Later that night, Cat Noir knew that he won't last at the hotel since it's already been a week. He robbed a few things to make a new home at the abandoned warehouse to survive. The only thing left is electricity to power up home appliances.

He stopped by the cheese store and stole Camembert to feed his kwami. He pole vaulted to his lair and saw Argos inside, still hasn't forgiven him yet and he hopes that the scar on his eye gives him eternal punishment.

"What the hell are you doing here? I already ate your feathers last time" Cat Noir rolled his eyes and puts the Camembert in the cabinets.

"Come on, cousin. I got nowhere to go. My mom already knows I have the miraculous but she's still holding a grudge against everyone being monsters" Argos said, waving his weapon fan.

"She did? Now that's only how a xenophobe would say" Cat Noir said.

"Yeah. Not everyone is" Argos said.

"You always believed everyone are monsters, Felix. But you never saw Monarch as a monster. It's still your fault he became a psycho for power and now milady and I can't seem to figure out how an akumatized victim has a non-existing miraculous" Cat Noir said, pouring a glass of milk to drink.

"I know, I made a huge mistake in creating Monarch" Argos sat down, clutching his head.

"Be careful what you wish for. You should have known he almost erased everything with the time miraculous. If it weren't for me and milady, you wouldn't have gotten the peacock miraculous. It would be erased" Cat Noir said, drinking his milk.

"I guess. To make it up, it has to be me who takes the miraculous back. I created the monster everyone hates" Argos said.

"And why should I trust you? Every time you take my place, disasters happen. Like you abandoned me instead of helping me" Cat Noir said.

"I know that. I can no longer impersonate you thanks to the scar. It's still fresh" Argos pointed out the scar was still red.

"You deserved that eternal punishment" Cat Noir chuckled evilly.

"It was worth it," Argos said.

"Hmph. And what are you, a wild bird?" Cat Noir finished his milk.

"A peacock, former bad dog," Argos said.

"I like you better as Flairmidable. You would deserve to be in a kennel" Cat Noir glared.

"Is your anger out of your system yet?" Argos rolled his eyes while having berries.

"Not quite yet. I'm so ready to get back at Monarch for using my cataclysm on him!" Cat Noir dented the metal wall.

"I guess you want revenge on your evil father" Argos didn't flinch at the feline's rage.

"Yes, I will," Cat Noir said.

"I told you to stop letting him tell you what to do," Argos said, sitting on the couch and turning on the TV and noticing an akuma is out again.

"And I did. Great, an akuma this late at night? Stay here and don't touch anything. Milady might kick your ass again" Cat Noir jumps out the window.

"Got it" Argos replied.

In the city, Ladybug was fighting on her own. It was Animan again and he's in a T-Rex form, trying to bite at Ladybug with his strong jaws.

"Hey! Over here!" Ladybug shouted as she tries to lure him away. Animan transformed into a black panther to chase her.

"Come on, Kitty! Be here soon!" She thought as she ran.

She spoke too soon when Cat Noir came in and smacked Animan with his baton, "Bad kitty!"

"About time kitty cat" Ladybug smiled.

"Mmhmm.....only one cat is allowed to have Ladybug" Cat Noir taunted the black panther.

"One cat too many" Animan taunted back.

"I think I'm higher on the food chain" Cat Noir charged at him, "HYAAAAAH!" He strikes him with his pole.

Ladybug watched him fight aggressively. She's never seen him this angry like that. Maybe because he's been traumatized by using his cataclysm on a living person and he doesn't want to make that mistake again.

"He's not using the cataclysm" She analyzed his moves.

Cat Noir snatched the Akuma bracelet and crushed it with his hands, "Cataclysm!" He grabbed the Akuma with his destruction hand.

Ladybug gasped at his rage but she can't find a way to calm him down. So instead, she tossed her lucky charm in the air, "Miraculous Ladybug!" She shouted.

All the damage was repaired and Animan returned to normal.

