Rayselle sighed.

Right now, both of them were in the House of Fraser, wanting to duplicate the topaz tiara in case they had lost the real one.

Kasey had sent them a picture of it on the Unsuspected Love group chat, which Rayselle had now forwarded to RonReaco in case his phone had died.

And it did.

They were both talking about how they needed to go downstairs to the duplication station which was for staff members only.

RonReaco's plan was more or less for him to fall in love with everything in the shop and compliment excessively but not too suspiciously about everything they currently wanted to sell.

The staff members working upstairs would have been flattered, so flattered that they wouldn't have seen Rayselle go downstairs.

That was a decent plan except from the fact that when Rayselle wanted to go downstairs that was when RonReaco wanted to turn to violence to solve his problems.

Hence why Rayselle had said that that was a crazy idea. Plus violence was never the answer.

Unless someone had asked someone else what had rhymed with silence. Then violence was the answer but even then, that occasion was pretty rare.

Rayselle didn't even know why RonReaco wanted to turn to violence. He just did.

"I don't see you coming up with anything productive," RonReaco had stated after explaining how this was hopefully going to work.

"Aight fine but you don't have to be violent at the end. The complimenting bit is fine though. Really nice gesture too."

Even if slightly fake.

Now that that was sorted, Rayselle now pretty desperately wanted to know something else- how would he have known when it was the right time for him to go downstairs?

"You can sense it," RonReaco had answered. "Or I can wink at you."

"Can you wink?"

RonReaco had just looked at Rayselle almost as if he had asked him if he was allowed to breathe.

RonReaco had just scoffed at that, rolling his eyes comically.

"What do you mean can I wink? Of course I can. What kinda question is that? That's one of the stupidest questions I've ever heard in my life."

"Dang, bro. Just saying. Jeez. Besides, not everybody is good at it. I was just double checking."

Not replying, RonReaco had then realised that they had done too much talking but not really enough acting.

Rayselle had stood close to the stairs that had left downstairs although not too close to it in case someone had gotten suspicious.

There was a staff member at the till and another staff member that wasn't really doing anything. Either she was on break or she was new here, maybe even both.

By her name tag which RonReaco could have seen even from miles away, her name was Shahidi and she had looked like this:

"Hey, yo, Shahidi!"

RonReaco had called her name as Rayselle was silently watching him, with the both of them smiling at each other.

It had then dawned on Rayselle that he had a portable charger on him this whole time, he just didn't realise it.

When he had eventually charged his phone, messages from the Unsuspected Love group chat had come rushing in like crazy.

Due to time constraints, Rayselle didn't read everything although he had read most of it.

Sienna Rose started it, who was looking after Kasey's siblings at home, most especially how they had the flu.

Kasey's mother was busy working and so was his father. They were all having an impromptu sleepover at Kasey's house for a psychology project.

Sometimes Unsuspected Love would have abbreviated their names to just the first letter of it although when it came to Sitara and Serenity they had just referred to them as Si and Se instead.

For Raina Riele and Sienna Rose who had double barrel names, it was the same thing. They had called Raina Riele RR and Sienna Rose SR.

Long story short they had talked about that for a while with Sienna lastly wanting to know why Sitara wasn't answering her phone.

Rayselle didn't really read the rest, not even the messages that were asking him how things were going.

Not that this had mattered much because Leilani had sent him the same question privately, which Rayselle did actually notice.

Instead of replying, Rayselle had just decided to video RonReaco flattering Shahidi over everything before explaining the plan to them.

Dang, girl. Where are these necklaces from? Did they come from heaven? 'Cause they're very angelic.

RonReaco was complimenting Shahidi so much that she had started to blush, eventually deciding to wink at Rayselle as he was videoing him for Leilani.

When nobody was looking or when he had thought that nobody was looking, oh but someone was, Rayselle had then gone downstairs, with someone noticing.

"Hey! That kid just went downstairs!"

This was the same Asian man that had said:

Heck, we barely know what's going on. We just keep hearing the words topaz tiara but that's it. They won't tell us.

When RonReaco and Rayselle wanted to know when Giovanni and Valentina were so angry.

"What kid?" Shahidi wanted to know, with her back turned against RonReaco.

"The one you were just talking to went downstairs as well!" Someone else had commented.

That was when Shahidi had realised that indeed, everything was a scam, immediately going downstairs, but before that, she had called someone.

Rayselle and RonReaco were just glad that they didn't have to resort to violence to solve their problems but now they had a bigger one.

How could they have duplicated the tiara without getting caught?

"That was close, man! But thank heavens we didn't have to use violence! We would have gotten into so much trouble for that!"

"We're already in trouble Rayselle, for being down here alone."

Only God could have helped them now.

No one else really could.
