A week has passed since Brittany and her group of disgusting friends blackmailed me. I tried to avoid them, but they always keep coming up to me for me to do stuff for them. I've been doing their homework every single day; it has been a nightmare!

Today at school, I wore a hoodie so that they wouldn't see me walk into the school. I saw them talking with each other over in a corner and I thought they didn't see me.

Thought wrong.

"TERESA, WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING?!" Angela yelled at me.

"Uhm, my class?"

"Okay, and I'll be heading over to the principal's office with my phone." Brittany said with an evil grin.

"N-no, please don't!"

"Then don't go, tomorrow is Christmas, don't ruin the vibe."

I decided to stay there as they told me to do their schoolwork.

Hours passed by and I went home just to see my mom staring at me with an angry face.

"WHY DID YOU MISS CLASS??!" My mom yelled at me.

"Well, uhm, it's a long story and I can't tell you." I said.

"YOU'RE GOING TO TELL ME NOW!" 

"W-well, these girls blackmailed me with a video and if they show the principal it, I will get expelled from school and they said if I tell anyone about it or if I don't do their work, they will show it to the principal, so I was busy doing their work!"

My mom stared at me surprised.

"Why didn't you tell me about it? I could have fixed it." My mom said.

"No, mom. You can't." I said while running up to my room.

I just stayed there crying for hours. I didn't even think about going to eat dinner with my family.

It was already the next day; it was finally Christmas. It didn't feel like it at all.

"Merry Christmas! There is someone at the door waiting to see you." My mother said.

"Who is it?" I said.

"Go look yourself." My mom said while walking out of my bedroom.

I walked downstairs as I saw my siblings and parents standing next to the door smiling.

I opened the door, and I saw a whole crowd of people. Brittany and her friend group was there too holding presents. I saw Angela too.

"Oh, Teresa! I missed having you as my friend. Also, I never strayed from God, I only acted like it so I can have some time to myself to convince people that He is real! See, I always keep my promises." Angela said.

"Aw, and you did this all for me?!" I said.

"Yes, isn't that what you wanted for Christmas?"

"YES!"

"Then come join us, we are all going sledding!"

"Okay, I just need to grab my jacket!"

I just had to wait until Christmas to get my wish.