"What the hell was that, Cat Noir?" Ladybug asked in concern.

"It doesn't matter how many he sends, he never runs out of butterflies" Cat Noir replied.

"What is wrong with you today? This past week you're turned into a wild animal" Ladybug said.

Cat Noir calms down while looking at his partner, "I just had a rough day" He replied.

"You always had a rough day, kitty. You're not telling me something" Ladybug said.

"It's something I'm not ready to tell you yet. But it's mostly because Monarch using my cataclysm on himself is really hitting my mind. I'm always reminded of the event every time I use my powers" Cat Noir explained.

"Kitty I understand you're traumatized," Ladybug said.

"I can't stand akumas, milady. I need to go, now" Cat Noir pole vaulted in anger, not wanting to be petted again.

"All this trouble these last few weeks really got to him," Ladybug said in concern.

Cat Noir came back to the warehouse and saw Argos fast asleep on the couch with the TV on. He turns off the TV and puts a blanket over him. He still isn't forgiven yet but he does care a little about him since he's his cousin.

"Great, another rage episode in front of Ladybug" He shuddered at getting enraged and destroying the akuma, "Claws in" He transformed back.

"Had a long day?" Plagg asked.

"Yeah. Sadly, I destroyed an akuma tonight" Adrien said.

"I understand you are pissed at your father being obsessed with the miraculous. He's in a world of hell now" Plagg said, munching on his cheese.

"He doomed himself," Adrien said.

"If your mother was alive, she would definitely divorce him" Plagg swallowed his cheese.

"She was better than him" Adrien laid down.

"My kitten is all grown up," Plagg said.

Adrien smiled at him and drifted off to sleep, "Thank you"

The next morning, Adrien saw his cousin detransformed in his sleep and Duusu was sleeping on his head. He kept muttering in his sleep about Kagami while holding a pillow to think he's holding her in his dream.

"Seems he finally found love in his heart" Adrien said quietly.

"Since when does he talk in his sleep?" Plagg asked.

"I don't know. But let's have some breakfast" Adrien said.

"You sure you can trust him having your ex-girlfriend?" Plagg asked.

"I got an eye on him" Adrien winked at him.

"Cats and birds don't get along. You may be allergic to pigeons and feathers but your cousin is not. Is he allergic to cats?" Plagg asked.

"No, he's not. And I've been snake, ladybug, and rabbit" Adrien said.

"And him a dog once" Plagg reminded him.

Adrien peeled a banana to eat, "Yeah, while Ladybug has been cat too" Adrien replied.

"Yeah, twice," Plagg said.

"Yup," Adrien said and finished his banana.

Soon Felix woke up with a long yawn and held Duusu in his open hand.

"Morning bird," Adrien said.

"Morning kitty cat," Felix said.

"Funny. Eat up, bird" Adrien hands him grapes, "If you're gonna save Kagami, it's best if you try a sentimonster to spy on her"

"No, I'm not using a sentimonster again. I can't stay in control" Felix refused.

"Sentimonsters are not real, Felix. They are created, not born. Unlike Shadow Moth and Mayura, you don't force them to do your bidding" Adrien said.

"I know they are not real but you saw what I did. I'm out of practice" Felix said while eating.

"Perhaps you could try one as your spy bird" Adrien suggested.

"This is so gonna affect my guilt" Felix shuddered but decided to give it a try, "Duusu, spread my feathers" He transformed into Argos in a blue flash and saw Adrien looking at him weirdly, "What?"

"Nothing. It's that your peacock eyes make you look like you're possessed by a demon" Adrien said.

"Right" Argos rolls his eyes, "But this scar makes me look creepier too"

"Indeed. Plagg, claws out" Adrien transformed into Cat Noir, "As I remember in the past, Shadow Moth created one that was small like a butterfly. It could hide in places like eyes around the walls" He paced back and forth, thinking of what kind of sentimonster can help see kwamis through technology with a sentimonster, "Kwamis can't be seen in films or photos. Can you create a sentimonster that can see kwamis through technology?"

