she can't hold the eyecontact most of the time, but she knows she fails.
"Layla, you don't deserve that kind of friends. And this Liam dude is the worst person on this planet that I know. I want to punch him in the face.", Yixing says and Layla smiles as she sees his expression.
"Don't worry, I already did that.", she tries to joke and her tears are slowly getting less.
"Do you think after some time you can fix your friendship?" Lay looks at her careful and she returns the gaze.
"I don't think I want that, to be honest. After this she's dead to me. I'm better off without her. I mean look at me. Look how I look because of her."
"You still look beautiful, Layla." The woman tries to hide the fact that shes blushing and shes happy for the fact that its already dark. Otherwise Yixing would have noticed the blush on her face.
"I'm sorry to call you because of a thing like that... I just needed to get it off my chest.", Layla apologizes after she looks at the time. Lay gently smiles at her.
"Don't worry. I've already told you I'm always here for you. Even in the middle of the night, when you call me." Layla returns his soft smile.
"And to be honest I'm happy that you finally know who I am. I just didn't want to tell you, because ive wanted you to just see me as the famous person Lay, but for the person I am, just Yixing." Layla smiles at him.
"I didn't know who you were and decided to call you in one of my worst moments. My thought about you is kind of clear, I think." Yixing laughs lightly.
"It really is. You know what? You stand up right now.", he demands and she looks at him confused, but does as he wants to.
"Send me your address and I let some food be delivered to you. I can't come to you to cheer you up. But I can get you food, which has pretty much the same effect on you, as I know you.", he smiles at her and Layla blushes again.
"You don't have to, Yixing. Its okay.", she repels, but it seems like she won't be able to change his mind.
"But I want to, so drop the address and tell me what you want to eat." Layla thinks a moment about it.
"Chinese.", she then smirks and he also starts to grin.
"I'll get you the best Chinese food delivered, that I know.", Yixing declares happily. Layla feels a warm feeling in her stomach. The same feeling she had the past month already.
"Thanks, Yixing. I really appreciate it."
