Arshita's Pov

"It's my choice!"

Those words made me shut.

I didn't even knew how to react or how to even ask him the reason! He was leaving for New York next week leaving everything behind.

His family. His freinds. ME! He was leaving everyone. I didn't even wanted to ask for the reason cuz I've had had enough and wasn't able to figure out things.

He told me he was leaving and I didn't even wanted to ask further the reason cuz I knew it would have been pointless. So I just nodded and persuaded him to head home as he's been here at the beach since morning and everyone must have been worried about him.

He left in his car promising not to dissappear again. I came back to my car and sat inside. I just tried to acknowledge the fact that he was leaving and there was nothing I could do about it.

And I didn't even fought back with him or made him tell me the reason because I knew he was right at his place! He wanted to sort out his life and it was his decision to leave, and maybe that was meant to happen.

"Abeyy ayee tum dono romance baad me krna abhi sb ready kro!" Manjot shouted at Abhishek and Shriya who were busy with each other having their time instead of looking after the preparations the next day as we were trying to prepare a farewell party type something for Shubman.

"Abeyy saale don't be jealous!" Abhay shouted while Shriya got up and came upto us.

"Maine tujhe kitni baar kaha hai kabab me haddi mt bana kr" She said to Manjot and he laughed, "Ye hi toh mera fav kaam hai"

"Abeyy kutto ki trh ladna bnd kro and help me!" Nagar shouted coming towards us while holding a big box of beer bottles.

"Kutta hoga tu!" Shriya and Manjot said in unison and started laughing.

"Yrr itni beer! Nagar dukan kholne ka socha hai kya" Ayushi said chuckling and he made a face.

"Jada problem hai tum log mat peena!" He said and started settling them.

"Arshu!" Manjot all of a sudden shouted and I looked at him, "Why so lost?" he added and I just shooked my head as if nothing.

Abhishek came upto me and kept a hand on my shoulder. I looked at him and he gave me a small smile, "I know what you're thinking!" he said.

I raised an eyebrow at him, "That what's wrong with us! I mean Shub is leaving and hum yaha uske liye farewell party organise krr rhe hai instead of persuading him not to leave!" he said and I just shooked my head.

"No.... No it's not like that" I said looking down. "Arshu you know there's this thing about moving on" He said and I looked up in confusion, "And what's that thing?" I asked.

"When you have a broken heart, other people can help you pick up it's broken pieces, but only you can glue it back together!" he said and I stared at him.

And I realized that he was right.

No matter how many people tell you to move on but it only happens when you decide to move on.

"Yahi reason hai that Shub isn't able to accept your feelings!" Abhay said and I looked at him, "What?" I asked.

"This whole think about moving to New York" he said giving me a known look, "This is Shub gluing his pieces together! It took him sometime to get there but that's cuz it took sometime for someone to come and help him to pick the pieces!" he added.

"You think I helped him?" I asked with a bit of hope.

He gave me a grateful smile while nodding his head, "You did" he said and I smiled.

"Excuse me!" Manjot all of a sudden came and stood between us, "Ek sawaal tha! Why is 'W' called double 'u' when it's actually double 'v'" He asked while I and Abhishek gave him a weird look.

"Is that even a question?" I asked chuckling and he laughed.

"Nhii! Aise hi pucha kyuki tum dono ki shakal dekh ke lag rha tha ki abhi rone lagoge to mood thk krne ke liye pucha!" Manjot said and Abhishek hitted his head laughing.

"Aur koi kaam nhi hai na tujhe" Abhishek said and he shooked his head, "Nahii" Manjot said making a face and we laughed.

"Guyss maine abhi Shub ko phone kiya tha and he'll be here in five minutes!" Chia said and we nodded.

We were at Abhishek's farmhouse and we all stood at the gate and exactly after five minute Shubman's car came in view.

As soon as he entered we all shouted "Surprise" and he looked at us in shock. As he realized what all this was he gave us his perfect dimple showing smile.

"Thank you so much guys and sorry too!" he said smiling.

