Arshita's Pov

I was sitting in my living room, eyes stucked to tv as I was home alone and decided to watch movie! That too a horror one, brave of me right!

What can I do? I was bored! And while I expected something excited to happen today as its new year's eve but here.

It's been a month after Abhay and Shriya's marriage! And they were still not over talking about their awesome honeymoon in Paris!

And me? I was here because my boyfriend was 'very busy' if I say in his words since the last two days! I don't even know doing what?

I even called him last night and he just talked to me like for ten or fifteen minutes and them hung up saying I have some work, will talk to you later. I mean who does that?

It was 8:00 pm right now and I was engrossed in the movie so I jumped off in surprise when my house bell rang!

I paused the movie and got up lazily walking up to the door expecting it to be my mom as she was out for some work but when I opened the door I was greeted by a smiling Shubman!

"Woww I'm surprised!" I said and he chuckled. I looked at him from top to bottom and I couldn't deny that he was looking smokin' hot right now in all black but I can't compliment because I was supposed to be angry on him.

Shubman's look

"What were you doing?" he asked and I gave him a cheeky smile, "Well I was watching a horror movie alone because my busy boyfriend didn't had time for me!" I said and he gave me a sheepish smile.

"Someone's in a bad mood! I need to be careful" he said and I gave him a glare at which he chuckled, "Acha let's do one thing!" He said but I stopped him, "Stopp! I'm not doing anything and I'm going to finish my movie! If interested you can join" I said and walked back towards the couch and he followed me.

"I'll complete the movie for you cuz you're going to get ready now!" He said and handed a me a bag which had clothes in it!

"Sorry?" I asked and he pushed me towards my room, "Yess wear this and come fast, tab tak mai baki ki movie dekh leta tumhari taraf se" he said and I finally went in.

I wore the dress which he bought for me and I must say it was very beautiful! Obviously his choice is super awesome!

Arshita's look

I was finally ready after like fifteen or maybe twenty minutes and when I walked out Shubman was totally engrossed in the movie cuz he didn't even noticed me coming out.

"Bhuuuu" I said as I was behind the couch and he jumped as his hand reached upto his chest in surprise, "You scared me!" He said and I started laughing.

"I meant to!" I said and he made a face while I was still laughing. As I stopped laughing I realized that he was looking at me while grinning.

"What?" I asked and he got up as he came upto me, "You're looking absolutely gorgeous and we're matching too!" He said winking at me and I smiled.

"I didn't told you before as I was angry but you're also looking veryy handsome!" I said and he smirked.

"I know that's why you love me!" He said and I laughed, "Are you done with today's self obsession?" I asked and he nodded as he forwarded his hand and I took it.

"Shall we?" he asked and I nodded as we finally walked out towards his car.

He was driving while his one left hand was intertwined with mine and I was smiling like an idiot right now thinking of how we came up together as we are today!

"Am I the reason of that smile?" he asked me and I looked at him, "What do you think?" I asked and he smirked.

"I think it's definitely about me" he said and I chuckled, "Do you remember that day when you first time talked to me?" I asked and he nodded.

"How can I forget? You were so rude to me" he said and I looked at him, "Haww how was I rude! I even gave you my pen!" I said defensively and he shooked his head.

"You didn't even told me your name! And when I tried to talk you said 'Besides being handsome you should also know that if the teacher came you should stop talking!'" he said trying to imitate me and I started laughing, "You remember that?" I asked laughing.

"Obviously no one ever said something like that to me! Specially girls" he said and I gave him a cheeky smile.

"Exactly everybody's not me!" I said and he chuckled, "That's truee! You're only one and mine!" He said and kissed our intertwined hands.

After a thirty minutes rides he finally stopped the car and we came out. We were not standing at the backyard of Shubman's penthouse.

"Finally you're here!" I heard Shriya's voice as she and our whole group came upto us!

"Okay so everyone's here! What's going on?" I asked and Abhay gave Shubman a look.

"We're having a bonfire party as it's new year's eve!" Abhay exclaimed happily and I smiled, "Woww that's great! But why didn't I knew anything about this?" I asked and Shriya as usual stomped Shubman's foot, "Because this idiot forgot to tell you about it" she said.

I looked at him and he gave me a sheepish smile, "Well I was busy doing a very important work!" he said and I glared him.

"Can I know what's this important work cuz I'm tired of listening this line since last two days!" I said and he winked at me, "You'll know soon!" He said and we finally walked inside where Manjot, Nagar, Aditi and Ayushi were already busy eating and drinking.

All of us settled down around the fire and started talking, joking and eating enjoying the beautiful night with the most precious persons in my life.

Each one of them has been a wonderful friend to me since I've met them and have played a great role in my life! They've always been like 'When worse comes to worst! Squad comes first'

I feel really lucky to have them in my life and never ever want to lose even a single one of these seven amazing persons!

I was sipping my beer while lost in my own thoughts when Shubman nudged me and I looked at him coming out of my train of thoughts.

"Why do you keep getting lost again and again?" he asked me and I smiled, "I wasn't lost! I don't know why but today I'm again and again getting reminded of how lucky I am to have you all!" I said and he grinned.