"Yes, let me try" Argos concentrated to create one suitable spy.

He tries his ring and puts the amok in it. He concentrated as hard as he can but his mind was too stressed and scared to make the mistake again. The amok came out and it turns into a pure white feather.

"Damn it! I'm out of practice" Argos slumps on the couch.

"Keep trying" Adrien urged.

"Give me the tablet. I just need concentration to put the amok in it" Argos said, eating grapes to calm down.

"Here you go" Cat Noir hands the tablet over, "With this, we should see what the sentimonster sees"

Argos pulled out a feather from his fan and transfer his energy to create an amok, letting it transfer through the tablet so he can create his sentimonster again. He concentrates with his hands to make a shape of a sentimonster. It became small like a butterfly and it turned into an Optigami. The same one from the Style Queen incident at the Montparnasse Tower.

"This one will do," Argos said.

"And you have to let it obey you, Felix. I know you don't want to but it's a way to not risk any danger again. Check the tablet if it's seeing us" Cat Noir said and detransformed to test if it can see a kwami.

Argos checks the tablet and saw himself, Plagg and Adrien, "It's working"

"Blah, blah, blah! You can't touch me!" Plagg mocking Optigami.

"C'mon Plagg, give this one a break. For once we got a master spy" Adrien said.

"Yeah. Let's get started" Plagg replied.

"Okay. So what's the plan?" Argos asked.

"Well, Ladybug will surely whoop your ass if she sees you. It's best to stay out of sight. Milady and I have no idea how my father is akumatizing victims with a miraculous. We need to know where they are in his mansion" Adrien said.

"Yes. Let's get going" Argos said.

"Plagg, claws out" Adrien transformed into Cat Noir again.

Much later they were just outside the mansion. The Optigami butterfly with eyes was obeyed by Argos to fly through the mansion and blend in the walls to spy on Gabriel and Tomao.

"Okay, there they are" Cat Noir checks the tablet.

"That mother of hers is extremely demanding. I don't like it" Argos said while watching.

"Your son has disappeared and my daughter refuses to be bonded with him! You should have controlled your child when you had the chance, Gabriel! But your obsession with Ladybug and Cat Noir is distracting you!" Tomao argues with him.

"I'm running out of time. I need them to get healed to full health!" Gabriel argued back.

"Then do it fast before this contract is ripped! You are useless!" Tomao smashes the statue with her bokken stick.

"We need a new plan" Gabriel and Tomao walked towards the portrait of Emilie and pressed the buttons, letting the platform beneath them go down.

"So he hid it behind Mom's portrait" They observed.

"Okay. Let's keep going" Argos made Optigami follow Gabriel and Tomao.

"No wonder he never leaves the office" Cat Noir growled, "And I bet you discovered it too because you dropped your monocle" He glared at the bird.

"Technically it was more than discovering his secret. I can't tell you why" Argos said nervously, not wanting to traumatize him more by mentioning Emilie.

"Never mind. But let our spy do our job. The monocle contains evidence" Cat Noir said.

They saw the lair and the kwamis in their capsules, whimpering in fear. Cat Noir gasped in horror that his father kept them prisoners instead of taking care of them like holders are supposed to do.

"What a monster!" Cat Noir said.

"Gabriel you son of a bitch!" Argos said angrily.

They noticed the miraculous as rings, "He changed them to rings!" Cat Noir said.

"I wasn't expecting that! I can't believe I messed up!" Argos cringed his eyes shut.

"No time to dwell on guilt! We have to save them somehow" Cat Noir said.

"No, we can't. If we do that, he'll capture ours" Argos said.

"Any ideas then?" Cat Noir asked.

"We just need to know how he's akumatizing his victims with the miraculous" Argos said, watching Monarch send out a mega Akuma through the portal.
