CANADA MINING SITE  2004.....

Bboogggssshhhhh......., booggsssshhhh.........

The sudden noise of underground collapsing sent all the people who work at the miners in panic, they hurriedly ran to escape and scrambling around to save themselves before all the debris collapsed.

2 workers are busy securing and sending all the workers outside not minding the danger.

" IS EVERYONE OUT!!?? "  the chief frantically shouted as the commotion is getting bad.

"  SIR, ONE OF THE CHIEF IS STILL INSIDE!!!.." someone shouted which makes the man turn to go back inside and look for his Co-owner and Chief in charge. He frantically search around avoiding the falling debris and sand.

"  H-HELP!!..

HELP ME....I'M TRAPPED HERE!!..." a helpless  muffled voice was heard underneath the rubbles.

" BUDDYYY?!! ..."

"ARTHIT?!,

Is that you?...

My legs is stuck, I can't move it! "

As soon as Arthit saw him underneath the rubbles he rushed immediately. "  I'm here buddy, don't worry, i will help you out of here."

As he began to remove the planks of piles, he realize his friend starting to lose consciousness.

" Hey Boss, you need to stay awake. " he said which earn a grunt.

Arthit carefully lifted the heavy plank that immobilized his boss movement and move it away to his leg, he grimace when he saw the damage on his friend and felt bad. As he carefully help his Boss up, The ground began to shake again, in split second Arthit saw a debris falling on their spot, he push his friend with all of his strength away from the falling debris and took the brunt.

" Arrrggghhh.."

" ARRTTHHIITTT!!!..., OMG!! ... HELLPPPP!!!" The boss shouted frantically but due to excessive loss of blood, he lost his consciousness before anyone can help them.

( At the Hospital.. )

" ARHITTT!!.... " he shouted abruptly and frantically looking around but he felt weak and can't move. He saw a nurse hurriedly hold him to avoid his panic.

" Sir,... Please calm down, you are safe now and here at the hospital."  the nurse calmly hold him and give him a glass of water. A doctor show up immediately and check his vital and ask how he feel and if he remembers everything, which he nodded .

" Doc, where is my friend Arthit ..Is he ok? "

" I'm sorry Mr. Lowell but your friend didn't make it, I'm sorry for your loss."

He paled and remain motionless, shock hearing the news, not minding when the doctor left. His tears suddenly falling freely on his cheek. His heart grieve and felt heavy for his friend who sacrifice his life to save him, he felt drowsy and started to close his eyes since the medicine start kicking in.

The next day his lawyer visit him and told him a good news.

" Mr. Lowell, congratulations for your successfull finding, You hit a diamond mine!" His enthusiasm anger Mr. Lowell but he tried to rein his anger..

" Thank You Mr. Davis, ....that success cost my friend life..."  his cold voice makes the lawyer eyes goes wide and shut his mouth immediately.

" Please do a proper arrangement for my friend burial and kindly check his things if he had a family and also their whereabouts."

" Yes, Mr.Lowell, I'm sorry for my behavior, please get well soon.." the laywer said apologetically and left hurriedly.

As soon as the lawyer left, Mr. Lowell mind began to wander how his friend died saving him. Eversince they meet at the mining, he known Arthit as a loner, he was always hanging out by himself and holding something on his hand. Sometime he could see him looking at it and smiling while holding it. His thoughts was interrupted by the sudden knock and soon his workers enter.

" Master Lowell, a nurse from mortuary give me this necklace of Sir Arthit." His worker said and give him the necklace with a heart locket.

He stare hard on it, tears beginning to slipped on his eyes when he saw the necklace with blood stain.

" Thank You, is there any casualty?"

" Everyone is ok Master, Sir Arthit help us to evacuate everyone as soon as the ceilings collapsed and comeback for you when he learned you were still inside." 

At the worker revelation, it makes him more sad knowing the truth, his heart felt  heavy and with heavy sighed he and look outside of his private room. Feeling bad, knowing everything, the heroic act of  his friend  and losing him makes him unhappy and grief stricken.

" Am i worth of your sacrifice my friend?" As he look outside of the window.

A month passed by and he was fully recovered even his legs still cast with wire to support his bones. Since he is orphaned, His family left him their wealth which he ventured for mining and real estate. He had a butler that supervise his home and the wife who take care of him since he was a kid. His Butler help him dress up and settle him in a wheelchair since he can't use his legs.

" Mr. Hans, did your men find out the where about of Arthit family?"

" I'm sorry Master, Sir Arthit is orphaned like you and he grow up at the orphanage."

