Personality: Finnian is both outgoing and reserved; someone who is both an introvert and an extrovert. While he enjoys getting to know and having deep conversations with people, he needs time to recharge and he savors his alone time. He tries to find the best in people, even if he doesn't agree with them. While he wouldn’t classify himself as an intellectual, Finnian is very people and street smart. He understands people well and knows how to interact with them, despite how different they may be. If he is irritated by someone or their actions, he would never show it in fear that he would hurt their feelings. He tries not to be counterfeit when it comes to friendships since he doesn't want to break a relationship with anyone. Finnian as a friend is kind, adventurous, and outgoing. Finnian as a lover is no different. While he has never truly loved anyone, it is clear that he is patient and understanding when it comes to romance.

Likes: freedom, people who have common sense, those who understand him and his mental injury/people who are patient, loyalty, reading, learning about people and the world 

Dislikes: water, the pool, selfish people, individuals who don’t understand his personality, clingy people, people who restrict his freedom, the rebels (mostly their violent intentions)

Fears: Finnian's worst fear is falling in love with the wrong person. He seeks someone who is kind and loving, someone who truly understands his demeanor and looks past his mental disabilities, someone who loves him for his personality and not just his appearance. His second worst fear is swimming due to a childhood accident that left him mentally scarred.

Flaws: Finnian is quick to anger, especially when people are ignorant or impatient with him. Additionally, he can be difficult to talk to or understand if frustrated which may lead to irrational decision making.

Weaknesses: Finnian suffers from the symptoms of a traumatic brain injury due to a lack of oxygen in a childhood accident. He often has trouble remembering certain words or concentrating, causing him to be easily frustrated with himself and others. This accident also gave him PTSD that can only be seen near bodies of water or if he has a nightmare.

Strengths: Finnian is both people and street smart, disregarding his mental injury and its effects. He has a vast knowledge of information (though he has a hard time remembering it) and he is a devout lover. Furthermore, he is quite athletic and enjoys various weaponry. 

Bio: Finnian was an adventurous child, someone who favored fantasy over reality. He often played by the pool or various lakes pretending to be a fearless sea conqueror with his siblings or by himself. While he was a strong swimmer, nothing could prevent him from falling into the pool on a particularly rainy day. After slipping on the wet ground and injuring his arms from his attempts to break the fall, Finnian found himself struggling to reach the surface until he became unconscious. This traumatic event led to lasting brain damage that impairs his memory. Soon after this event, Finnian lost his parents and therefore grew closer to his siblings.

Thoughts on Selection: Finnian is both excited and timid about the Selection. While he wants to find love, he fears that he won't find someone who truly understands him.

Other: He is particularly close with his youngest sister, Mira, and is often found near her or talking to her; has a special bond with Maximus (the Head Guard) and considers him a father figure after the death of his parents; sometimes goes by Finn; While he loves dogs for their constant companionship, Donna owns a Siamese cat named Keir, who keeps him company and helps calm him down (cats hate water and so does Finnian.)