"Aww my senti daisy!" He chuckled while pulling my cheeks and swatted his hands away, "I'm not senti!" I said and he was laughing when suddenly Nagar spoke.

"I'm very senti today!" He said and we looked at him trying not to laugh, "Kyuu jyada pii li?" Abhay asked him and he shooked his head.

"Nhi I was missing my girlfriend!" Nagar said and we all gave him a confused look, "But then I realized that I don't have a girlfriend" he added and all of us started laughing while he frowned.

"Ayee tu apna rona dhona side rakh humlog game khelte hai!" Shriya said and we all agreed and started playing dumb charades!

We kept playing for hours and as for the update Manjot, Abhay and I were the worst actors! Everyone laughed more other than guessing our movies.

"Acha ladies and gentlemen new year me sirf five minutes bache hai so we'll do one thing now!" Shubman said as he stood up from his seat and everyone looked at him.

"Kya dance?" Ayushi asked but Abhay stopped her, "Sunn toh le naach lena bad me!"
He said and she made a face as Shubman continued.

"Okay as the clock ticks 12 we all will take a cup of beer with a new year's resolution one by one" He explained and everyone agreed.

"Oyee it's almost time sb khade ho jao!" Shriya said as we all stood up except Manjot, "Kyuu national anthem thodi krna hai!" He said laughing and received a glare from her standing up instantly.

"5..4..3..2..1... HAPPY NEW YEAR!" All of us shouted together on top of our voices doing a group hug which is necessary.

"So who's starting?" I asked and Shriya raised his hand and we all nodded as she picked up her glass of beer and spoke up.

"My 2020 resolution is to accomplish the goals of 2019 which I should have done in 2018 because I promised them in 2016 and planned them on 2015!" she said while all of us were looking at her in confusion.

"Yeah something like that!" she said and Abhay nudged her, "What was that babyy?" he asked and she chuckled.

"Bakwaas! Because I'll do what I want to and that definitely includes loving you!" she said winking at him and Abhay chuckled as she drank her beer.

"Bhut hi ganda tha yarr I'll go next!" Nagar said and we all chuckled, "Haa go on!" Mandy patted his back and he also picked his mug and spoke, "My 2020 resolution is to make a girlfriend and prove Mandy wrong!" Nagar said and we all started laughing s he drank his beer.

"Ohh shit mission impossible!" Manjot said while laughing and Nagar punched him.

"I'm next!" Ayushi said picking her mug and we looked at her, "I'll try to be less annoyed by their shitty jokes!" she said pointing at Manjot and Nagar and we all chuckled as they frowned.

"I'm next!" I said and everyone looked at me, "My 2020 resolution is to open a comedy show for all of us" I said and everyone laughed, "But seriously never ever leaving you guys cuz I love you all" I added and they all wemt like 'awww'

"Meri bari!" Abhay said flashing a big smile at us as we all looked at him, "I'll get you all someone who will call you chachu and buas'" he said and we all laughed as Shriya hitted his arm but still blushed.

"My turn!" Aditi said picking her mug and laughed as she said, "I'm seriously jealous of you all so I'm also going to find a boyfriend!" she said and we nodded our heads, "Sure sure!" I said chuckling.

"Ab maii" Manjot raised his over excitedly and spoke up, "My 2020 resolution is that I'll try to act more mature now!" He said and we all were already laughing, "That really sounded like a joke you know!" Shubman said and he made a face while while drinking his beer.

"Your turn!" I said to Shubman and he flashed a great dimple showing smile of his as he spoke up, "My 2020 resolution is to make each and every moment memorable for both of us!" He said and I grinned as he kissed my forehead.

"Awww someone's being extra cheesy!" Shriya said and we all laughed.

"Okay game finished ab hum log ko chalna chaiye!" Shubman said as he suddenly stood up taking my hand in his.

"Areyy kaha?" I asked and he looked at me and then at everyone who were giving him knowing looks about something I didn't knew!

"You'll know when you come with me!" He said and pulled me up as I looked at everyone in confusion.

"He's not kidnapping you! I promise so stop looking so scared" Chia said to me and I chuckled, "Finee byee!" I said and we moved out towards Shubman's car and sat inside.

Shubman's Pov

I was driving while Arshu has been continously asking me where we were going! I planned something for but I wasn't going to tell her like this.

I really wanted to do something special for Arshu ever since I came back from New York as I didn't even got the chance of proposing her nicely or having something planned as all of us were busy with the wedding and all so finally I got the chance today and we're heading that way!

People say love is powerful! It can make you do things you could never imagine doing otherwise and I guess that's true because when I left India, coming back was not even the last idea on my mind!

But this girl and her love made me do that and I can't be more sure about anything else in my life and I know that I'll never finish falling in love with her.

"Shub I'm asking you for the last time where are we going?" she asked bringing me out of my lovely thoughts and I looked at her.

"And I'm telling for the last time don't ask me that question!" I said giving her a cheeky smile and she huffed turning to look out of the window.

We finally reached our destination and I parked my car a bit forward so that she doesn't get to know where we were and before she could get out of the car and I held her hand.