" What about the woman on his locket, did you find anything about her?"

"  Master, we found out who she is but we we're too late, our people can't find her whereabouts after her family throw her out when they find out she was 5 months pregnant with Sir Arthit."

" WHATTT!!??, ....,

What kind of parents are they???!!...,How could they be so cruel!," He yelled in anger.

" We need to find her, Mr Hans! Add more mens if necessary, Arthit family need our help!" He exclaimed desperately knowing the dire situation of Arthit family and with a heavy heart they continue going out of the hospital. Arthit was cremated and his ash was place in his family ancestral mausoleum. For now he place it there till his family is found and decides what to do on his ash.

They arrived at his estate and greeted by his people, Mrs Hans together with his son approach him and gives him a hug, his Son politely bow to him which make him ruffles his hair.

" How are you Nana?...i hope Andre didn't give you a headache?" Mr Lowell slightly tease to lighten the somber mood.

" Hmmmppttt!!!... Andre??," with her on her hips,

" Nah... It was you who cause me a headache not him!..just check yourself!?" She blurted out.

I cringe when she start nagging me and i tried to give him a puppy look.

" I'm sorry Nana, I'm here now, please don't get mad ok..." i hugged her and soon i hear her sobbing and her nonstops babbling about my safety and health.

" Andre kindly help bring young master to his room please." Nana says to his son who still look haughty because of his mother berate.

I make face of him and shook my head when i caught Nana scolding looks. My Butler Mr Hans just shakes his head with our childish banter.

" By the way Master, Mr. Davis left Mr. Arthit belonging in your study. He found his diary on his room and told me to give it to you. "

" Ok Mr.Hans, please bring it to my room.... I will check it once I get my rest and thank you."

Once he left, Andre pushed my wheelchair to my room which located on the south wing. I help myself to my bed once I'm in my room.

" Andre, how was your school? "

" School is fine Master Jace, just some asshole who think they were great.." a hint of anger on his face.

" Ohhhh....do you want me to settle it?"

" Nah... this is nothing i can't handle Master, beside you guys enrolled me in self defense classes."

" You're right but you know the rules Andre, Don't use your knowledge on nonsense fight. Soon you'll be train in other self defense too."

" I understand Master Jace, Papa always reminded me everyday."  I chuckles as he rolled his eyes and make face on me which makes me smirk at him.

" Ok, let me rest and please tell to your mom to wake me up before dinner, thank you Andre."

I smile when he nod at me and went out of my room. I sighed deeply while looking at my injured legs, luckily the bones was not badly damaged but there's a steel attached on it to keep my bones together. I'm thankful for Arthit sacrifice, I have to find his family as soon as possible . I close my eyes thinking of his diary and what i can learn from it, soon the medicine took effects on my senses and sent me to dreamland.

=Time Skip=

4 Months Later

" Master our men found out the where about of Sir Arthit wife but..."

" But what??!! " he abruptly cut the words before Nr Hans can finished.

" She passed away while giving birth to her child." Mr Hans continue in a sad tone.

" WHAT THE HELL!!,

What about her child?...did you find her/him?" Mr. Lowell asked in frustration and controlled emotions.He started to get livid with helplessness.

" I'm sorry Master, I failed to find her child, the people they talked told our men, they found her near at the road full of blood but no Baby." Mr.Hans bow deeply as he felt down in disappointing his Master he can feel how his master control his temper.

" Did our men find any clue to whom she give her child and the gender?" As he look directly at Mr Hans face.

" I'm sorry but they can't find anything Master! "

"  AHHHHHH!!! "

Crasshhhhh.....

as the broken glass shattered after being thrown.

" Master..,

calm down Master, We will do our best to look for Sir Arthit child." Mr Hans said with determination.

" How!! ??? .... ,

How can i  calm down??.... We don't  even know where to look and the gender, for f..k sake the child is alone out there!" Mr.Lowell shouted angrily, His mind and heart deeply lost its will how to find his friend child. He plan to adopt him/her since half of the diamond mining was Arthit to honor his bravery and heroic actions.

After cleaning my mess Mr Hans left me alone in my office, i walked towards the balcony and looked far away.

" Dont worry Arthit, i will find him/her even it will take years, i will never stop till i find your offspring.

Mr.Lowell promise himself and sigh deeply, a frown visible on my face. The mining site produced a first class diamonds and sometimes we find rare gems. I dont plan to have a Family of my own, Nana family and Arthit child is enough. I dont need a relationship and so called standing. I'm on my own and I'm happy of the way it was.
