"I wish I could turn back the clock. I'd find you sooner and love you longer!"

Arshita's Pov

As soon as those words left my mouth "we should break up" I looked at him and his face had an unreadable expression as he looked into my eyes before it broke into a grin.

"OH! Shriya and Ayushi are going to kill me" He said with a smile which wasn't real.

At first I blinked in surprise unable to react but then I felt a tinge of pain that he was worried about his life while I was worried about my heart.

"Seriously?" I asked making a straight face.

"No offence!" he said as a small smile came to his face, "I'm more worried about my life than you dumping me heartlessly" He said smirking.

"Shut up" I said chuckling and hitted his arm.

"You laughed!" he said happily.

"Still" I said.

"Anyway!" he said revealing his face into a serious one, "So we're calling this thing off?" he asked.

I swallowed, "Yeah" I said boy quite looking at him, "Humne ye relationship Siddharth ki wajah se start kiya tha and now when I done with him we should be too" I said.

I was speaking while trying to keep my emotions on the side and the only thing I could pray of was that he would still consider the the fact of us being friends even after this 'break up'

He kept his hand on my head and ruffled my hair giving a small smile, "Yeah! It should be" he said.

I didn't know what were his feeling at the moment as he said those words and I just wished I could do something that the things between us could remain same.

"So you're really done with Siddharth?" he asked as he removed his hand from my head.

"I hope so" I said nodding my head.

"And what do we tell everyone?" He asked and we planned how we were going to tell everyone tommorow at the cookout about everything.

After sometime when he decided to leave and I walked him out but he still looked reluctant to leave.

"Friends?" he said opening his hands towards me for a hug.

Before any other thought I rushed upto him and hugged him tightly, burrying my face in his chest, "Friends!" I agreed.

As we broke the hug he looked me in the eyes and a smile came to his face when he spoke, "You know, you really do smell nice"

Flustered I shoved him and hitted his chest lightly, "Stop being a pervert, Shubman Gill" I said.

He laughed and then said goodbye and as he turned to leave I dont know what came to me and I called out for him, "Shub!"

He turned around and I walked upto him and stopped when I was close enough and before I could think of anything else I tiptoed and planted a kiss on his cheek.

"Thanks for everything!" I said.

He froze and looked at me amused and when he recovered from the trance he gave a sweet smile and said, "Same"

"Then where's my kiss?" I said and the next moment I wanted to slap myself for saying that but I expected him not to ignore this.

He came closer and I froze on my stop as he brought his lips close to my forehead and kissed it gently.

"There" he said and stepped back giving a little wave, "See you tomorrow"

I nodded almost absentmindedly as one kiss from him was enough to send me on a dizzy spell.

As I came back to my room I realized how would the cookout  turn out as we decided to tell everyone, everything tomorrow about this fake relationship and I was more than nervous to do this.

Now when I stood in front of Ayushi's house, it seemed the most difficult task to ring the bell thinking of the consequences that would happen after we tell the truth.

But before I could think or ring the bell, Abhay came from the front door and as soon as he saw me he gave a me big smile and came to me.

"Finally you're here" he said coming upto me. "Where's Shub?" he asked.

"He'll come later" I said and he nodded as he lead me inside the house.

"The girls are inside" he said leading me inside the house, "Mai, Manjot aur Nagar grill ko chalane ki koshish krre hai but it doesn't work, vo sirf Shubman se chalta hai" he said making a face and I chuckled.

"The girls are in the game room and we're in the backyard" he said and I gave him a look, "Aren't you guys supposed to be playing games" I asked.

He laughed and turned to me, "You'll know once you see" he said and as soon as he pushed open the door of a room we were welcomed with a blast of music and there Shriya, Ayushi and a girl I don't know were trying to do some weird dance.

"Arshu" Shriya shouted happily as soon as she saw me gave me a bone crushing hug and Ayushi did the same.

"I'm glad you made it!" Ayushi said and added, "Anyways come we needed an extra dancer" she said happily.

I looked at Abhay and he gave me a look of pity. "How well do you dance?" Shriya asked me.

"I can't.... dance!" I said and she clapped her hands, "Finally I got someone I can beat" she said squeeling and Abhay laughed.

