"You see, I love you and I don't want to lose you because my life has been better since the day I found you!"

Arshita's Pov

I felt my heart skip a beat.

As I took out that notepad out of that parcel, I looked at it carefully and just by looking at it I felt as if everything once again came in front of me and I wasn't even able to gather up the courage to even open it!

I didn't wanted to raise my expectations just over a sketchpad after all! But it seemed so difficult to do so right now. I kept looking at the notepad in my hands when Manjot nudged my shoulder.

"Open it!" he said.

I looked at it and took a deep breath before opening it, I didn't wanted to assume things and get happy over my illusions.

I opened it and to my surprise on the very first page if had my sketch! I ran my fingers on the sketch recalling the day when he made a sketch of mine for the first time.

A wide smile made its way to my face as I turned the and found another sketch of mine. As I kept turning the pages I couldn't help but smile like an idiot because of all those sketches!

But I came to a halt when I reached the very last page! It was a very cute sketch of Donald and Daisy. I giggled looking at that and my eyes went down towards the right corner of the page.

It had a note which said, "I know I'm awesome and I also know that you didn't opened that wrapped gift so please do the honours!" I chuckled and instantly took out that wrapped gift.

I quickly unwrapped it and looked at the soft toy in awe. It was a Donald's soft toy with a small note in its hand. I smiled widely and took out that note.

"Meet me at the beach!"

I almost fainted at the thought of this. At the thought of him returning back! Is this truee? Am I not dreaming? I looked at everyone with a shocked expression and they smiled at me.

Abhishek handed me the car's key and I gave him a grateful smile, I took the key and almost ran out of the house. I parked the car at the beach and my heart did a back flip just at the sight of that familiar car parked there.

For the last two years I made myself believe that I was over him but I guess I wasn't right.

And today when the possibility of meeting him again was in front of me it tucked at me that I never really was over him! It was like a part of me that was kept quite for  a long time was woken up.

He was back.

He was fucking back.

I could feel my heartbeat rising with each step that I took towards the beach. I looked around frantically just in case I would miss him.

It's been two years since I looked at or talked to him. And my feet slowed down as I looked around and found his back facing me. He was looking toward the sea and I knew it was him.

It's been two years.

I going to see him!

I slowly walked towards him and kept talking deep breaths and it felt like my heart was ready to come out of my mouth any time. I guess he sensed my presence as I walked closer and turned.

My breathe hitched as I looked at those electrifying brown eyes!

He walked closer as grin made its way to his face. He came and stopped almost five steps away from me.

"Shub" I said when at the same time he said, "Arshu!"

We kept looking at each other not wanting to back out when we got a chance after those long two years! I missed that smile, I missed those eyes, I missed every fucking thing and I missed him!

"How —how are you? I mean it been.... so long!" I asked nervously breaking the silence.

"I've been all right!" he said slightly shrugging, smile not leaving his face even for a second, "How about you? I heard you won third place in that writing competition" he said.

I shooked my head chucking slowly as I kept looking at his face, "That's old news!" I said.

He laughed as he took a step closer, "Two years huhh?" he said slowly running a hand through his hair.

I looked at him more closely and I still was trying to make myself believe that he was really back, "You came back!" was all I could say.

"Aisa hi lg rha hai. I guess" he said smirking and I chuckled.

"Btw ye wapas aane ka itna acha khayal apke dimag me kaise aaya!" I asked raising an eyebrow.

He chuckled, "Well I have reason!" he said.

"Okay go on" I said nodding my head.

"First, it's my best friends' wedding" he said and I grinned as I was so glad that he was going to be there with us for all those most awaited moments.

"Second" he said and with a pause he added, "I met Manasvi there!" he said and right at the moment I felt a stab at my heart. It was like those words were thrown at me and were meant to be hurting.

"Ohhh — woww! I mean...... that's" I stammered looking down at my feet.

"So, are you guys back..... together?" I asked looking down at my hands fiddling with my fingers not wanting to know his answer.

"No we're done" he said and I looked up letting out a breathe I don't know I was holding for how long, "Were just friends" he said.

"Just friends" I asked smirking at him and he nodded smiling.

I looked down smiling to myself by at the relief! He kept staring at me as he took some more steps closer, enough for his familiar scent to fill the air between us.

"So what happened?" I asked, "Lambi kahani hai!" he said with a shake of his head.

"Mujhe jaldi nhi hai" I said smiling slightly and added, "And I'm also in a mood for some rounds of Question Game! You?" I asked.

His lips rose into a small smile at the mention of that game, as he stepped one step more closer leaving no space between us.

"Maybe after I'm done with the third and last reason I'm back!" he said amusingly.

"And what's that?" I asked looking at him nervously.

"I wanted to tell you something!" he said taking my right hand in his and I cheeks were already heating up because of the closeness.

"Me?" I asked and he nodded smirking.

"Okay toh listen very carefully haa, ek ek word! Mai repeat nhi karunga" he said smiling and I just nodded very confused.

