In a few minutes was the series finale of Jimmy and I's favorite TV show, Friends. We were both so emotional; we've been watching this show for an eternity!
"Hurry up! It's coming on!" I said to Jimmy in the kitchen.
He opened the bag of popcorn, and poured it into a big silver bowl, countless pieces of popcorn falling all over the counter and on the floor. He skipped into the living room, hopping onto the couch.

After the last episode ended, I felt like I had run out of tears.
"Holy shit," Jimmy whispered. "That show his literally given me life,"
"Ditto,"
Then my phone vibrated. I picked it up and looked at who it was.
Kimberly was calling.
I quickly clicked answer. "Kim! Hi! How are you?"
"I'm awesome! I'm so sorry I never contacted you."
"It's okay. How's it going?"
"It's pretty good, about to wrap up junior year at high school. What about you?"
I paused. Should I tell her I'm pregnant?
"I, um, not much really." I stammered, picking at the skin of my thumb.
"So, I hear you're pregnant." Oh, well there you go. That was convenient.
"Oh, uh, how do you know?"
"It was online,"
"Oh,"
"Congrats! Is it a girl or a boy?" Kimberly asked excitedly.
"It's a girl," I laughed at her enthusiasm. "Carmella Iris Fallon,"
"Aww, that's so pretty!"
"Yeah, I think so, too,"
There was a long awkward silence until Kim said: "When are you due?"
"Two days, actually,"
"Wow. I'm so happy for you, Melody."
"Thank you, Kimmy. It's really nice to finally talk to you!"
I wrapped up the call and placed my phone back on the coffee table.
"Kimberly, huh? Haven't heard from her in a while." Jimmy said through a yawn. "How's she doing?"
"She's good," I beamed. "She's the sweetest girl,"
"She's super nice,"
Pause. "God, I'm so nervous to give birth. The thought of it makes me grimace a little bit, but it's for a good cause."
Jimmy looked over at me with his sparkling brown eyes and grinned. "It sure is,"
We talked about the final episode of Friends and other stuff to fill the silence.
I flipped through channels until Jimmy laid his palm on my belly. He stared at the ceiling. "I feel her kicking,"
I smiled, my eyes welling up. "I just can't wait to hold this baby in my arms. Our baby. There's no other person that I would rather be in love and raise a child with than you, Jimmy. Thank you so much for meeting me and forcing me to date you."
"Hey, I didn't force you. I was flirty, okay?" Jimmy said through giggles. "Besides, we both went in for the first kiss, not just me."
The memory of our first kiss flooded into my mind. We spent a day at a carnival, and when he was about to drop me off, but then we both leaned in to kiss each other. I was so afraid that it would be awkward between us after that, but I was terribly wrong.
"I love you to the moon and back infinite times, Melody Alyson Davenport," Jimmy said. A tear rolled down my cheek, flattered.
"I love you too, James Thomas Fallon."
Just then, I felt something wet spread in my pants. I looked down, and it looked like I had pissed myself. My eyes widened.
"Jimmy," I whispered. I could tell he already knew what was happening because he was already gazing at it. "Oh God, it's happening."
