♥️Chapter VI♥️

Sorry I didn't update yesterday. I was kinda insanely busy, but I'll make up for it today!

Leilani wanted Kasey.

Correction...

Leilani needed Kasey--sort of.

Sienna Rose had already texted him saying that the rest of them were going to go to KFC as he in the meantime had tried to make friends with Kasey.

Raina Riele had actually worked there, but that was only during the weekends.

And every other Wednesday.

Plus they weren't even going to the one that she had worked at either.

Right now though, Leilani was in the boys' toilets, because he was pretty sure that he had seen Kasey walk in there, and he didn't leave.

What the toilets had looked like, as they were actually really fancy?

Here...

"Kasey?"

He didn't say anything, but he was still there.

He would have actually cried but he was a man, although when Kasey did eventually see Leilani's sneakers at the bottom of the toilet door, walking around looking for him?

He had sat on the toilet seat, after closing it.

"Kasey, I know you're in here," Leilani had called, cupping his hands around his mouth so that he could have been heard properly.

Kasey wanted to come out, although he was too embarrassed to do so.

All he could have really thought about was what had happened earlier.

As far as he was concerned, Kasey had never messed up him singing in front of a crowd.

There was a first time for everything.

Some rude people even had the audacity to laugh at him, but nobody in Leilani's group had done that because they were respectful people.

Kasey had soon realised how many people were staring at him and laughing, falling quiet, as the female hostess had taken the microphone away from him.

Then what stupid Adrianna had said, which had really ruined everything for Kasey...

Give it up for Kasey Crayking!

Or should I say Kasey Voice Breaking?

That was when Kasey had stormed out completely. He didn't stay long enough to hear what Sienna Rose and co all had to say about this situation.

But he didn't unintentionally stay long enough to find Leilani looking for him.

"Kasey, I'm not gonna hurt you, man. I just wanna know if you're OK."

Made sense...

But how could this kid really have been trusted?

Kasey didn't actually know that Leilani was Leilani, that was the thing.

This was why the decision on whether he should have come out or not was difficult, compared to if he had actually known Leilani in the first place.

Kasey knew of Leilani... and vice versa too for that matter, and even though they had spent some lessons together, they didn't actually talk to each other that much.

Screw that, they only spent one lesson together- Maths.

They were in the same maths set, second highest.

There were approximately seven sets in total.

After hearing silence from Kasey for a while, Leilani had soon figured out that it was in his best interest to leave as Kasey definitely wasn't going to come out anytime soon.

By the looks of it anyway...

"Imma take your silence as a sign that you don't wanna talk to anyone, and that's fine. But if you ever need anything..."

Leilani didn't finish his sentence, which was all because after he had said the word anything, Kasey had opened up the cubicle he was in, and he had come outside.

Him losing his voice halfway through singing was embarrassing, so embarrassing that it should have gone on Guinness World Records for most embarrassing moment (for a 17 year old kid).

It wouldn't really have hurt to rant to someone about this , plus it was nice to know that someone had actually cared about the guy after so many selfish people out there.

Leilani had watched Kasey come out, and he didn't mind him taking his time as he knew how introverted the kid was.

"Sorry... I was just thinking about if I should come out or not."

"It's fine," Leilani answered. "Anyway- are you okay? I mean... you lost your voice halfway through singing."

And he still kinda did right now.

Kasey sighed, he was too flustered to actually say anything.

Then he seemed pissed off at Leilani getting all up in his business like that.

"Why do you wanna know?" Kasey had replied eventually, kind of annoyed. "So that you can laugh at me like everyone else?"

Leilani freaked out.

"What? No! Brooo. I was just wondering if you were okay, that's it. I'm not that kinda person. Trust me."

Kasey stared straight at Leilani suspiciously.

In his defence though, he didn't really have much friends, and the people that did seemingly want to be friends with him had ulterior motives.

Kasey was one of the best Male singers at Cyprus High School, and now that he had thought about it, people had mainly 'befriended' him when there was an upcoming talent show.

If I do an act with Kasey, then I'll win for sure.

Or get a good position at least, assuming I don't win...

Was what most people had thought before they had 'made friends' with him, before completely dumping him after they had gotten what they had wanted.

One of the many disadvantages of being a popular male singer to be honest... another huge disadvantage being what had happened to Kasey today.

Poor Kasey didn't even see through their act, as in he had never known that people were using him.

Aha, but Leilani wasn't using him.

He was genuinely concerned about him, and he wanted to be his friend as well.

"Look, man. I don't know if you were there but my friends stuck up for you. We're all really worried about you."

"And where are your friends now exactly?" Kasey demanded, folding his arms.

Leilani had shown him a text saying that they were on their way to KFC at the moment, with Sienna Rose asking them if they wanted anything.

Leilani was still yet to get back to that message.

"See? They wanted you to come, but only if you want to do so."

Kasey didn't know the answer to that.

He had to think about it.

Really really hard, this could have been a scam after all.