"Wait daisy you're so desperate!" I said and she gave me a glare while I chuckled. I tied a blindfold around her eyes and then finally got out of the car.

I held her hand and we walked over for her surprise and I made her stand at particular place.

"Are you leaving me on an isolated place where animals can kill me?" she asked when I left her hand and I chuckled.

"Maybe!" I said while she was making faces, "And don't move, animals will find you sooner if you make noise!" I added while she stood quietly.

I finally came opened her blindfold stood in front of her and while she looked around and her expressions were changing with every second and then she finally smiled widely.

"Are you serious?" she asked and I nodded as I took her hands in mine, "You know this beach if my favourite." I said and she smiled.

"Why?" she asked and I looked in her eyes while coming closer, "Cuz I saw you here for the first time! Though you were crying but you still managed to make my heart do million back flips!" I said and she wasn't able to stop smiling.

I kissed her forehead and then sat down on one knee and she kept staring at me. She was going to say something but I stopped her.

"I know you'll ask that why am I doing this again so the answer is that I didn't got the chance to properly propose you or plan anything and so I'm doing this because I wanted to be put proposal the best ever!" I said and by now she had tears in her eyes.

"Everything you do for me is best ever!" she said and I smiled, "Still!" I said and she giggled.

"Arshu this was really difficult to learn so listen carefully!" I said and she chuckled, "Okay I'm listening!" she said and I nodded.

"Daisy I promise you no one will ever work harder to make you happy or cherish you more than me! And I can't imagine my life without you in it. I want to grow old with you. So will you do the honours of living the rest of your life with me? And you have two options! 'Yes or Yasss' " I asked and she nodded while smiling and crying at the same time.

"I'll got with the second one! Yassss Donald I love you and I vow to spend every moment with you! You know I waited for you because honestly I didn't wanted anyone else!" she said and I hugged tightly and she hugged me back and I kissed on the top of her head.

I broke the hug and took out a small velvet box from my pocket and opened it in front of her,"Can I?" I asked and she nodded, "Oh my God! This is so beautiful." she exclaimed and I smile while taking her hand in mine.

I slipped the ring in her finger and kissed her hand saying, "Yess it is but not more than you!" I said and he smile as I leaned in and kissed her while she wrapped her hands around my neck and gave in! I must day this is the best day of my life.

"Okay time for the next one!" I said and she looked at me confused, "Now what? I guess you were busy for two doing all this right?" she asked and I took her hand in mine nodding, "Yeah you're right ma'am! Now come with me" I said and we walked to the other way.

We walked beside the beach and she stopped as she looked at the second arrangement and them turned to me, "How do you always manage to surprise me?" she asked and I slunged my arm around her shoulders, "That's my ninja technique" I said and she chuckled.

"Here we have you favourite ilatian cuisine ma'am" I said as she sat on one of the chairs and them smiled widely, "Woww now I'm hungry just by looking at it!" she said and I chuckled at I sat in front of her.

We started eating the food and it was really delicious!

"Acha question game we have one-one question left and if you give a good answer you'll get a gift!" I said and she nodded while looking at me, "Okay but it shouldn't be a maths question!" she said and I laughed.

"Okay so pizza or me?" I asked smirking and she gave me a pleading look, "That's not fair!" she said and I chuckled, "Fast! Your answer" I said and she thought while eating her pizza and the smiled.

"Okay it's with a pizza in your hand!" she said and I laughed, "Smart answer!" I said and she chuckled as I got up from my seat and went towards her.

"So here's your gift" I said opening a box in front of her and she looked at me in shock, "Seriuosly? First the and now this!" she asked me and I smile.

"You have to take this, I designed this specially for you!" I said and she smiled, "Really it's gorgeous?" she asked and I nodded.

I took the locket out of the box and tied it on her neck. "This looks more pretty on you!" I said and she blushed.

"Okay now I'll ask you a question and if you give a nice answer you'll get a romantic dance!" she said smiling and I nodded, "As you say!" I said.

"Okay so a romantic day out with me or your necessary gym workout?" she asked raising an eyebrow and I smiled, "That's hard!" I said and she smirked.

"Well a couples' day at gym followed by a long romantic day out with you!" I said and winked at her, "Hmm that sounds good!" she said and we smiled.

I forwarded my hands towards her and she took it, "Dance time!" I said and we got up as I played a song on my phone. 'Fallin' all in you' by Shawn Mendes!

We danced whole looking in each other eyes and not wanting this night to end ever cuz nothing seemed more beautiful than today! Everything was just perfect and nothing can go wrong when you gave that one person beside you!

I looked in her eyes and she looked at me as I joined my forehead with her.

"You know it's funny I never knew anything I wanted in someone UNTIL I MET YOU!" I said and she smiled widely while looking at me!

"The feelings are mutual! And honestly I never wanted more, UNTIL I MET YOU!" she said and I hugged her never wanting to let go and maybe this is was forever moment!

There's no time frame when people fall in love. It happens differently for everyone. When you find that one that makes your heart skip a beat and you miss them when they're not here, that's love. It's the good, the bad and everything in between! Is it easy? It never is. But is it worth it? It's always is!