She looked at him and gave him a look, "What?" she asked.

"Is that you with one when Ayushi and Kyra are already at three stars" He said eyeing the big tv screen on which 'Just Dance' game was on.

"Shut up, tumhe jada aata hai toh tum krlo dance" Chia said to Abhay and he made a face, "Mujhe chalna chaiye byee girls" he said and left closing the door.

"Come here" Shriya said dragging me in front of the TV screen, "Btw this is Kyra! Ayushi's sister and Kyra this Arshita, Shub's girlfriend" She introduced us.

I offered Kyra a smile. She didn't returned it!

"Are we playing or not" Kyra asked.

"Come on" Ayushi said. "New song!"

I almost bolted out of the room because dancing on wierd songs was something else and some stranger girl sending daggers through her eyes at me was something very different and I had a feeling this was going be disaster.

"Sirf mujhe aisa lg rha hai?" I asked Shriya, "Ya ye sach me mere peeche padi hai?

Both of us were sitting in the kitchen as Shriya pressed the ice bag on my eye which was "accidently" hitted by my new BFF Kyra ignoring the countless times she stepped on my foot and elbowed my ribs.

"Umm mujhe nhi laga tha ye itna bura ho skta hai" Shriya said. I looked at her confused and asked "What?"

"Uhh.... Kyra kind of has a thing for Shub" she said and my thoughts came to a cold stop.

"Excuse me!" I said in shock, "Did you said she said a thing for Shub?"

"Umm.... He used to fool around with her" she said looking here and there.

"Can I know what does this 'fool around' means" I asked trying to keep my calm.

"When we get down to some beers.... they flirted and used to stick together!" she said and I could feel my blood boil just at the imagination of them being close.

"Don't worry!" Chia said, "It was before he met you"

"I'll need your help to kill her and store her body too" I said and she laughed.

"Sure I'll help!" she said chuckling.

"What help?" A voice came from behind and as we turned to look we found Shubman looking at us amused and he was looking as good as always.

As soon as he saw my face his smile faded and he rushed to us and say in front of me taking out a chair, "What the fuckeroony!" he shrieked.

"It was an accident" I said using the term my new BFF used just five minutes ago.

"What?" You ran into a fucking pole?" he said and he took the ice bag from Chia and placed it on my eye.

"Kyra accidently hitted her while we were playing 'Just dance'" Chia said and he looked at her confused.

"Kyra?" he asked, "Kaun Kyra?"

Dear God!

"Ayushi's sister" I said making a face.

"Ayushi has a sister!" he asked.

Oh my fucking.....

I and Shriya looked at each other and Shubman's expression was like he didn't had any idea what we were talking about.

He thought for a moment and then turned to us, "Ohhh that girl?" he said and I looked at him in disbelief.

"That girl?" I asked.

"I'm really bad with names!" he said letting out a nervous chuckle.

"You fooled around with her!" I stated.

Shriya cleared her throat and inched towards the out door, "I'll... umm... let you two talk alone!" she said and went out not before stepping on Shubman's foot.

"Shriya ne bataya you two used to flirt and hang out whenever you came here" I said keeping a straight face.

"Well...." he looked down scratching the back of his neck.

"This is Ayushi's sister we're talking about. Your friend's sister" I said giving him a wide eyed stare, "And you don't even remember her?"

"Why are you making a big deal out of this. It's nothing" he said.

"I just thought you were better than that" I exclaimed looking down.

"Maybe you thought wrong" he said and I looked at him. I know Shubman and this isn't the real him.

After a moment I again spoke up, "Are you going back to being a player or whatever now that we're done?" I asked nervously.

"Why does it matter?" he asked.

'Because it just does' I thought, "I don't know! I'm just curious" I said hoping my best that he would say no.

"No I won't" he said and I couldn't fight back a smile, "Poor girls, they won't get you anymore" I said teasingly.

"They are, aren't they?" he said chuckling.

I rolled my eyes, "Poor you too" I said and he laughed, "Well you're there Miss little porn star!" he said.

I hitted his arm, "Don't call me that Donald!"

"Whatever you say, Daisy!"