"Sorry kyu?" Ayushi asked confused.

"For leaving you guys" he said looking down, Shriya walked upto him and hitted his arm, "You should be! Mera toh mann hai tujhe abhi maar du!" she said making a face and he chuckled.

"I know your intentions" he said giggling, "Leave all that abhi andar chal! Nagar ne beer ki dukan kholi hai" Manjot said making us laugh as we made our way towards the garden.

Everyone settled on the chairs in the garden and were talking, I went to take a beer bottle for myself. I picked up a bottle and as I turned I bumped into someone.

I looked up and Shubman smiled at me.

"Thank you!" he said and I raised an eyebrow, "For?" I asked.

"For understanding me!" he said looking in my eyes as I looked in his, "Why wouldn't I? Who do expect to understand Donald better than Daisy?" I said slightly smiling and he nodded.

"Yeah you're right! Daisy" he said smiling.

"Oyeee you can smile at each other afterwards abhi yaha aao hum game khelne jare hai" Nagar said and we went back to everyone.

"Okay so we're playing 'The confession game' Isme ek ek krke sb apna apna ek confession krenge and with that they also have to drink a mug of beer! Okay guys!" Shriya explained and everyone nodded as we all sat together in a circle.

"Toh first kaun jaega?" Abhishek asked and Nagar raised his hand, "Maii!"

"Tune aaj tk kisi ladki ke liye apni feelings toh confess ki nhi tu start krega!" Manjot said receiving a smack from Nagar.

"Yarr tu humesha bande ko demotivate kyuu krta hai?" He asked and Mandy just laughed.

"Acha bol tu bhut acha bolega bs!" he said and Nagar nodded like an innocent kid, "Abeyy ab bolega bhi!" Shubman said hitted his head.

"Haa bol rha hu! Toh I want to confess that maine last girlfriend 9th standard me banai thi! Uske baad bani hi nahi yarr" Nagar said making a sad face while we all started laughing.

"Yarr aise haso nhi it's a serious matter!" Shub said trying to control his laugh, "Haa bhai don't worry abhi tu ye pee girlfriend bhi milegi!" Abhay said making him drink the mug of beer.

"Okay so I'll go next" Shriya said and Abhishek nodded happily, "Bolo babyy" he said bringing his hand in front of her mouth as a mike.

"I want to confess that my boyfriend snores while sleeping!" She said looking at Abhishek.

"Acha okay!.... Abeyy ek min boyfriend mtlb mai" he said realizing what she said and we all busrt out laughing, "Yarr babyy how can you do this to me?" He asked frowning and we laughed more.

"Acha sorry babyy drink this!" Chia said making him drink the beer.

"Acha next mai!" Manjot said raising his hand, "Bol de tubhi!" Shubman said and he nodded.

"I want to confess that, maine last do mahine se ek bhi girlfriend nhi banai!" he said and Chia gave him slow claps, "That's really a long time span Mandy" she said and he nodded, "Haiinaa!"

"Hattt pee ise!" Nagar said handing him the beer mug as we all laughed.

"Next will be Arshu!" Ayushi said holding my hand and raising it and I looked at her in shock, "Me?"

"Yesssss" she said giving me a cheeky smile, "Okayy so I want to confess that..... That I like my second choice more!" I said slowly and looked at Shubman who was already looking at me.

"Haiinn mai samjha nahi!" Manjot said scratching the back of his head, "Jisko smjhna tha smjh gya you don't need to use your head" Abhay said and he made a face, "Acha toh phir ye peele" he said handing me the beer mug and I drank it.

We kept playing the game and it was really nice spending all this time with these six and I felt really nice and lucky to be a part of this great group. I feel so good everytime I'm with them.

We played, ate and drank and it was really late now and everyone was really tired and sleepy. And so we decided to stay in the farmhouse only.

Everyone went to the rooms to sleep as it was 2:00 at night now. I was still sitting in the living room on the couch sipping on a beer bottle.

