Unfortunately for Raina Riele, Unsuspected Love was completely flourishing.

Unsuspected Love was the name that Leilani and Kasey had both unanimously given their new group of friends.

They had all called themselves that in the first place because never in their life did they ever think that they would have ended up as a friendship group.

There were three boys
Rayselle, Kasey and Leilani

And there were also three girls too
Sienna, Serenity and Sitara

Serenity and Sitara were twins.

Right now though, all of the members of that crew were right opposite Raina at a table.

It was the last lesson of the day, and it was moreover Chemistry, although because the teacher wasn't in school today?

They all had a supply teacher instead.

Supplies had let everyone sit where they wanted to sit, as long as they had actually done the work.

Actually, it had all depended on who they were to be honest, but more often than not, supply teachers would have let them sit anywhere they wanted to sit.

Either way, Raina Riele couldn't have helped but to stare at them in admiration as they were laughing about something.

Most especially Leilani.

Dang it.

Who would have thought that three weeks down the line, you would have regretted ever leaving him?

Hence why the grass wasn't always greener on the other side.

Sometimes it was, but it was temporary.

Sometimes permanent.

But other times?

The grass wasn't always greener on the other side, and if it was greener that was only really because it was a grass full of weeds. Or it was something like Astro turf aka fake grass instead.

She had wireless EarPods in because she really didn't want to hear her so called cheerleader friend Cecelia talking about her boyfriend all of the damn time.

They were all pretty much on the same table as Raina Riele right about now, and there were five of them in total.

Cecilia, the Indian one.

She had mysterious blue eyes and she also had curly waist length hair too.

Sheniqua, the Nigerian one.

She had box braids at the moment, which had started off being dark blue then it had turned to light blue instead, it was actually really pretty.

Sakura, the Japanese one.

Indiana, the American one.

And last but not least, Bianca- the British one.

She was probably the worst one in the group to be honest, being as rude as Sheniqua, Sheniqua being even worse though.

They had all gone to a fictional high school known as Cyprus High School, all wearing their cheerleading outfits because they had practised at lunchtime.

Every Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

They were only wearing their cheerleading tops though, they were wearing school trousers or skirts instead.

Then he looked deeply into my eyes..

Cecelia had had an Indian boyfriend known as Vikesh, and they had been going out for quite some time now, a month or so.

She couldn't stop talking about him, and she was talking about the time that they had kissed for the first time.

It was uncomfortable for Raina Riele to listen to, hence why she was using wireless EarPods.

She would have actually left the table completely, although she wasn't that disrespectful.

What happened after?

He put his arms around my waist and he brung me closer to him. I think I was on the top of his car or something. Everything was sooo romantic.

It felt as though it was just me and him outside, in the night sky and-

Cecelia had then stopped talking about her stupid boyfriend after she had realised that Raina Riele wasn't listening.

She had called her name, but her earphones were turned at almost full volume.

It was an accident at first, that was until Raina Riele had realised that it was better off that way.

She might have been deaf at the end but at least it was better than listening to this seriously dreadful story.

Raina Riele didn't really like Ed Sheeran that much, although she did like his song Sing as well as Shape Of You too.

Sheniqua had nudged her lightly in the ribs, which had gotten her attention.

She just wanted to do work.

She had removed her EarPods, with Cecilia shooting her a dirty look.

"Were you even listening to my story?" She had scoffed, and at that second, Raina Riele had just rolled her eyes.

She just wanted this lesson to be over, and it almost kind of was. There were only fifteen minutes or so to go and that was it.

Raina Riele had oftentimes worked at KFC after school on Wednesdays with her older brother RonReaco, however that was part time.

"Girl. You've been going on about Vikesh since the start of the lesson, and the lesson's been going on for one and a half hours. No disrespect, but I don't want to hear silly stories about your stupid boyfriend anymore. I'm just done with y'all."

Everyone around them had heard that, with her so called cheerleader friends completely violating her.

Vikesh wasn't even Cecelia's age mate.

He was three years older than her.

Cecelia had liked cute and nice Asian guys that could have driven. She had liked other races too, but mainly Asian as that was her own race.

"Did you just call my boyfriend... stupid?"

Raina Riele had sighed to herself as everybody was looking at her, mentally facepalming herself.

Gosh, she hated it here.

She wanted to be a part of Unsuspected Love so bad.

In fact, she had even kind of caught Leilani staring at her from across the room, and she had stared back at him.

When she had smiled at him faintly though, Leilani had completely disregarded it as if she didn't even exist in the first place.

Which was all her fault for letting him go.

"No I didn't."

"That's what she thought," Bianca stated, flipping her hair. "If you want to be part of the cheerleading squad, then you gotta appreciate and be nice to everybody there."

That was the thing though.

Raina Riele didn't even want to be here anymore.

She didn't even have the heart to tell them.

She just waited until the end of school when it was time for her to work with her brother at KFC.

Raina really needed someone to rant to.

She was done with cheerleading as well as being popular.

She had liked it at first but now it was the biggest thing she wanted to get away from.