I chuckled and that's when we heard a excited squeel behind us, "Shubu" hearing that made me want to throw up.

"Shubu?" I repeated in disbelief.

We turned and that fuckabish girl rushed towards Shubman ignoring me giving him a wide eyed smile, "You don't come very often now" she said.

Shubman was looking like he wanted to dissappear right at the moment and that's when Ayushi came to our rescue, "Shub backyard chl na, grill isn't working" she said and Shubman immediately bolted out.

If I didn't liked Ayushi this much I would have ripped that Kyra's head till now.

"Kyra remember what I told you" Ayushi warned her sister.

"Yeah" Kyra gave a annoyed look "I know Girlfriend!"

I got up from my chair and walked towards the door not before shooting a cold glare at Kyra while Ayushi was telling her something or maybe warning.

I walked to the backyard and saw Shubman giving everyone a proud smile as he settled up the grill and Abhay gave him a fist bump.

Shriya called me from a distance where she was seated on some folding chairs. I came and sat beside her.

"Everytime!" she said smiling at everyone, "It's like that grill knows Shub only" she said.

We looked towards him he did a small bow and straightened his collar in proud giving us a smirky smile.

"He's an idiot!" I said fighting back a smile and Shriya nudged me by the shoulder.

"Yeah he could be" She said and turned to me smiling widely, "But heyy... You like him!" she said and I again looked at Shubman and he grinned. My heart did million back flips at that sight.

I looked down smiling and though I didn't confirmed Shriya's statement but I didn't even denied for it.

"Here"

I looked upto see Shubman handing me a beer bottle and he settled beside me on the grass sipping his own beer.

"So what's up?" I asked casually.

"Nothing much" he said and then smiled at me, "Just getting ready to beat you all in 'Just dance'" he said chuckling.

"Wow! last time khela toh dekha kya haal hua mera" I said laughing and he made a face.

"I'm sorry about Kyra!" he said scratching back of his neck, "Ye meri wajah se hua" he said.

"Aww don't feel bad, Shubu bear" I said.

He looked at me in horror!

"Shubu bear!" I said smirking, "Don't you like it"

He slightly shoved me by the shoulder smiling slightly, "You're not calling me that, are you Arshu pie" he said giggling.

"I don't know I kind of like this name, Shubu bear!" I said and laughed.

He looked at me and spoke up, "You know it's kind of late for us to give nicknames. We already 'broke up'"

"Toh tum Kyra ki tarah mera bhi naam bhul jaoge?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

He gave me small smile and said, "Kaun Kyra?"

We laughed, "Well you know my new BFF" I said.

"Aur Iss BFF ka full form kya hai?" he asked smirking.

"It stands for 'Best fucking fuckabish'" I said and he looked at me fighting back a smile.

"Fuck... aa...? What? Is that even a word" he asked chuckling.

"Really, what about you Mr. Fuckeroony?" I asked giggling.

"I told you it's already late for us to have nicknames" he said and I looked down.

I started picking out grass from the ground and said "Is it really?"

He looked at me and asked, "What?"

I shooked my head, "Nothing"

"Is there a problem Arshu pie?" he asked nudging my foot with his but I still didn't looked up.

"Question game?" I asked.

I looked at him trying to keep my emotions stable and not to let him see through me. He looked at me searching for my eyes and I didn't dared to look back. "Okay!" he said.

We were five question down to each and I don't know if he was going to answer this but I had to ask this. I had to.

So before I could think twice I looked in his eyes and asked, "Do you still love Manasvi?"

He stared at me but his face didn't had any emotions and I couldn't even tell what he was thinking about. It was like he had expected this question.

He looked away and didn't spoke for a moment and his expression looked distant, like he was trying to think of something, maybe a memory of both of them together.

He turned back to me with his exhausted eyes and sighed, "Can I use my pass?" he asked.

My heart sank to my stomach. I swallowed and nodded, "Sure" I got up before he could see my change of expressions or you can say feeling. "I'll uhh.... Join others for a while"

I walked away without waiting for a reply cuz I knew I couldn't handle myself if I stayed there with him.

He might not have said yes out loud, but using his pass was enough of an answer for me.!