I was lost in my own thoughts when someone spoke up from behind, "I guess someone isn't able to get sleep" Shubman said and I turned to look at him.

He raised an eyebrow and I just shrugged my shoulders, "Didn't felt like sleeping!" I said as he walked upto me and sat beside me on the couch picking up a beer bottle.

I looked at him and I don't know why but the words which came out from my mouth were, "Question game?"

He looked at me for a moment as if studying my face but finally nodded his head taking a swig of his beer.

"It's you turn" I reminded him.

"I know" he nodded.

He thought for a moment and I kept staring at him trying to read the emotions and feelings by his face which I wasn't able to do, "You said you liked me?" he suddenly spoke up.

I almost fell off from the couch as the blush rose upto my cheeks.

An amused smile made its way to his face as he looked at my flustered face, "When did you exactly started liking me?" he asked raising an eyebrow.

"Really Shub? Really?" I said and he rolled his eyes, "Yess Arshu! Really" he said.

I sat up a little straightly as I tried to think about all the moments we've spent together.

I tried to collect all those days we were together and that night came to my mind when we had that mid night picnic, or maybe even before that. I didn't exactly knew when it happened.

"That day when we went on trekking spot!" I finally said trying to control my blush.

"Really?" he asked a bit shocked at my answer as I nodded and said, "I don't exactly know maybe even before that!" I said scratching the back of my head.

I expected him to laugh or tease me but what I didn't expected was when he said, "I'm sorry!"

"What?"

"Nhi I mean maine intentionally kuch nhi kiya and maybe my actions must've made you like me as I was attracted to you from the starting and —" he was saying when I stopped him in between.

"You were?" I asked.

"Were what?" he asked confused.

"Attracted to me from the start?" I asked as I couldn't get anymore red and as I looked at him he was also blushing as he realized what he said.

"Uhh yeah I mean do you really think mai uss din pen lana bhul gaya tha? It was first day of the college Arshu!" he said looking at me as I realized it right.

"My turn!" I said as he nodded.

"So you said you were attracted to me from the start!" I asked and he looked down slowly, "Ummm... Yess"

"So when did you started liking me?" I asked.

He looked up at me and didn't even hesitated for a second when he answered, "That day when I forced you to go on a picnic with me after the night you stayed at my house!" he said.

I was caught off guard. Like he was so sure of his answer as if he had been knowing what I was going to ask, so I just stared at his face.

"My turn again" he said and I looked away nodding.

"So I was wondering 'Kyuuu'" he asked and I looked at him confused, "What do you mean 'kyuu'?" I asked.

"I mean tum mujhe kyuuu like krti ho?" he said and I flushed cuz there wasn't a single reason behind this. It felt like I had a whole list of the things which made me fall for him.

And so I was finding it hard to answer this question as I gave him a pleading look for him to consider and maybe change his question but he didn't, "I really hate you!" I said.

He chuckled and then looked at me, "Really is that what you feel for me!" he said making me blush even more"

I still wasn't able to answer the question and that's when he said, "Acha do one thing! Write me a letter about it!" he said and I looked at him.

"No..." I said and he spoke up, "Yess please! Give it to me before I leave!" he said.

I looked at his face for a moment and them finally nodded, "Okay fine!" I said and he smiled "Does that mean it's my turn again?" I said and he nodded.

I looked at him and it still hurted to think that he was going to leave very soon! And the only question which came to me was, "Why are you leaving?"

He looked at me and then looked down at his hands sighing, I wanted him to consider this and I really hoped that he would change his mind and tell me that okay I'm not leaving! But he didn't.

"Honestly!" he said slowly looking up and added, "Even I don't know"

"Then don't!" I said and I could feel letting all my walls down right now just so that I could stop him from leaving and he would stay here with us forever!

But the sigh which he let out was enough for me to understand that it wasn't even in his hands now!

"I'm sorry" he said looking down and I just looked away trying not to let the emotions take over me once again.

"It's okay!" I nodded slowly and kept my head on his shoulder feeling a bit dizzy as both of us went silent which wasn't even awkward now!
