The fire fades in my hand like fog. Yanli was crying. Jiang Cheng looked at me angrily. Lan Zhan looked shocked at me. When you have been tortured mercilessly for three years, I expect them to know what I've been through. I turn. I finally know where the Yin Iron is. Nightless City. 

"Wei Wuxian!" Jiang Cheng yells at me.

"Lotus Pier will be destroyed." I hiss. 

I made a deal. An unbreakable deal. I don't care who lives or who dies as long as Lotus Pier is burned. Jiang Cheng and Lan Zhan jump in front of me. I roll my eyes. 

"You're getting in my way." I hiss.

"Wei Ying, this deal is made of evil. It will not end well." Lan Zhan says.

"Of course you would say that." I sigh.

"Xian. Lotus Pier is our home." Yanli says.

I glare at her.

"Lotus Pier was never my home." I say. 

I can see her face was full of tears. I turn. Lan Zhan stops me.

"Wei Ying, this isn't the path." He says.

"It's the only path for me." I hiss.

Jiang Cheng grabs my arm. I look at him.

"You should let go." I say.

"No." Jiang Cheng says.

I let out a breath. I blast him off my arm. Lan Zhan draws back. Jiang Cheng slams into a tree.

"Lan Zhan, step aside." I bare my fangs.

He takes out his sword.

"Xian...please!" Yanli screams.

I roll my eyes. I show my fangs to them. Yanli draws back.

"Wei Wuxian is dead. I'm just the remains of a broken tool." I shoot into the sky.