As I kept staring at him not aware of what he was going to so or say next. He sat down on his knee while my hand was still in his. I looked down at him in shock and he just shrugged his shoulders chuckling.

"Arshu! Meeting you was my fate. Becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control. Since the day I met you, I haven't spent a single moment thinking about you. You're in thoughts, in my heart and in my mind always" he said and I was just looking at him as tears were already flowing out of mu eyes and I didn't even bothered to wipe them as I was so busy admiring the person in front of me.

"I know I was an idiot to leave you two years ago! But let it go now, as you said it's old news" he said with a small chuckle, "So I guess meri speech achi thi, and now I'll just say that I love you Arora, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked and I chuckled

I just nodded and he stood up happily as I hugged him tightly not wanting to let go, he hugged me back with the same affection and urgency and it felt so good to be in his arms after so long.

He pulled back from the hug and looked at me. I raised an eyebrow as if asking what!

"You were supposed to say 'I love you too!'" he said making a face and I laughed, "What if I don't say?" I asked smirking.

"Then I'm going back to New York right now!" he said trying to go away and I chuckled holding his hand and pulling him back towards me.

"Shut up, tumko kidnap krke apne ghr me bnd kr dungi mai" I said making him laugh, "Bedroom me krna please" he said laughing and I hitted his arm.

"Acha listen" I said and he looked at me, "I love you too" I said and he  grinned.

"I loved the sound of that!" he said grinning and I  smiled.

He tucked the strands of my hair behind my ear as he copped my face and came closer. I looked in his eyes as he spoke up, "Promise kro iske bad mujhe marogi nhi!" he said giggling and I chuckled as he asked the same question when kissed me for the first time.

"Kuch pakka nhi hai!" I gave him the same amswer and he laughed.

He kissed my forehead and as soon as he came close to my lips we got interrupted by none other than Mr Abhishek Sharma.

Shubman's Pov

"Abeyy saale dosto ko bhul!" Abhay said laughing and we turned to look at everyone. I immediately hugged him and he hugged me back laughing.

"Haa tujhe yaad na meri aai kisi se ab kya kehna!" Manjot sang as they came upto us, "Areyy Mandy beta tu kitna bada ho gya!" I said and he punched my arm as we all laughed, "New York me kisi aunty ke sath reh rha tha kya? Ye sb kaha se sikha?" Nagar asked chuckling and I hugged him too.

"Maine almost apne New York ke tickets book kr liye the!" Chia said and I looked at her confused, "Haiin kyuu?" I asked.

"Kyuki agr tu nhi manta toh tujhe maar maar ke apni shadi me lati" she said and I laughed as I side hugged her, "Ana hi pada, cuz I didn't wanted to die so soon!" I said and she chuckled.

"I missed you guys so much" I said as all of us did a group hug.

"Well finally both of you are together. I'm so happy for guys!" Shriya said hugging Arshu.

"Me too!" I said and everyone laughed.

"Yarr tumlog 2 min baad nhi Aa skte? Seriously, exact wahi time pe kaise?" I asked everyone slinging an arm around Arshita's shoulder.

"Ye humara talent hai!" Manjot said and I hitted his head.

All of us kept talking and hung out there for sometime, we talked about many things and there were hell lot of things which we all needed to catch up on.

As it got late all of us decided to head back to our respective houses. And I was also very tired after a long flight journey so I went straight back to home.

I was laying on my bed in the unable to sleep. So I did what I wanted to do for the past one hour!

I called Arshita and she picked it up after two rings.

"What?" she said I sighed, "Is this the way to greet your boyfriend?" I said and heard her laughing.

Godd! I missed this voice so much.

"Shut up!" she said chuckling and added, "Btw call kyuu kiya, weren't you sleepy?"

"Ummm... I guess I was missing someone" I said I know she was smiling right now.

"Can I know who's that someone!" she asked and I smiled as I sat up on my bed pressing the phone close to my ear.

"Don't you know?" I asked and she replied, "Nahh!"

"My girlfriend, thodi pagal si hai" I said and she started laughing, "Ayee mai pagal nhi hu!" she said and I chuckled.

"Now you know who I was talking about" I said and she giggled, "Ha ha okay!" she said.

"Acha, ek ajeeb sa question bhut der se mann me tha! Puchu?" I said and she hummed.

"Ek ghar me ek 'I love you' aur ek 'I miss you' rehta tha. 'I miss you' chala gya toh ghr me kaun bacha?" I asked trying not to laugh.

"I love you!" she said and I started laughing and that's when she realized what I asked and what she said.

"I love you too! Ab achi neend aaegi byee daisy" I said laughing and she also laughed.

"You're weird donald" she said but I know she was trying not to laugh.

"Ya I know but you don't have a choice now!" I said and she chuckled, "Yes yes! Now go to sleep byeee!" she said laughing and I smiled as she ended the call.

I smiled like an idiot while laying at my bed, as I was more than happy that I was back to her and finally I can call her mine!
