You continued to walk down the sidewalk not really sure of where you want to go. You kept wiping the tears off your face only for them to be replaced with more. You tried your hardest to stop crying but you couldn't. Ran was the first and only person you've ever felt this way towards. You had nothing but love for him, and now you were walking away from him and the relationship.

     You didn't want to walk away though, you wanted to run back to him but you could never forgive him for being unfaithful. It was something that you knew would plague your mind every time he would go somewhere. You'd find it hard to trust him and if you don't have trust, what do you have? You passed by the park and more tears fell, who knew your favorite place could so quickly become one you wanted to ignore. You passed by a river and decided to sit for a little bit.

     You sat down and brought your knees to your chest and hugged them. You laid your forehead against your knees and listened to the river. The sounds of the water flowing brought a sense of comfort to your mind and, just for a minute, you forgot what was wrong. It felt as though the world had been turned off around you. You took deep breaths and smiled to yourself, you felt comfort.

     Ran on the other hand was racing through the crowded streets still trying to find you. Rindou had somehow managed to catch up to him and now the pair was searching for you. They passed the park and went inside looking everywhere for you but finding no sign that you were there.

"If she's not here, she's at home." Ran said dashing out and in the direction of your house.

     Rindou followed him to your street and then up to your front door. Ran was already at the door banging and attempting to turn the door handle. After a few seconds Ran was running to the other side of the house trying to get to your bedroom. He looked in through the curtains and saw that you weren't home. Ran's face had gone slightly pale and Rindou quickly took notice.

"Ran, what? Whats wrong?" Rindou asked nervous.

"She's not here but if she isn't here... where is she?" Ran panicked.

"Okay, calm d-"

"DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN! I HAD A FIGHT WITH MY GIRLFRIEND AND NOW SHE ISN'T AT EITHER OF HER COMFORT SPOTS AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE SHE COULD BE!! WHAT IF SHE'S HURT RINDOU, HMM? EVER THINK MAYBE SOMETHING HAPPENED TO HER?!" Ran yelled in Rindou's face.

Rindou pushed Ran against the side of your house.

"Calm down. I highly doubt she's hurt. You guys have been together for how ever long, maybe she knew you'd look in those places so she went somewhere else. Lets WALK back to the park, maybe in your craziness you missed her. Come on." Rindou said releasing Ran's shoulders and pulling him along.

     Ran and Rindou did just that, although Ran definitely had some haste in his steps. Ran and Rindou made their way back to the park looking in every possible corner they could. Alleyways, public benches on the sidewalks, they even looked at every group of people seeing if they could find you amongst them. You however, you were still sitting by the river just listening to the running water. Ran and Rindou were passing by the river when Rindou looked over.

"Ran, is that her?"

"WHERE?!" Ran asked jogging back to Rindou.

"Back there near that river." Rindou said pointing to the river.

     Ran turned his head in the direction in which Rindou pointed in. Ran saw your crouched figure sitting by the rivers edge. Ran stared at you for a moment before Rindou pushed him. He ran over to you and slowed down, hoping he wouldn't scare you. You were so comfortable you didn't notice his presence until he sat down next to you.

You jumped and turned to your right and once you saw his face all your emotions came back, including the tears. He went to wipe them but you pushed his hands away, only for him to bring them right back. He softly wiped the tears off your face but that didn't help as more and more continued to fall. 

"Please stop crying (Y/N). You know I hated seeing you sad." His voice was the softest you've ever heard. "Please can I just explain myself and then you can make your decision to stay or leave? Please?"

     You sat for a moment before nodding your head. Ran told you everything. Everything from the beginning of the day to this point now. Hell he even explained what the gang meeting was about, which was rare considering he never wanted you involved in gang activities. You sat there for a moment before bursting into tears again.

"Wait stop, why the tears?" Ran asked pulling you into his chest as he rubbed your back.

"Because this whole time I was thinking that you were this secretive person who's hiding something horrible from me and all you were doing was trying to keep me safe." You cried into his chest.

"Stop crying (Y/N). Its okay, shh." He cooed trying to get you to calm down.

     Ran moved his hands to the back of your thighs and pulled you into his lap. You rested your knees on either side of him and he held you. You didn't know for how long but you knew it was a long time. You wiped your face and pulled away from him and looked into his beautiful eyes. He smiled back at you rubbing your face with his thumb.

"I guess maybe I should be more honest in the future hmm?" Ran asked.

Your eyes widened when he finished his sentence.

"What? What do you mean?" You breathed out.

     Ran sat there for a moment not sure how to continue. A million thoughts were currently running through his head and none of them were good ones. He sat and tried to form a sentence to answer your question but nothing would come out. His eyes just swelled with tears like how yours were a moment ago. He took a deep, shaky breath and repeated his sentence.

"I said maybe I should be more honest in the future. We do have a future together, right?"
